River

Nightpup smiled. "The last time I checked, I'm half timber wolf and half eurasian wolf."he laughed. The male smiled. He barked at the moon instead of howled.

She swept her tail over his mouth hearing a scream coming from sunclan camp. "come on Nightpup! somethings not right!" she began awkwardly staggering off, her gait becomming more smooth as she began a light canter. her little paws throwing up a little dust.

Nightpup perked his ears. "That's Miss Tigerfern..."he murmured. The male chased. He worried about what came.

-Camp-

Gentleheart arrived at the River and sat down, taking in the view. she told Russetwind she wanted to talk to him, but she didnt know where to start. she walked to the water's edge and got a drink of the ice cold water. she rolled over onto her back looking up at the sky.

The male trotted up, splashing into the water he blew out bubbles as he ducked his head into the water. his tail stuck up in a curved sickle shape over his back. after cooling himself down he moved over to her and tilted her head "you wanted to talk to me honeybunch?"

Gentleheart watched him splash in the water. she smiled at him, she inhaled deeply building up her confience. " yes Russetwind i did want to talk to you." "i want to tell you that i think that you are a very kind, handsome, and fair wolf." "and i have aslo notice that you are rather flirtatious, but i really like you." "you are a warrior but you dont go around boasting and abusing younger ones, i know you would fight to protect our clan in a heartbeat." "but you dont go around picking fights, and i really like that about you." "so i guess i really just wanted to tell you all of this, and you dont have to say anything or promise anything but i wanted you to know how i feel." Gentleheart then looked down in embarrassment after just confessing.

His ears cocked forward hearing her words, he pondered them before he said softly "I can see why they call you Gentleheart, I guess you could say ive been paying so much attention to you because yes... i like you as well. i may always flirt with other females but my heart will always return to you sweetling"

Gentleheart lifted her head and looked into Russetwind's pretty green eyes. she couldnt believe what she heard, "really?" she asked in disbelief. "and i know that flirting is just in your blood, its who you are, and i would never ask you to change who you are. " "i like you just the way you are."

He smiled moving around so his side was next to hers, his fur mingling with hers a little he rubbed his head against hers in a form of a hug. "oh Gentleheart, you have my heart, ill always return to you, if i die before you then when you pass i will be the one guiding you to starclan. You are wise and calm, a perfecter wolf i never saw". The compliments just tumbled out of his mouth, the more he thought about Gentleheart the more infatuated he became.

She rubbed her head against his. "Thank you for the compliment, but please dont talk about you dying early." "that scares me." she didnt want to think about him dying. "and i see one right beside me." she said winking. she had never really flirted before but she was catching on.

He chuckled and licked her ear "come one darling bumblebee let us go for a run" he began loping along the river bank. enjoying the coolness from the water. a grin was over his face he felt like he was floating. like he could do anything.

Gentleheart ran beside Russetwind. she almost couldnt believe that this was happening. Russetwind made her have more confidence in her own judgments and in herself. she was also learning how it felt to be cared for. she stopped her running and sat down. "Russetwind im kinda tired, do you mind if we head back to camp, i would like to rest?" she was having so much fun, but was really tired.

He turned and trotted over to her, he touched his black nose to hers and said in his husky voice "come on then, lets go. hopefully Ripplestar will hold the Deputy Ceremony soon!" he smiled his green eyes shining like minature stars. he walked toward camp

She licked his muzzle and followed him back to camp. she wondered who Ripplestar was going to chose. her tail wagged in excitement. it will probably be Pinedusk, she thought to herself. she took one more look at the pretty view and hurried after Russetwind.
camp

Fernshade slowly padded past the raging river. Her head was held low,and her eyes were down cast. She bit her lip. I hate my father and mother. Why did they have to die. She sat down and watched the pebbles below her. She pinned the ears to her head and sunk her claws deeply into them. She felt something wet fall on her face. She growled and dug her claws even deeper.

A tiny pup blinked his orange eyes and tilted his head, how curious he thought to himself. He got up and walked over his orangy brown paw standing out against his flame coloured pelt. He stared at the brown warrior with no fear in his eyes as he said "you look angry, why are you crying" his voice was sullen his eyes watched her almost acusingly.

Fernshade snarled. She turned and stalked away. "Nothing to tell kid. Not anymore...." She sucked up her tears and climbed up a tree. Her back turned.
Her ears waved in the wind,and her claws flexed. She outstretched them,and they cut into the branch she was slitting on.

The orange and orangy brown pup tilted his head and watched her with sharp eyes. He huffed and said in his sullen strong voice "you still look angry. Im Lavapup, you are Fernshade, daughter of the deceased Direstar". his brown ear flicked back listening to the sounds of the river before he let his fur lie flat.

Fernshade growls and unsheathed her claws. She turned to the pup. Her feet in mid-air for a few seconds. Till she landed back on the branch again. She barred her teeth,and lifted her head. Letting the light catch off of them. Her yellow eyes turned to black shadows. "Go. Now." Her nose crinkled. Waiting for the puny pup to run back to camp.

The bright orange and brown pup glared at the warrior "No!" his temper began bubbling. His eyes turned almost into boiling pools of lava. he bared his teeth in a vicious snarl and yelled "fine i dont care if you are upset. not like you are gonna tell me nothing anyways!"

A pup appeared in the river. She scrabbled onto land. She saw another pup. "Hi I am um..um.. I don't know who I am." She had hit her head on a rock.

Creekfire panted furiously, travelling up the river bed. Geez. Traveling to SunClan is much farther than I thought it would be. He had dashed after Aprilpup, watching where she went, even when she had smashed into a boulder. Paws aching from the rough earth, he collapsed, heaving in breaths. He had no idea that Aprilpup and the two other SunClan wolves were just around the bend, although he could probably see Fernshade if he bothered to look up.

The pup saw a wolf came running. She was scared of him. She growled not knowing that he had been in her old clan. She stood with the other two wolves.

Fernshade was about to snap back at the pup,only to see Stormclanners on the land. She landed on the ground quickly,standing between Lava colored pup and the Stormclan pup. "Stay back. Lay one claw on him." She growled and barred her teeth. "And I'll rip you to shreds." She sorted and bunched up her muscles,lashing out her tail. "Get. Out. Of. My. Territory."

Snowstorm ran up, taking large bounds. He ran past Creekfire and stopped, looking around. He spotted a SunClan wolf threatening the pup that had fallen into the river. The large white deputy jumped between Aprilpup and the warrior, growling. "What do you think you're doing!?" He barked angrily. "This just a pup. She has done nothing to you." Snowstorm stood there firmly, ready to fight if needed.
