Outlook Rock

Tallfeather nodded slowly, his thoughts still on traveling to Stormclan camp. Not only for his own benefit and that of Skyfeather's, but also for Shadowstorm. The male would need to hear about Isenfire. Tallfeather sighed at the thought. The male had already lost his love once -- what would happen when he found out she was gone again, this time forever? Tallfeather knew he was reduced to such fear and anger just at the thought of Skyfeather being hurt, and he knew it would be a thousand times harder on Shadowstorm to find out that Isenfire was dead.

When Heatherstar gestured at his wound, Tallfeather shook his head. "Its fine." He assured her, and it really was. Most of the wound was already congealed and scabbed over, and only a few rivulets of blood oozed past. Most blood had dried on the fur around his face, and his only other wounds were dull, aching bruises where the wolves had rammed into him. Tallfeather would be sore in the morning, but he knew he would be fine in the long run. A good thing, too, because Windclan would need every able bodied wolf if this evil pack ever returned.

Heatherstar gazed unblinkingly at the bloodied clearing and listened as Tallfeather stated that his wounds were fine. She gave him a small nod to show that she had heard him. Turning her gaze on the SunClan apprentice known as Thistlepaw, she gave him a sorrowful look. Shadowstorm, along with the rest of SunClan, would have to be informed of Isenfure's death. "I thank you greatly for SunClan's help, and I am truely, deeply sorry for the loss of such a great warrior. Tell me, Thistlepaw, is Shadowstorm currently in your camp?" The WindClan
Leader had decided to deliver the news personally, and also, if she could, wanted to warn Direstar to be on full alert incase the murderous pack decided to pay SunClan an unwelcome visit. She waited for the apprentice's reply.

Thistlepaw nodded solemnly in thanks for her condolences. "To you as well," he replied steadily looking up at her. They had also lost a warrior, that much he remembered from the battle. Heatherstar then surprised him by asking if Shadowstorm was in camp. The question confused him for a moment before he realized what had occurred. Grief washed over the apprentice's face as he thought of Isenfire and the pups she would never have, the mother she would never be. The true implications finally came to him in an epiphany. "No, he is in StormClan camp I believe still recuperating from previous wounds. As far as I know he will be there for a while." He knew what Heatherstar wanted to do. "Are you sure now is the right time for that?" Thistlepaw asked her. He was certainly not a leader and knew that perhaps he did not know best. "He's also a SunClan wolf.. A SunClan wolf may be better suited in informing one of our own?"

"We will tell him," Streakfire said sorrowfully. "Come on. We need to go back to our camp, even though it's about a mile away." (IDK) She dipped her head to Heatherstar. She gestured for the others to come and she padded to camp.

Heatherstar listened to Thistlepaw and considered his question for a moment. "Nevertheless, I would still like to pay a visit to the StormClan camp. If you would prefer, you can by all means deliver the news to him yourselves." Giving her fur the very quickest of grooms to try and rid her pelt of the worst of the blood Heatherstar looked from both Thistlepaw to Streakfire. "Are you ready and willing to go now?" She wanted to get to the StormClan camp as soon as possible to warn Shadestar about the pack that was roaming around the forest, as she wanted to give them as much notice as possible. As much as she was un-keen on the StormClan wolves, she saw no reason to let innocent wolves die like Luckyclover and Isenfire had not that long ago. "If so, would you mind terribly if Tallfeather came along too if he wishes?" She glanced questioningly at Tallfeather.

Thistlepaw hesitated at Heatherstar's offer. Streakfire was already calling for all of the SunClan wolves to go back to camp. He decided to ignore her order and instead nodded to Heatherstar, indicating that he would follow her. "Yes, that is fine," she said regarding her question about Tallfeather. The apprentice tried to hold himself with confidence, slightly weary that he would possibly be meeting the rumored StormClan leader that was supposedly so terrifying. Would Direstar approve him of going on such a mission? He by himself wasn't very close to Shadowstorm, but he would do the best he could with the situation. It also was a plus if he got to see the inner workings of StormClan camp just in case. "Why is Tallfeather going as well?" Thistlepaw asked boldly, watching him closely. As far as he knew, the warrior wasn't close to Shadowstorm and Heatherstar was already going to meet with the StormClan leader. Why did he have to accompany her?

Tallfeather was relieved when Heatherstar mentioned Tallfeather accompanying her, and when the Sunclan apprentice approved. He supposed she was only offering on his behalf because he was able bodied and it may not seem wise to enter an enemy camp alone, but Tallfeather had his own intentions. He had to make sure Skyfeather was okay, and if that meant acting rashly, he would do it. When the Sunclan apprentice spoke up, Tallfeather looked down at him, a tiny grin curling his muzzle in spite of himself. "So Heatherstar won't be endangered by nosy apprentices like yourself."

Thistlepaw narrowed his eyes at the WindClan's wolf reply. His decision to evade the question instead of answering it directly bothered the apprentice. "Hmph," was his only reply as his gaze switched from the warrior and back to Heatherstar. His thoughts were going a mile a minute trying to figure out what was going on. Perhaps if he had arrived at the battle earlier he would have been able to put two and two together, but for now he was left with not enough information. His eyes flicked back to Tallfeather with a curious glance before once again returning to the WindClan leader.

Darkblaze, Duskshadow, Jaggedclaw, and Smokedeath attacked some of the Windclan warriors. Shadewhisper's body was taken, Luckyclover was killed, and so was Isenfire of Sunclan, who was pregnant with pups. Sunclan joined in because Jadepaw ran to theri camp and alerted them of the danger. Tallfeather and Heatherstar are getting ready to go to Stormclan camp, where Shadowstorm is, Isenfire's mate. Heatherstar is also going to warn Shadestar and Greystar of the impending threat. ]]

Spottedpaw gazed at the area around Outlook Rock. 2 more wolves dead, and the body of her mentor was stolen. The She-wolf felt a strange mixture of emotions. Anger, sorrow, fear, and a burning feeling of the need for revenge. Spottedpaw perked her ears as Heatherstar said to warn Stormclan of the horrible monsters that had just invaded their territory. "Wait Heatherstar." She cautioned her leader. "Before anyone leaves, I need to check for wounds. We don't need anyone collapsing on the way to Stormclan." The She-wolf opened her mouth and tasted the air. She knew that a patch of Dock grew around here. Spottedpaw then padded towards where the herb resided.

Snowflower stood up with a face of anger and rage. It was scary when she was angry. The female started scowling at this so called Cernobog. Taking deep breathes, she calmed down. "I would...like to follow."she said.

Heatherstar watched Tallfeather and Thistlepaw carefully as the WindClan warrior decided to make a smart remark at the SunClan apprentice's question. Pausing the WindClan leader decided not to follow the short conversation up and instead turned to Spottedpaw as she insisted on treating the wounds before they set off. "If you wish, Spottedpaw. Though might I ask you to be as quick as possible? I do not want to waste any time." She trusted Spottedpaw greatly and knew that she would do only what was best for the Clan and others, however she was aware that the evil pack could be planning their next attack as they spoke. Time was a very precious thing to the female, and she wanted to make the most of what they had left whilst they could.

Jadepaw came to stand up along side Spottedpaw and shot Thistle and Tall a wary glance. "Is there anything I can do to help?" Jade asked Spotted and Heather with a tilt of her head. She felt useless stood around and wanted to do something to her clan. She was only an apprentice but she had her uses.

The She-wolf came to the patch of dock. Bending down, Spottedpaw broke off several plants. She heard Jadepaw's question. "Yes, Jadepaw, can you find some cobwebs for me?" She asked without looking up. "That would be really helpful!" She grabbed a few more plants before trotting back to where the rest of the wolves were. Alright, who's first?" She asked through a mouth full of Dock. Spottedpaw gazed around at the wolves and noticed that Heatherstar had a nasty scratch on her back that was turning her pelt red. "Heatherstar?" She called for her leader to come over to her. The She-wolf then began chewing up the Dock.

Jadepaw nodded as Spottedpaw gave her some instructions. "Sure, alright." She replied and bounded away in search of the much needed cobwebs. Jade dashed around the place looking for the precious webs and sprinted back not too long later on three legs with cobwebs wrapped around her fourth. "Here." She barked as she placed the cobwebs delicately beside Spottedpaw and lay down beside her to act as a wind shield. This way, also, she would be ready to dash off if sent on another errand.

Heatherstar observed Spottedpaw's actions intently as the WindClan Medicine wolf asked Jadepaw for help before going to collect some Dock to treat the wounds with. Hearing Spottedpaw call her name she hesitated, then padded half reluctantly forward to come and stand before her. The scratch on her eye still stung, however now was only emitting a small trickle of blood, much unlike the wounds on her back and shoulder which were still oozing blood and continuing to turn her pelt a rusty colour. Some of them had begun to scab over, mercifully, and as she waited for Spottedpaw to begin doing whatever she needed to do, she stayed silent. She did not want Spottedpaw to waste any of her precious herbs on her. No. The leader had nine lives to spare, whereas her Clan mates only had one. If anyone was in need the herbs most, they were.

Spottedpaw cringed at the bitter flavor of the plant. She then turned the last of it into a poltice. She padded over to Heatherstar. Checking her wound carefully, Spottedpaw was relieved to find that the scratch wasn't too deep. "This might sting a bit." She told her leader. "But that means that it's working." The She-wolf then spat out a small green glob of Dock onto Heatherstar's scratch. Spottedpaw glanced at Jadepaw as she came back with a wad of Cobwebs. "Thanks Jadepaw!" She barked at him, grabbing a cobweb. The She-wolf pasted it carefully onto the wound.

Thistlepaw watched as Heatherstar turned away, and the healer from WindClan began speaking. She went wolf by wolf and checked their injuries before patching them up a little and moving onto the next. One of the WindClan apprentice ran off to find cobwebs and returned a few minutes later. The male apprentice watched this healer with interest, a curious nature clear from his tipped head as he watched her every move. Inside his mind he made note of every herb used, observing how the Medicine Wolf used them on her patients, and any uses if she mentioned them. This could perhaps be very important in the future just in case.

As he learned he forgot about the father waiting for him, Streakfire who had returned to camp a while ago, and his dead packmate. He was so focused on watching this task before him he nearly forgot where he was and why he was there. Blinking a couple times and shaking his head to bring himself back to the present, the boy straightened his head and stood up taller though still kept a close eye on the healer.

Spottedpaw finished up with Heatherstar. She noticed that the Sunclan apprentice was watching her, and shifted her paws uncomfortably. The She-wolf padded away from them and turned towards the rest of the wolves. "Ok, who's next?" She asked, picking up a wad of cobwebs in her mouth.

Thistlepaw looked away when he noticed the healer shuffling, obviously not comfortable with his glances. He instead took this chance to inspect WindClan territory. He had never been in another Clan's territory before and thus it was new to him. Sniffing the air he wrinkled his nose slightly at the unfamiliar scent, and he admitted to himself that he liked SunClan's of open air mountains and pine trees much better. Every now and again he still glanced over at the apprentice to see what she was doing, trying to learn as much as possible without causing discomfort to the female.

Heatherstar acknowledged Spottedpaw's warning that the poltice was likely to sting a little and watched Spottedpaw intently from the corner of her eye as she got to her work. She seemed very confident in what she was doing and appeared to know exactly what was needed and what to do with the herbs, and Heatherstar had no doubt that she would be right in saying that this actually was the case. Shadewhisper had been an excellent mentor and Medcine Wolf, and she felt that Spottedpaw would do just as good a job as his successor. "Thank you." The leader voiced as she heard Spottedpaw announce that she had finished treating her wounds and was ready for the next patient. Swiftly resuming her spot upon Outlook Rock where she had been not moments before, and could keep an eye on every gathered wolf along with the visible territory, she curled her tail neatly around her paws and waited for the next wolf to step forth towards Spottedpaw.

Snowflower padded around. "I'm not hurt..."she said. (Because I was awy for a bit -.-) the fae looked to DuskFang and Jadepaw. "How about you two?"she asked.

Duskfang bared his teeth after the wolves as they retreated, clearly satisfied with the amount of destruction and mayhem they had caused. His ears swivelled around as he heard Spottedpaw's summons and he padded over to stand next to Snowflower. His large orbs glittered dangerously as he scanned the horizon and territory, searching for any movement o little dot that might mean danger. At Snowflower's question he turned his head abruptly to look down at her. As far as he knew, he was unhurt. "No, I am fine." he grumbled, his tail twitching restlessly.

The pup perked her ears as Snowflower looked at her. "I'm fine..." she replied and flicked her tail. She almost felt guilty for not having helped fight but she knew she would probably be in the ranks of StarClan if she'd have tried fight against those wolves. Jadepaw looked at the floor and shuffled her paws awkwardly.
