ThunderClan Camp

Subject: ThunderClan Camp Sat Nov 03, 2012 7:43 pm

First topic message reminder :

The camp entrance is well hidden by brambles, which protect the camp from predators, but doesn't stop sunshine from coming in. A ravine leads through it. This ravine was once a river, but it is now dried up. The way into the camp is through the gorse tunnel. The nursery has thick bramble walls and is the most guarded part of the camp. Behind a tree stump, there is a clump of ferns where the apprentices sleep. Warriors sleep under a bush in another tunnel. Inside the camp, there is a fallen tree where the elders sleep, and the senior warriors sleep in the center of the camp. Across the clearing, a smooth tall rock resides. This is called the Highrock, and the leader stands there to make important speeches.The leader's den is in a cave in the rock which was carved out by an ancient stream. Lichen covers the entrance.The last notable feature in the camp is a fern tunnel that leads to a crack in a rock. This is the medicine wolf's den.

(Just enter I'm,just say you say dead coyotes,and Caprina came back.
Also Emberpup is injured and in the medicine den)

Glancing at Firespell she nodded. Then she glanced at the slow rise and fall of the Emberpup's chest. She softly nudged her. "You'll be fine." She then stood up,and bit her lip. I hope so at least. She quickly added to herself.
She then picked up a body by the stuff,and swung one onto her back. Feeling the dripping blood stain her white pelt.

Featherpaw glanced up. She saw a bloody bundle of fur lying limply on her back. Worried, the black fae stood up stiffly and her sprained hind leg clutched against her stomach as she hobbled over to the Medicine Den. She saw Emberpup lying on the ground, a Marigold poultice and some cobwebs quickly slopped over her wounds. She was bleeding slowly from a gash in her neck, but steadly. Bending her neck down, she sniffed the russet pup, worried. The salty smell of blood filled her nose, but, thankfully, the sour smell of infection was not included in the party. Scraping off the bloody cobwebs, she pressed down a glob of cobwebs over the wound, stopping the bleeding and soaking up the blood.

Runningpup sighed in relief as Emberpup awoke. "Thank Starclan!" He muttered. He cocked his head at Emberpup "Are you alright Emberpup?" He asked.

*Scratch looked at the mangled pup.* Feather is doing what she can to heal Ember. *He thought about how he and his crush had been badly maimed. Both of them had managed to survive. As he thought about this, he uttered a single sentence:*She'll be alright.

The firey wolf busied her self with dragging the heavy carcass of a coyote to the tunnel entrance and out. Looking back, she saw that everyone else was gathered around Emberpup who was being treated by Featherpaw. I do hope she will be ok, Emberpup looks bad.Firespell shook her head to clear it of gloomy thoughts and went on.

Emberpup opened her vibrant orange eyes at Featherpaw. The black fae limped in, favoring one of her hind-legs. A Medicine Wolf fought? the russet pup thought. She yelped in pain as the cobwebs were pulled from her wound, but she relaxed as the apprentice pressed more onto her neck wound. Sighing as the pain ebbed, she turned her head, finding Runningpup standing next to her. Her fluffy russet-and-black-flecked tail thumped against the ground, happy to have a compainion. "I'm doing fine. I feel much better now, although my next still hurts."

Firespell padded into view, new vigour and energy gained from her little dip in the river. She went straight up to Hawkpool and gave her a nod. "Another coyote in the hole." The firey female then remembered the injured pup and turned towards her. "I'm glad you're all right, Emberpup", the firey wolf said, smiling.

Wind looked over at the pup and licked her ear, "Don't worry, you'll be fine." then spotting Firlespell, he smiled and nuged her. "You must be tired, rest with the others, I'll help drag the bodies to sunning rocks." he said gently.

The firey wolf didn't need an invitation to sit down, she sat rather quickly down. The scratches on her flank stung as she smiled back at Windstorm and winced slightly. "Thank you", Firespell said. At least, my wounds are superficial, not so bad.

Wind bent over her and licked her wounds. "Are you sure you're going to be alright?" he asked as be began cleaning them with gentle licks. Then he gave her ear a lick. i'll bring the bodies to sunning rocks. picking up of the bodies easily, he begawn making his way to sunning rocks.

Glancing at the Firespell and Wind,she blinked. Is something going on? She then shrugged,and gave a nod to Firespell. "Well,lets haul the rest of them out." She flicked her tail.

Gazing at Emberpup he just nodded his head. "Just stay here and rest, Emberpup." Runningpup said. "I'm sure you'll heal very soon." His ears twitched as he heard rustling outside in the clearing. "I'm going to go see if I can help outside." He barked. He then compassionatly licked Emberpup on the ear before trotting outside the den. He snorted in disgust as he gazed around the camp. The camp was scattred with dead coyotes and thier blood. Most of the warriors were already taking away the coy bodies. He noticed a small pool of coy blood on the ground. "Not a pretty sight, that's for sure!" He thought. "Maybe I should bury that." Runningpup trotted over and began to cover the puddle with dirt.

She nodded and took a deep breath. Then she stood up and took another corpse out, feeling disgusted by the feel of it. The camp is a battleground, nearly everyone is wounded and Featherpaw's got to tend to everybody! she thought. Firespell smiled. The camp would soon be clear of these creatures at the rate we're going.

Phoenixstar flicked his tail and turned, he leapt up onto the rock in the middle of the camp and said "let all wolves who are old enough to catch their own prey gather here under the rock for a clan meeting". his gaze swept over his clan, pride blooming in his chest. he glanced at caprina with a look of love before he continued watching the rest of his clan.

Firespell bounded back into the camp, feeling alright with the world again. Her wounds were aching as much and would heal and ThunderClan was safe for a moment from the coyotes. She heard Phoenixstar and immediately padded up to the rock and sat down. The firey wolf cocked her ears at Windstorm, asking him to join her.

Runnngpup grunted in satisfaction at the earth. That was the third pool of blood he had buried. Although he was disgusted by them, he knew that the camp had to be cleaned as fast as possible. He glanced up as Phoenixstar made an announcement. He stretched and walked over to where the Great rock was. He sat down near it and waited for what his leader would have to say.

Phoenixstar smiled down faintly and said
" From this moment, until he has earned his warrior name, this apprentice shall be known as Runningpaw. Firespell, you will be mentor to this apprentice. You are a true and trusted warrior, and I hope you will pass this knowledge to your new apprentice."
. he then turned his gaze to emberpup, his orange eyes glittering as he waited for her to come out of the nursery. His gaze turned to featherpaw and he said
"featherpaw, you have trained in the ways of a medicine wolf. do you swear to heal all wolves equally?"
His orange eyes glittered with a feirce pride.

Featherpaw limped out of the Medicine Den as she heard Phoenixstar's call, summoning them beneath the Highrock. "Runningpaw! Runningpaw!" the black fae called, sitting down. Her black eyes widened as she heard Phoenixstar ask her the words that were used by Clan Leaders, passed down from generation to generation. Her voice strong, she promised. "I do."

Runningpaw's eyes widened in shock. He had known that he was nearly 6 moons old. But he had totally forgotten about it until now. Quivering, Runningpaw stepped forward to touch noses with his mentor, Firespell. He smiled at Featherpaw's cheer.

The firey wolf touched noses with her new apprentice, grinning. "Runningpaw! Runningpaw!" she called, feeling both excitement and surprise inside. Featherpaw's becoming a medicine wolf! She cocked her ears, waiting to hear more as she smiled down at Runningpaw.

Hearing Phoenixstar bark, his voice echoing around the camp, she gathered herself. She got to her paws, her wound not stinging as badly and her strength returning. She trotted out into the camp, sitting down a little ways away from Runningpaw. "Runningpaw! Runningpaw!" she yipped, her fluffy russet tail thumping the earth in excitement. I do, she heard the Medicine Wolf apprentice say, her voice confident. I wonder who my mentor will be! she thought. Maybe it will be Phoenixstar! That would be so great! Or perhaps Caprina! She looks like she would be fun to train with! Ooh! I can't wait!

Phoenixstar said "then in the name of starclan and all of the medicine wolves that have been in thunderclan i name you Feathersoul, may you heal many wolves". he leapt down and gently placed his muzzle on the medicine wolfs head. he then turned and leapt back up onto the rock.
"emberpup you are six moons old so From this moment, until you have earned your warrior name, your name shall be apprentice shall be known as Emberpaw. Caprina, you will be mentor to this apprentice. You are a true and trusted warrior, and I hope you will pass this knowledge to your new apprentice.". he nodded then leapt off his rock and turned staring out of the camp. his orange eyes glittering softly.

I'm an apprentice! Emberpaw could hardly control her excitement. Leaping to her paws, she dashed across the clearing, skidding to a stop in front of Caprina. The russet pup's vibrant orange eyes stared up at her new mentor, her tail wagging with pleasure. "Hi Caprina!" she barked, bending over to touch noses with the fae.

"Feathersoul! Feathersoul! Emberpaw! Emberpaw!" Runningpaw barked. He touched noses with his mentor, Firespell. And felt a burst of happiness rise in him.

"Emberpaw! Feathersoul!" barked Firespell. She was happy for Feathersoul, being made a full medicine wolf. Also for Emberpaw and Runningpaw, the two new apprentices. I'm happy to have an apprentice again, she thought, thinking for a moment of Streakpaw. The firey wolf wondered how she was but she was jolted back into the world by Emberpaw's happy words to Caprina.
