ThunderClan Camp

Subject: ThunderClan Camp Sat Nov 03, 2012 7:43 pm

First topic message reminder :

The camp entrance is well hidden by brambles, which protect the camp from predators, but doesn't stop sunshine from coming in. A ravine leads through it. This ravine was once a river, but it is now dried up. The way into the camp is through the gorse tunnel. The nursery has thick bramble walls and is the most guarded part of the camp. Behind a tree stump, there is a clump of ferns where the apprentices sleep. Warriors sleep under a bush in another tunnel. Inside the camp, there is a fallen tree where the elders sleep, and the senior warriors sleep in the center of the camp. Across the clearing, a smooth tall rock resides. This is called the Highrock, and the leader stands there to make important speeches.The leader's den is in a cave in the rock which was carved out by an ancient stream. Lichen covers the entrance.The last notable feature in the camp is a fern tunnel that leads to a crack in a rock. This is the medicine wolf's den.

Flicking her tail, Jaystreak watched the clan closely. Observing each and every wolf was very important and took much time. It was an advantage for her to hide amongst the fern bushes. But, each wolf gave her more interest to stay in position and watch.

Streakpaw looks around. Maybe i could do a bit of hunting?But dont I need a warrior with me? I guess i'll wait for a warrior to come. She sits and waits by the camp entrance.

Featherpaw stifiled a chuckle as Evieshine nosed her way into Silverpup's hiding spot. Her sharp black eyes studied the ferns, hardly swishing at all, and detected a flash of white fur. If the pup's anything like me, she'll be able to slip out and dash to a safer place, the fae thought. Her tail continuing to gently sway, she watched the commotion.

Rising himself Phoenixstar padded out of the leaders den and glanced over at jaystreak. with a kind look in his saddened eyes he padded over to her and gave her a nudge "would you like to come on a hunting trip with me jaystreak" he needed something to do. something to keep his mind off rainstar.

Seeing phoenixstar again,she padded up to him. "Phoenixstar,when will you take care of those small twoleggeds in the sandy hollow? I know you busy." She looked down and shuffled her paws. "But you have to take care of your clan." She looked back up. With a glint of despair in her eye. "Even if you are torn by....love." She then nodded to him. "Good luck hunting then." She then turned and headed back to the warriors den. Flicking her tail as she went.

Blinking his eyes he said "oops i had forgotten about that" twitching his tail his gaze cast around the clan, padding into the middle he said clearly "jaystreak, Hawkpool, icepaw and mosseypaw, i want you to come with me on a patrol to the sandyhollow, there have been reports of tiny two legs" he glanced over at firespell and said "take care of camp while im gone" he turned and padded out heading to the sandy hollow

She nodded,then looked at her camp. I hope i come back. And within a blink of an eye. She vanished into the brush below. A shadow hidden from the sunlight

Icepaw followed them, her eyes hid what she was truly feeling. Her nose was on alert and her eyes scanned around. Her ears were perked up an all was relatively okay for once. She followed them to the Sandy Hollow.

Featherpaw watched as Phoenixstar lead a patrol out to Sandy Hollow. Standing up, she called to Evieshine, who was still snuffling around in the ferns. "Sorry! Gotta prepare for any injuries!" the black fae called, padding into the Medicine Den. Reaching in the back of the store, she pulled out several piles of herbs and began seperating them into piles.

Whipping around, Firespell nodded to Phoenixstar. "You can rely on me. Good luck." She looked around the camp,eyes roving over the few wolves that remained. The firey female walked over to Streakpaw and sat down beside her. I wish I could have gone too, but who would look after the camp then? She sighed and then smiled, snow peppering her firey pelt.

(My character is leaving tomorrow, and she made a rp present for you ^^)

"Oh, Firespell, i made a present for you! I'm leaving in a day or two." She says. She runs to the apprentices den. She gets a Stick with feathers stuck around it on the two ends, the middle is where you carry it. She runs to firespell. "Here." She says. She smiles.

Firespell looked down and smiled. " Thank you, Streakpaw, it's lovely." She took it admiring the feathers. "I'll miss you when you go", she said. The firey wolf looked down at her apprentice with soft amber eyes.

"Ah well, Do you want to do something fun?" Firespell put the sad thoughts about Streakpaw aside and smiled at her. There's not many wolves left in the camp. She picked up the stick in her mouth and looked around.

"I know, hide and seek. You hide and I will try and find you and then we swap." And I'll keep an eye on everyone else while we do it, thought Firespell privately. She put a paw over her eyes.

Streakpaw nods. She runs into the closest tree. " She wont find me up here." She says in a whisper. She climbs up as high as she could go. She will never. She smiles.

Firespell put her paw down and narrowed her eyes. The firey wolf searched the nests and the rest of the camp. She stopped for a moment. Where can Streakpaw be? She looked up at the trees above her and smiled.

Streakpaw makes her breathing slow and steady. She hopes she will not be seen. She looks down at Firespell. You can never find me.

Firespell sprang into Hawkpool's tree and leapt up from branch to branch. The firey wolf slipped a bit on one branch but found her grip again and moved on. Firespell stopped in the toppermost boughs and stared hard at the other trees. She couldn't see any flicker of brown among the leaves. She called, "All right, Streakpaw, where are you?"

Streakpaw barks. Then she jumps in another tree. She slips but catches her grip. This is fun

Laughing as she spotted Streakpaw jump into the tree next to her, Firespell concentrated on a branch of the neighbouring tree below her and then leapt. She plummeted down and just about landed on the branch. Hopping along, Firespell came to where Streakpaw was. "I like this!" she whispered. "It reminds me of when I was a pup."

Streakpaw smiles. She sits and howls a beautiful sounding howl. When she was a pup... Those words stayed in her mind.

Firespell too sat down and howled. She listened to their eerie yet entrancing howling. "Would you like me to tell me some of the things that I've experienced as a pup, Streakpaw?" she asked. I've had plenty of excitement, to be so.

"Sure!" Streakpaw exclaimed. "But first lets get out of the tree." She says and jumps out of a branch onto the ground.
