Abandoned Twoleg Nest

Streakpaw follows Oakthorn out of the basement and outside of the nest. The air was fresher and cleaner than the one inside the nest. She yawns. "Hi Featherpaw." She sits beside Oakthorn.

Oakthorn cast a glance down at streakpaw as she came over and sat beside him, unused to other wolves wanting to be around him he shuffled his paws slightly awkwardly. he flicked his tail and rested it over his paws to hide their awkward shifting. he sneezed a little from the dust still in his nostrils. his yellow eyes fixed themselves back on his brother.

She sensed slight tension, but she ignored it. "So, when are we going somewhere else?" She looks around. "I would like to see more of the territory!"

Oakthorn flicked his tail and thought for a few moments before he said "what about the stunted forest? thats a good place to look around and also practise hunting skills". his yellow eyes turned and watched the apprentice, a slight question in his burning yellow eyes. he twitched his oaken ears and gave her a rare smile.

"Sure, I like hunting! Maybe we could practice fighting there to!" She looks at Oakthorn. She did not know that his smiles were rare. She smiled back.

Shadowstorm nodded to his brother and looked at them. "Stunted forest would be good. I remember during training, Direstar and I fought off a mountain lion." He said, bragging and not bragging at the same time.

Oakthorn chuckled and said "i could easily take a mountain lion brother, out of us i got the brawn while you got the brains". he grinned before his face returned to its cold state and he turned. with a flick of his tail he began bounding off towards the marshy forest that was unique to sunclan.

Streakpaw looks at shadowstorm. "Lets go! I hope we find a mountain lion there!" She dashes otu to the stunted forest.

Dragonpaw nodded, yawning a little, her small mouth making a noise as she yawned. she shook out her cream pelt and turned bounding off to camp. her longish legs carrying her with ease over the land. her pelt blew along as she ran

Shadowstorm had decided to go back to camp. He had to tell Direstar of Streakpaw being ready to be a warrior. His eyes lit up with pride. He had yet to realize about Oakthorn and his apprentice however.

-Camp-

Ripplestone padded up and sat down infront of the old creaking nest. her ears listened intently for any sign of mice, or worse rats. mice werent a problem and would have been good for hunting exersice however rats in large groups could kill wolves. her ears flattened a little at this but she still listened intently.

Ripplestone smiled kindly and said "its a two leg nest, two legs are great big pink things that make lots of noise and are always a hindrance to us. this is their nest, so kind of like our cave at camp but made of well anything the two legs can find". she smiled "within this one is prey like mice and rats, also its a good place to hide from something". she flicked her long white plumed tail and curled it around her paws. "go ahead and investigate"

Ripplestone watched him with her bright blue eyes, she wondered if he would use the undergrowthto practise his sneaking. she flicked her tail over her cold paws and watched patiently. her black backed ears perked with intrest. she scented the smell of rain and gave a slight huff she disliked the rain.

Ripplestone smiled with pride and said "we can take that back to camp and place it on the fresh kill pile, well done Pinepaw! why dont we go to the waterfall next? its a good place to try fishing from and also its very beautiful". she felt a tug in her heart pulling her back toward stoatblaze. she had loved him since she was a pup... and now she was goin to have his pups. she gave a half smile before she turned and lead the way to the waterfall.

Direstar appeared and scented the air, hmm Ripplestone and Pinepaw had been here recently. he sat down and directed his attention to the abandoned two leg nest. hopefully there were no rats, and if there were well he supposed they could always add those to the fresh kill pile. he himself prefered Rabbits and hares but there werent as many of those in sunclan territory. plenty of nimble deer though.

Honeyfrost approached the abbondoned Twoleg nest shortly after Direstar and gazed up at it cautiously. She had never been found of these strange, stone monuments and the way every nook and crany seemed to hold a new and unexpected surprise. Nevertheless, she had to admit, she would definatly prefer to be here, standing before this abbondonded nest, than before a fully occupied one. The stale scents of Ripplestone and Pinepaw drifted towards her as she padded forward still, examining the nest closely with wide, expectant eyes.
