Fourtrees #7

Fourtrees is a group of four tall oak trees that the Clan wolves have held their Gatherings at since the early days of the Clans. Fourtrees is described as neutral territory, and is often used when wolves from different Clans want to meet outside a Gathering. There is a large rock in the middle of Fourtrees called the Great Rock.The Clan leaders use it to look down on the Clans and share their news during Gatherings. Also, there is a small opening in the rock with a space big enough for many small pups to fit into.

Snowflower arrived at the four trees. "I guess I'm the first to arrive."she murmured. With the four trees covered in snow, the sight was just as beautiful as the one at the outlook rock. She stood there and gazed at the trees.

Direstar appeared, his red coat making him stand out. he gave a comfortable bark at snowflower greeting one of his oldest friends. he padded up to her and gave her a lick over the ear. he was allowed to show affection toward windclan as they were allied now. he gave a gentle smile then leapt up onto the high rock..

Tallfeather trotted into the clearing a few moments after Snowflower, having seen her left the camp and figuring it was time for the gathering. For a while, he marveled at the beauty of Four Trees coated in snow, and as much as Tallfeather disliked winter, he had to admit that it was beautiful. The Windclan wolf found a place and sat down, using his body to clear the top layer of the snow in a little circle. Patiently, he waited for more wolves to arrive -- and not one in particular. Though just the thought send shards of pain digging into him, Tallfeather had given up on Skyfeather. It had been over two moons since they'd last seen each other, even had contact or heard the others name. Tallfeather had gone ahead to decide the she-wolf had forgotten about him, and he'd pushed her out of his mind. He hoped she wouldn't be here tonight.

Oakthorn padded into camp and flicked his ears around, it had been moons since he had last been at fourtrees. Sunclan was three moons old and already the nursery was full of pups. he smiled a little and sat down in the snow. digging himself a sort of snow den.

Snowflower gave a bark back. "Hello."she smiled. Watching as Dire padded to the rocks. She looked around. "Tallfeather and Oakthorn." she said. "Well, now we wait."she chuckled.

Streakfire padded in. "Hello!" She said, and ran to Oakthorn. "How does Shadowstorm think of me being your mate?" She said. "And I've been thinking about something... Do you want to hear what I've been thinking of?"

Thistlepup raced down the slope as fast as his tiny legs and paws could carry him. His ears and head were rather large and it was a wonder that he was not top heavy and fell forward every time he stood still. Pushing the morbid thoughts of his mother behind, the male pup ran towards the large rock in the middle. He stood on his hind legs and pushed himself upward, attempting to scrabble on top of its slippery surface. Realizing this was a lost cause, he reclined backwards and lost his balance, falling into a particularly deep section of snow. It melted around him and he felt the uncomfortable feeling of water in his fur. Shaking because of the cold, his head popped out just enough to see his father. Racing out of the drift, he ran towards an opening he found in the rock and disappeared inside.

Oakthorn sat up and licked his mates cheek "what he thinks dosent matter, all that matters is you and me...". he chuckled noticing thistlepup. he had a feeling that thistlepup was going to cause all kinds of mayhem tonight. he shivered then snuggled close into his mates fur. "what were you thinking about my love?"

Skyfeather wandered until she stumbled into a clearing. There were only about seven wolves sitting around in it and a large rock in the center. Her eyes were wide as she looked around it. She suddenly remembered that there were three other Clans that lived around here and they met up every full moon. Sky blinked away the thought, her eyes becoming more relaxed as she realized there was a truce. Slowly and carefully, the she-wolf began to make her way around the outskirts of the clearing but she didn't get far before tripping over a tan male laying in the snow.

"Well... I've been thinking how you would react if we have pups of our own?" She said. She shivered at the thought of the dream she had earlier today. "Also, do you know any warrior that may be in the dark forest? I had a dream..." (Think of random names... I'll say StarClan said that they were her parents. NOT a prophecy or anyhing though)

Tallfeather grunted as some wolf practically walked on top of him, then went sprawling into the snow. He hopped to his feet, mumbling a quick apology as he looked down at the wolf who had tripped. It actually took him a minute to find the wolf -- its pelt was stark white, blending in with the snow. When Tallfeather's eyes did seek out the wolf, however, he felt his heart start racing and his stomach crawled into his throat. It was the very last wolf Tallfeather had wanted to see -- Skyfeather.

For a moment, Tallfeather was silent, staring down at Skyfeather as panic overtook his mind. His paws were doing a nervous tap dance against the snow-laden ground, and he had half a mind to bolt across the clearing -- but to what avail? This was a problem he'd been struggling to avoid for moons and moons now, except it was no longer a scenario in his head, but reality slapping him in the face. His eyes suddenly deadpan and forlorn, Tallfeather choked out what few words came to mind. "Its you, isn't it?"

Oakthorn beamed "i would love to have pups of our own!". he then paused and said "i only knew of Darkdeath and Applesplinter". he said cautiously. his yellow eyes meeting hers with love and affection. he gently began grooming her. his brown pelt standing out from thesnow. He glanced over noticing Skyfeather and Tallfeather talking to each other. he frowned Skyfeathers features seemed like she didnt remember anything. he shrugged his shoulders and went back to staring into Streakfires eyes.

Streakfire smiled. "That's what I wanted to hear!" She said, and smiled. "Well..." Her head tilted a bit. She shuffled her paws.

Skyfeather let out an 'oof' as she face-planted into the snow, the frozen rain making her cold. She rolled onto her side to look up at the tan male, a retort on her tongue when she actually got a look at him. His eyes pierced her and a memory filled her thoughts.

Sky was at the border between ShadowClan and WindClan, Apachepaw's comment about her fur still nagging in her head. It wasn't her fault that she stood out in the dark Clan. The 'paw let out a frustrated huff of air and she plopped down and rolled on her back to look up at the sky. Suddenly the tall grass behind her started shaking and out stepped Tallpaw, the WindClan apprentice that she had become friends with at her first Gathering.

A smile bloomed across Skypaw's face at him, "Tallpaw!" she exclaimed, getting up to nuzzle him friendlily, "What are you doing here?"

The male shrugged, "I was passing the border and smelt you," he said with a smile in return.

The fae blinked up at the male, confused and slightly frightened by her sudden attack of memory just by seeing his face. What was he to her? "Wh-who are you?"

Tallfeather watched as Skyfeather seemed to totally blank out, her features going slack for a moment. She looked as if she were remembering something, like something important was resurfacing in her mind. When she snapped back to attention, however, her face was a mixture of confusion and fright. Tallfeather didn't know what to think - not a sliver of recognition had crossed her, and her words only confirmed that. Hurt exploded deep inside him.

So, he was right then. The she-wolf had gone ahead and forgotten about him. Tallfeather had known it would happen...but he hadn't expected such crippling pain that would overcome him. He felt like he was being crushed and beaten into the ground. Slowly, he forced himself to fixate his face in a cold, indifferent mask. He put on a nonchalant facade even if he felt like his insides were writhing and screaming, his heart pleading for escape. "Nevermind, then." He said coldly, surprising even himself. Tallfeather would have never expected himself to use that tone with the wolf he loved -- or, at least, used to love.

Skyfeather flinched back at the male's cold words. Was it really her fault that she couldn't remember anything from her past? Something in her heart twisted at the other's mask of expression. For some reason she felt hurt and the need to cry at his actions towards her. She had had a memory of the male just a few seconds ago so he must have been important to her in some way. Sky thought hard for the name that her past self had said to the wolf. Tallpaw. Was that his name? She felt that if she said that, though, she would hurt the wolf more but how else to explain? She didn't know him, not really. She was different now and even if she did regain her memories nothing would be the same. It was all about little steps.

"T-Tallpaw?" she questioned awkwardly, like the lips she talked through hadn't said that name in moons. As she spoke another tremor of pain rocked her sides, causing the she-wolf to gasp and screw her eyes shut.

(oooh the tallfeather x skyfeather thing will be even more interesting once shade finds out about the windclan/sunclan alliance :3)

Shadestar had left camp after the ceremony and trotted after the newly named warriors to the gathering. There were a couple wolves milling about, and Shadestar sighted Skyfeather speaking to Tallfeather. His tail lashed irritatedly before he remembered- Skyfeather had forgotten everything about her past, or so Ravensky said. Thus Tallfeather could not be an issue, right? He ran towards the great rock and sat down beside it, not yet leaping on top of it.

Sparrowheart arrived at the gathering, she went and sat down near the edge she came from. last time she was here, she was a pup. She still remembered that crevice in the rock. It had been her favorite place to play. She was happy now though. She was a warrior. She had a mate. There was nothing more to ask then that.

Through the pain and anger clouding his mind, Tallfeather could barely see straight, much less form a coherent thought. He was aware of Shadestar's eyes momentarily flickering between him and Skyfeather as the leader passed by them, and Tallfeather wondered just how happy the wolf would be if he knew how their relationship was now ended. Bitterly, Tallfeather looked back up at Skyfeather, training his eyes on hers and waiting for her to say something. When she finally did speak, Tallfeather wished she hadn't.

So what? Was Skyfeather toying with him now? Trying to bring up memories when they were both just stupid, naive pups, before either of them had developed any feelings towards each other that wasn't a mutual friendship? Tallfeather had always known Skyfeather to be a lot of things, but never a cruel, heartless wolf with no regard for other wolves feelings. He almost couldn't believe it was her. Tallfeather shook his head in disgust and disbelief, still trying to bury the insistent pain that swept over him in violent waves. "You're insane," He hissed, taking a step back.

Skyfeather looked at Tall with cloudy eyes, hurt mixing in. She felt hurt that the male thought that about her but why?!!! Sky wanted to howl - yell - cry in frustration about everything. Why was it so difficult to explain that she didn't know who she was? That she was sorry that she didn't remember him but it wasn't she to blame!

Her frustration quickly became anger and she got up, ignoring the pain to glare at Tall, "Well I am so sorry that I don't remember who you are!" she yelled, not caring who heard her. "I don't remember anyone or anything! I know my name and just your face! AND IT'S TOO MUCH!" As soon as the last syllable left her mouth Sky realized that her eyes were watery and everything was blurry again. With a final glare at Tall she turned around and stomped off, her breath coming out in pants at the wasted energy.

Hearing a large yell,entering the clearing,she sat down. She watched the fight unfold between Tallfeather and some other white wolf. She blinked and sighed. If i ask that would make it worse. She shook her head. "But he needs to be comforted." Racing over to Tallfeather,she sat down. "H..How is everything,Tallfeather"?

Okamipup trotted into camp in time to see skyfeather yell at tallfeather. her fur bristled up and she barked at skyfeathers back "YOU STAY AWAY FROM TALLFEATHER YOU SLY SHEMALE". proud of her insult okamipup trotted over to tallfeather and snuggled into his fur licking his side.

Seeing a white pup with red markings yell at Skyfeather,she blinked. Then shook her head. Windclan seems a little cranky. I wonder whats going on. She shrugged,and glanced at the pup,and nodded. "Hello,I'm Hawkpool,you are?"

Snowflower perked her ears to the ruckus. "Tallfeather? Skyfeather?"she thought to herself. Snowy watched as Hawkpool and Okamipup went over. She padded over to them with a frown. "Tallfeather? Skyfeather? What's going on?"she asked.
