SunClan Camp

Dragonpaw stumbled back into camp, her cream pelt covered in blood from the dead boar apon her back. her brown eyes glittered with determination. she deposited the boar on the fresh kill pile and sat down wagging her tail proudly. she held her head high before she began to groom her pelt.

Oakthorn got up and shot a dirty glance at dragonpaw. he was sick of her ignoring him, he could hardly believe that he used to like that stuck up pup! his yellow eyes glittered with loathing before he turned and padded into the warriors den. he made himself a neat nest and curled up in it. his yellow eyes peering out watching for streakpaws return.

EbonyFur nodded with pleasure. She too fell aslrep., but woke up soon after by a tingling sensation in her face. "Hmm?"she thought and went over to a small puddle. "Great Starclan..."she thought silently as she saw the shade of her eyes. They were purple. She shook it off and sighed. "Probably a trick of the light."she said and waited for sunrise.

The medicine wolf limped into the sunclan camp. her pads bleeding from walking over the rough rocky stones. she glanced up her eyes dull and sad as she looked around the camp. she walked over to what smelt like the medicine den and sat down waiting for the medicine wolf to reveal themselves.

Streakpaw drags the prey into the camp and lays it on the freshkill pile. She sits beside Oakthorn. "Do you want to go to somewhere? I'm just bored." She hangs her head low.

Oakthorn glanced at her and smiled a little "but isnt direstar going to make you a warrior?" he queried. his yellow eyes glittered with amusement. his muscular shoulders stood outlined in his fur. he leaned over and gave her a encouraging lick to the cheek. "once you are a warior we can go everywhere together"

Direstar returned to camp and sat down in a corner waiting for shadowstorm to return. he flicked his ears and glanced around. his eyes half closed with slight tiredness. he lay down and sighed. he wondered when moonwhisper woudl give birth to the pups.

EbonyFur looked outside her den. "Hello Raven."she greets. Examining the female, she then looked to her. "Your paws are hurt. What happened?"she asked in alarm. "Do you need herbs?"she asked once more.

She smiled. "OK, lets wait! I think Direstar is wating for Shadowstorm to return." She licked him back.

Shadowstorm smiled as he padded into camp. He sat down near Direstar and gave him a brisk nod. His eyes filled with excitement, graduating and promoting his apprentice. This was really a great thing for him, in his mind.

Ravensky said quietly "i need some more burdock root, catchweed, chervil, golden rod and horsetail please". the medicine wolfs fur was dull and hung off her a little. she looked skinny and her midnight blue eyes were without their sparkle. she needed these herbs so she could return to treating the stormclan wolves. her blue pelt ruffled in the mountain breeze.

Direstar leapt up onto the tree stump that was used for gatherings and gave a howl "all wolves who are old enough to catch their own prey gather here under the stump for a clan meeting". he sat down and watched his clan emerge with satisfied eyes, they were doing well. He flicked his tail as his gaze swept over to moonwhisper, her belly round with pups. he smiled faintly and hoped that she would survive the birthing procedure.

Shadowstorm sat at the base of the rock, his eyes overfilled with pride. This was it, it was time for his apprentice, to become a warrior. All warriors dreamed of getting an apprentice [or at least most do] and he'd gotten one. He had a proud stance to him and he looked up to his former mentor. It was time.

Dragonpaw sat beside her mentor stoatblaze, staring up at direstar with her wide eyes. she flicked her long creamy tail and beamed with pride. this was her moment! this was it! and she couldnt wait. herheart thudded like atrain.

Streakpaw runs up to the tree stump and wags. This was it, she would going to be made a warrior! She could not wait! She looked at and smiled at Oakthorn.

Direstar smiled down at his clan then glanced up at the moon, nightfrost had not been around for a long time. he knew that he would have to choose a new deputy soon. he flicked his ears at streakpaw and dragonpaw inviting them to step forward. he glanced down then began speaking* "I,Direstar, leader of sunclan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. She has trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend her to you as a warrior in her turn. Dragonpaw and streakpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend this Clan, even at the cost of your life?" he watched both of the apprentices with his brigh tblood red eyes that often scared other wolves. he gave a gentle smile.

"Oh my."she said. "I'll be right back."she smiled. EbonyFur returned to Ravensky with the herbsshe needed. "Luckily, the supply is fully stocked."she said. "Running low on spinach but iI'll be able to replenish that "she said. "Just ask if you need help in StormClan."she said. Hearing Direstar's call, she looked to Ravensky. "Clan meeting... I'll see you later."she said and padded over to where they were gathered.

Streakpaw wagged. "Yes!" She smiled. Her heart was pounding.

Dipping her head in thanks to the other medicine wolf ravensky slunk out of the medicine den and made her way out of the main cave that their dens were in. she was very impressed how these misfits had been able to make a clan. her eyes fixed on direstar before she turned and made her way out of the camp. her pads aching.

Dragonpaw stared up at Direstar with wide brown eyes. she shook her pelt and replied with pure joy "i do direstar!". Her paws trembled with excitement, she was going to be a warrior now!.

Direstar smiled down at the two apprentices, "Then, by the powers of StarClan, I give you your warrior name. Streakpaw, from this moment you will be known as Streakfire. StarClan honors your loyalty and perseverance, and we welcome you as a full member of Sunclan.". Direstar leapt down off the stump and rested his head on streakfires before he leapt up onto the stump and continued the ceremonies. "Then, by the powers of StarClan, I give you your warrior name. Dragonpaw, from this moment you will be known as Dragonheart. StarClan honors your Kindness and compassionnateness, and we welcome you as a full member of Sunclan!". He leapt down and rested his head on dragonhearts head before leaping back up to the stump. he flicked his tail and said "with new warriors there are new apprentices, tealpup and moonpup please step forward." once they had done so direstar continued "From this moment, until they has earned their warrior names, these apprentice shall be known as Tealpaw and Moonpaw. Dragonheart and Shadowstorm, you will be mentor to these apprentices. You are true and trusted warriors, and I hope you will pass this knowledge to your new apprentice"

Dragonheart the newly named warrior beamed as she was given her warrior name. she glanced over at streakfire and grinned. she stared over at oakthorn with loathing before she glanced at tealpaw and touched her nose to the new apprentices nose.

Tealpaw watched everything go fairly fast, and before she knew it, she was an apprentice. Yipping with glee, the newly appointed apprentice saw Dragonheart appear and touched her nose (I think.) and smiled. So that was her mentor now. Until she had her warrior name, she promised herself to be the best warrior ever. "Dragonheart!" she squealed, and couldn't wait to start training.
