First topic message reminder :

The camp entrance is well hidden by brambles, which protect the camp from predators, but doesn't stop sunshine from coming in. A ravine leads through it. This ravine was once a river, but it is now dried up. The way into the camp is through the gorse tunnel. The nursery has thick bramble walls and is the most guarded part of the camp. Behind a tree stump, there is a clump of ferns where the apprentices sleep. Warriors sleep under a bush in another tunnel. Inside the camp, there is a fallen tree where the elders sleep, and the senior warriors sleep in the center of the camp. Across the clearing, a smooth tall rock resides. This is called the Highrock, and the leader stands there to make important speeches.The leader's den is in a cave in the rock which was carved out by an ancient stream. Lichen covers the entrance.The last notable feature in the camp is a fern tunnel that leads to a crack in a rock. This is the medicine wolf's den.

Feathersoul... the black fae thought. I love it! The small fae pricked her ears, her jay feather earring fluttering as a breeze caught it. "Emberpaw! Emberpaw!" she greeted the new apprentice. She dug into the depths of her mind, fishing out her pup-hood. She remembered the day of her ceremony, sitting proud and tall, so excited. That was ended all to quickly. She had felt a bond for the Medicine Den, and she didn't stay Hawkpool's apprentice for long. I wonder when I'll get my own apprentice...

Runningpaw cast his gaze to Feathersoul. "Congradulations, Feathersoul!" He barked and trotted up to the new TC medcine wolf. He wgged his tail. He then went off to Congradulate Emberpaw.

Feathersoul gazed down at Runningpaw. "Thank's Runningpaw!" she yipped, but the apprentice was already over at Emberpaw's side. They look cute together, she thought, unable to choke down a chuckle. She tentively pressed her hind-leg to the ground, feeling no pain. Trotting on all four legs, she padded over to Firespell's side. "You want me to treat your wounds now?" the new Medicine Wolf asked, her head cocked to the side.

The firey female smiled. There's apprentices for you! She gazed at the places where pools of blood had been but were now covered with earth. He's certainly been busy, Firespell thought and chuckled softly. Turning to the new medicine wolf, "Yes, I would like you to."

Runningpaw trotted over to where Emberpaw was. "Congradulations Emberpaw!" He barked." He noticed that her wound looked much better. "Caprina looks like a wonderful mentor. I'm sure you'll have lots of fun!" He barked.

Nodding, Feathersoul padded into the Medicine Den. She bundled up some cobwebs and the few scraps of marigold, goldenrod, willow bark, and raspberry leaves. She squeezed out of the den, stopping beside Firespell. "So what exactly do you need me to treat?" she mumbled around the jaw-full of leaves, her expertly trained black eyes trailing along the deputy's flank in search of wounds.

Emberpaw's fluffy tail wagged with pleasure as Runningpaw approached. "Thanks! You to!" she yipped. "Do you want to train together? It would be really fun!" The russet apprentice hoped that their mentors would let them. It seemed like fun being able to train with your friend.

"These cuts on my shoulders are the worst. A coyote jumped on me", replied Firespell, standing very still. Her paws had already stopped hurting and would be ok. The firey wolf's ears twitched as she heard Emberpaw's words.

Nodding, Feathersoul dropped the herbs. Sorting through them, she chewed up the Marigold. Better save the Goldenrod for worse wounds she thought. After chewing it into a poultice, the Medicine Wolf spat it out onto her paw, smearing it over the gashes in Firespell's shoulders. After coating them in the herb, she draped a few cobwebs over them, hoping it would keep most the infection out. Grabbing some catchweed, she rolled the ends of it over the poultice, the burrs sticking to the firery deputy's shoulders and keeping the poultice from being rubbed off. "Done! Here, take some Willow bark in case you start to hurt. I have plenty of it, since there are so many trees around."

Firespell nodded and took the willow bark. "Thank you, Feathersoul", she said. Suddenly she remembered something. Taking a few quick paces, she went to the bushes beside the rock and came out with her feathered stick. The firey wolf walked back and dropped it at her feet. Firespell rolled it over and over, it was cheering her up.

Featherpaw watched as Firespell thanked her, then backed away into the bushes. The firey fae reappeared a few seconds later, holding a feathery stick. She dropped it, rolling it around with her paws. The Medicine Wolf felt Firespell become lighter, happier, although she had no idea what it had to do with a stick with feathers attached. Shrugging it off, her black eyes scanned the camp, looking for any more wounds she needed to treat.

Smiling,she cheered,and heard her old apprentice being named. She then bounded after the new mentor and medicine wolf. She sat down. "Congratulations Firespell. I hope you train that apprentice well." She then looked at Featherpaw. No Feathersoul. She opened her mouth to say something. But she hesitated. Why isn't Echosong here? She sighed and looked at the medicine wolf. "Congratulations,i hope you will do well on being a medicine wolf." She then flicked her tail,then she set her tail on her back. "I..I'm proud of you."

The firey fae nodded, smiling. "I will, Hawkpool. As well as I did with Streakpaw." She placed her paws over her stick and looked around. The white warrior was busy congratulating Feathersoul on being made a medicine wolf. Yes, well done Feathersoul.

Feathersoul's small body swelled with pride as her old mentor congratulated her. "Thank you," the black fae said. She sniffed along Hawkpool's flank, picking up the scent of blood, although she couldn't tell if it was wolf or coy. "Hawkpool? Do you mind if I have a look at your wounds?" the Medicine Wolf asked, searching for scratches or gashes that needed treatment.

Glancing at Firespell,then at Feathersoul,she hesitated. She then nodded. "Ok,but, i don't think its infected." She slowly turned,and she turned to see it. She felt it sting for the first time,and she flinched. But then just took a deep breath,and looked forward.

Nodding, the Medince Wolf spotted the gash that Hawkpool had pointed out. Chewing up a tad bit of the Goldenrod and finishing off the Marigold, she spread the poultice over the wound. Seeing Hawkpool's face twisted in what looked like pain, sh epawed a chunk of Willow Bark towards her. "Here, eat this. It will help with the pain," she smiled.
