Outlook Rock

"Indeed I shall." Duskfang barked as he returned his gaze to the moors bellow. When new leaf arrived the view would certainly loose some of it's beautiful majesty, however he was glad that he could enjoy it whilst it lasted with the only wolf in the whole world that he could ever have wished to spend it with. He inhaled deeply, drinking in her sweet scent and smiling. He wanted to savour this moment for as long as possible, and would treasure moments like this forever.

Snowflowee smiled. The femme enjoyed the view. The setting sun was indeed a wonderful bonus to it. She leaned on Duskfang, enjoying the company.

Duskfang pushed his nose affectionately into Snowflower's neck fur as she leaned against him. He closed his eyes and sighed contently. He could feel the last rays of the setting sun burning down on his pelt, and hear the birds' songs as they soared through the sky for the last time today. He flicked his tail and gently rolled his muscly shoulders in a stretch.

Snowflower gave him a nuzzle. She sat upright and looked to the stars and full moon. "This is just as pretty."she said. Her eyes sparkled as she gazed at the stars.

Duskfang smiled. Looking directly into Snowflower's eyes he watched as they sparkled with the lights of the stars and moon above, and was instantly mesmerised by her beauty. He shuffled closer to her so that his fur brushed comfortingly against hers, and so that the different colours of their pelts mingled together. He continued to look into her eyes, utterly transfixed.

Snowflower felt Dusk's fur blend with hers. She hummed a little tune, as if it were a lullaby. She looked to Dusk and licked his muzzle. "Thank you. For giving me the feeling of love."she said with a smile. The femme stared back up to the sky, her life was filled with happiness. But this was the happiest of them all.

Jadepup ran over the grass, huffing breathe as she went from fatigue. She soon spotted the ear tips of both Snow and Dusk and she smiled triumphantly. Found you..., she thought and padded as quietly as she could towards them, although, being a pup she didn't know how to stay quiet and ended up disturbing a pigeon. She watched it as it flew into the air and vanished an she wondered whether Dusk or Snow would've noticed her. She flattened her ears and held her breath, not daring to move a muscle.

Duskfang's gaze softened. Licking her muzzle and cheek he replied between licks, "And I thank you more than anything I could ever express for showing me love and happiness too." His heart felt as if it were about to burst with joy when a thought dawned on him. But was it the right time? What would she say? Duskfang mused for a moment, still staring at Snowflower but was interrupted by a noise behind him. He looked around curiously.

Jadepup lifted her brow and clenched her teeth have they noticed?, she thought worriedly but let out a sigh of breath as her lungs were on the edge of bursting. She crept up behind the two warriors and smiled seeing them. I knew there was something going on between them!, she thought letting out a silent chuckle. They look cute together, she acknowledged and flicked her ears as a fly flew past. But the fly came again and started buzz right in her ears. Hey!, she growled in her head and batted at it, forgetting she was supposed to be hiding.

Snowflower nuzzled her crush. She heard a bird fly away. She looked back to see nothing. The fae turned back again. She heard rustling and then someone said Hey. Snowy recognized that voice right away. "Jadepup, come out."she said and chuckled.

Jadepup jumped a mile as Snowflower said her name. "Ah!" She yelped and scrambled to her feet and padded towards them. "You scared me." She grumbled, a piece of heather poking out from the top of her forehead where it had snagged her fur. She smiled eventually seeing the funny side to it.

Duskfang looked at Jadepup curiously, his ears flattening. Well that had answered his question for him. The moment had gone, and he didn't know when he would next get another chance. Sighing he returned his full attention to Jadepup and wondered. How long had she been there, and what had she seen?

Snowflower stood up. "The gathering is soon."she said. "Let's all go back to camp first."she yipped. Snowy picked the pup up. She looked to Dusk and flicked her tail as a let's go. And then, she padded off.

Jadepup realised she'd interrupted something REALLY important and she winced, "Sorry." She let Snowflower pick her up and carry her. Her legs were aching from having run all the way there, she wasn't used to having to run such a long distance yet. She sighed and wondered what everyone would say when she got back.

Duskfang watched without another word as Snowflower picked Jadepup up in her jaws and carried her away. He dipped his head deeply to her. He had thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her, and he hoped that they could do it again soon. He padded back to camp behind the two females, his tail twitching.

I hope this does not count as double posting, and also I would just like to let you know that I am not exactly clear on what goes on in a burial ceremony, so I will keep it very vague )

Heatherstar scrambled up the hill with Duskfang, Spottedpaw and Snowflower close behind, all still carrying Shadewhisper's dead corpse. This would be the Medicine Wolf's final resting place. Kneeling down to let his body slide carefully off of her back, Heatherstar waited for the others to do the same and for Snowflower to arrive. As soon as everyone was ready she would begin the ceremony. As she waited she turned to look out across the territory and at the rolling grass hills and hoped the Shadewhisper would approve of his burial site.

Snowflower reached the outlook rock. She knelt down and said a few more words before looking to Heaherstar. The white furred female looked at her surroundings. Surely the medicine wolf would approve, right? He was in the middle of nature, where he loved to be.

Darkblaze stormed over to Outlook Rock, his eyes blazing with anger and he locked them with the dead medicine wolf. The body was for sure going to be delightful for the Cernobog. The warmth and light was something he was not use to for the shadow covered property he called a territory. They would go one by one. As the confusion commenced, he grabbed Shadewhisper's body and started to drag it away. His jet black fur that covered his large muscular body was bristling at the spine. His tail curled up in dominance.

He expected Duskshadow to be attacking the three wolves that were there. He was aware that the leaders believed that they have 9 lives, he thought of this absolutely outrageous. No wolf could die and come back, only if the god allowed it to happen could they be reincarnated to a new wolf. Not even come back alive with the same body.

It was time. Duskshadow moved about through as many shadows as she could, though there weren't many to be found on the WindClan moor. There were still no patrols to speak of and no one caught her or the others on the border. Following their scents, she crouched down and stalked forward, keeping her body low. As she peeked through the brush she saw a dead body laying amongst the midst of these Clan wolves. One was clearly a leader and looked ready to address the group. Running forward and breaking out of the flora, she leaped on top of the rock and turned to address the wolves there.

"Greetings, Clan wolves." she said, "I have important news for you."

(I have to go, please don't attack my wolf while I'm gone & remember you guys don't know who she is)

Heatherstar turned her body around to face Shadewhisper for the last time. She was ready to start performing the burial. The leader was about to bend down to seize Shadewhisoer's scruff when an over lowering scent of blood ad death seemed to fill her nostrils. Looking up, alarmed, she scanned around for the source of the stench, her fur bristling apprehensively. What was happening? She soon found out. Her eyes widening with disbelief she watched for a moment, stunned beyond words as the anonymous wolf began to drag the medicine wolfs corpse away. It couldn't be. This wolf smelt like the wolf from the gathering, the one that had murdered Lightdawn. The female opened her maw to let out a yowl of outrage but was interrupted by a new voice behind her. Whipping around she snarled at the wolf, her teeth bared defensively. "Who are you? What are you doing here on WindClan territory?" Her eyes flickered across to the wolf still dragging Shadewhisper away.

(sorry I'm late mhahahahah) Smokedeath follwed the dominates into the clearing she saw the wolf near the body instantly. "Mine" she yelled furiously and ran over at full speed to ram into the other wolf with her mouth and claws. She would enjoy this battle with delight. Growling furiously the she wolf wanted the other wolf to stop asking questions.

Snowflower perked her ears to a new sound. The fae turned and saw a wolf with a horrible stench of death had just rammed into Heatherstar. She quickly started growling with a small tear in one eye. How dare these mutts interrupt the ceremony. Snowflower charged at her and eammed into her as well. She skid to a stop when she was still moving and joined Heather. The female nudged her friend over and over again.

(Lol. Is duskfang coming?)

Head hanging low, Tallfeather padded onto Outlook rock. He instantly caught wind of Shadewhisper's fading scent...but there was something else too, a scent he'd never detected before. Now suddenly alert, Tallfeather rounded a bend and did a double take at the scene before him. Snowflower was fighting off a wolf Tallfeather had never encountered, but he seemed strangely familiar...not directly, but some aspect about him. There was another wolf too, a much larger one. What was going on? "Hey!" Tallfeather snarled, rushing to stand beside Snowflower and Heatherstar. "Who in Starclan's name are you?"

Smokedeath would leave Duskshadow to talk because she had her own job. She felt stronger from the ceremony and it was building inside of her. The body was gone and no one could find it now but how could they leave this delicious wolves behind. She also didn't know who starclan was but who was she to care. She started incircleing the wolves who already chose to stand together. She was growling and almost drooling of what was too come next.

A malicious grin passed over the queen of darkness' face as she glared down from atop her high rock, her throne. The leader of the Clan looked up at her with confusion. Others began to realize what was occurring. At the right time Smokedeath came barreling forward into the mix, attempting to knock down this wolf attempting to address her. A wolf in the Clan tried to attack Smokedeath and a small group formed below. Even when they were being threatened they relied on each other instead of themselves. How quaint, their little family. Their little gods. Their little beliefs. Each would crack beneath the foot of Cernobog who was surely watching all that was occurring.

"We are the messengers of Cernobog bringing tales from other lands," Duskshadow said loudly, looking down at the one who spoke to her. "You are all very important in a great plan, a future that none of you can even imagine or anticipate. A judgement day where each of you will become one and bow down before your creator." She glared down from her podium upon which she was standing. "You all have been foolish and have not yet accepted your fate. Pledge yourselves to the cause and may you be freed from wrath. If not.. you will end up like all of the others. Make your choice wisely."

In all honesty Duskshadow had no care for these Clan wolves and their blood oaths. Nothing like that mattered to her for they would all end up the same way, feet beneath the earth with maggots burrowing into their bodies gone cold. The dominant nodded to Smokedeath, indicating that she could do whatever she wished with her prey.
