Lightningflash padded into the training area and sat down. Her tail was draped gntly to her side and her posture was picture perfect. Her bright blue eyes gazed out steadily as she waited for Mistypaw to appear. She had told the new aprentice to meet her here and so now she sat waiting. It was morning and Lightningflash snarled as the sun hit right on her. She shifted to a different, shadier spot, and there she sat waiting for Mistypaw. Her ears searched for the apprentice's pawsteps, her nose twitched for a scent and her eyes scanned the area for a disturbance in the area surrounding her. /I guess maybe hunting is what we could work on first.../ she thought. This young wolf would be her first apprentice and this training session was their first as well. Ever since the ceremony the night before, Lightning had thought about how to start trainng this pup. Hunting would be a key thing to learn since the clan needed food. So she settled on one simple idea. Their first session would be a few simple hunting and fighting movements. Maybe catch a few rabbits, mice, or something smaller. Then do a few fighting moves. /Ialmost wish Apachewind was here... He might be able to help me make up my mind./ she thought for a moment as she continued to work out which things she wanted to teach her new apprentice first.
