Fourtrees #1

Fourtrees is a group of four tall oak trees that the Clan wolves have held their Gatherings at since the early days of the Clans. Fourtrees is described as neutral territory, and is often used when wolves from different Clans want to meet outside a Gathering. There is a large rock in the middle of Fourtrees called the Great Rock.The Clan leaders use it to look down on the Clans and share their news during Gatherings

He arrived at the top of the hill, blinking his golden eyes. Shadestar blended into the shadows and crouched, observing his surroundings. None of the other Clans had made it yet, by the looks. Looking up, he saw the full moon and the light reflecting on the large rocks that the leaders addressed the Clans from. For a couple moments, he remained silent, and then trotted down the hill and into the clearing. Moving away from his pack, he approached the rocks and sat down beside them, waiting for the other leaders.

Riversong looks about and blinks, seeing she was the first if her clan to arrive. She shivers, not from a chill but from her sense of loneliness. She may have like her privacy, but she also liked to have someone she knew near by. She saw a leader, of which other clan, she wasn't sure, but a leader nonetheless. She gave a small bow and sat near the trees, folding her ears.

"skypup! lets go talk to that warrior!" Snakepup said, wagging his tail like a dog, excitedly. he slipped on his way down the slippery hill. "ahhhh!" he yelled, laughing as it was kind of fun. he landed in a heap of fur next to riversong. he smiled at riversong. "hi! i'm snakepup from shadowclan, who are you?" he asked, looking at her fur.

Skydust arrived shortly after his leader, the small medicine wolf stopped just short of entering fortress, as he caught his breath. The trip to Moonstone and then straight to this had taken it's toll of the smaller wolf.

Slightly more refreshed and with one last deep breath the Windclan medicine wolf stepped into fortress. Already it was teeming with life, the male had not been here many times, but it still took his breath away. The one time when the packs could come together and not be too full of aggression. Shaking his head Skydust moved off a bit and waited to talk to the other Medicine wolves before the gathering began.

Owlfrost had remained near the back of the WindClan group, keeping a watchful eye on the journey as they made their way to the gathering. Although it had only been a moon since the last one, it felt as though it had been ages. Likely, she suspected, because so much had changed within WindClan: changes that had been happy and sad. Spottedstar might be gone, and missed always, but Stonestar would be a good leader, especially with Skydust helping to guide him. WindClan was truly lucky.

Entering the gathering space, Owlfrost took a quick look around, noting who had arrived so far. Shadestar, the ShadowClan leader, a warrior she recalled was RiverClan though she could not remember her name, and a pup, along with her own clanmates. Padding toward the pup who'd just stumbled down the hill, and the RiverClan wolf, Owlfrost chuckled at his friendly greeting and swiftness to be up on his paws after the tumble. "Now there's some great warrior's spirit," she greeted--no little fall would put a damper on the pup's enthusiasm. "Owlfrost, of WindClan," she added, nodding to both the young male and warrior female.l

Snakepup brightened instantly. "you...you thank i have warrior spirit?" he asked happily. "i'm snakepup, of shadowclan." he said, dipping his head in instant respect for the older wolf.

Riversong watches the other two wolves quietly and gives a small nod. "Riversong, of Riverclan," She whispers, and twitches her ears, letting her icy gaze sweep over the two other wolves, who said their names were Snakepup and Owlfrost. She tilted her head, and gave a small smile at the pup. "Even after tumbling down a hill, your still ready to bounce around," She adds, and twitches her tail.

snakepup looked up and realized he wasnt that scared of she-wolves anymore. 'thank you apachepaw!' he thought. he smiled at riversong as she said he was ready to bounce around. "more like, ready to become an apprentice!" he said, pouncing around, even though he was a couple of moons before he became an apprentice. "oh and i didnt quite catch your name?" he asked, tilting his head.

Owlfrost nodded her agreement to Riversong's comment. "Indeed, any pup who can be on his paws after a tumble like that will be one fierce warrior. I wouldn't want to meet you in a fight, certainly!"

Sizing him up in a friendly manner, Owlfrost narrow her eyes a bit. "You can't have much longer until you're one Snakepup, you look about the same age as our Rosepup and Orchidpup, and they're very nearly apprentices." And indeed, he had all the same energy and enthusiasm that the two young WindClan she wolves had.

"It's nice to meet you Riversong." She added, still smiling kindly as she settled back on her haunches, sitting down.

Lightningpaw strode ino the trees around the clearing that encircled Fourtrees. She watched her clanmates pass her as they followed Shadestar down. She stayed there though for a moment to survey the area. Some of the other wolves from the other clans had appeared. Taking a calm breath she padded into the clearing. She paused when she saw the little pup tumble toward another wolf and shook her head, amused that he had rolled down the hill. She continued walking and caught the introductions of the three wolves, Riversong, Owlfrost, and her fellow clanmate, Snakepup. She approached the pup and sat near him then greeted the other two. "I'm Lightningpaw of Shadowclan." She said to them before turning to look at Snakepup. She had noticed he was bouncing and full of energy and thought to herself. "How can you still be bouncing like that after you rolled off the hill. Hmph, whatever." She said before nodded to the other two and walking away. She honestly didn't care to be arund others so simply sat somewhere else to await the arrival of others. Soon however she grew bored and lay down, watching the others interacting.

Snakepup was laughing with owlfrost. "thanks..." he said then he heard and saw lightningpup. he yelped in surprise, and ran behind riversong immediately. he shivered, hoping he would be hidden behind her leg.

The leader approached the fourtrees with caution, even though its a place for peace within the clans. Seeing other's have already arrived, Lilystar felt like she was late. "I'm sorry for being late." She commented loudly to whomever. Seeing that other's of her clan has already arrived, the leader herself blamed herself for being late. Hopping onto a branch, Lilystar saw Windclan's leader and Shadowclan's leader already there. Now waiting for Thunderclan, the leader sat still opon the branch.

Jaystreak arroved to the Four Trees. Seeing her clanmates are not following, she nervously entered the area. Her eyes setted on a few other clans. She mumbled, "I assume some of the clans are already here."

Jetpup bounded behind JayStreak, following her to wherever it was that they were going. As the female in front of him slowed to a stop, he cast a look around the area they were now in. Four big trees were the center of attention, and he looked ahead in awe at them. He also heard Jay's statement, and look up with wide eyes at her. "There are other clans?" he asked curiously. He didn't know of the world yet, and he was always learning new things.

"Hello Stonestar." He said, noticing the leader's tense posture and probable wish not to speak to him. He shrugged, it wasn't his problem. "You aren't that late, Lilystar." he responded, "It seems ThunderClan are always the wolves who are never here on time." His golden eyes flickered across the clearing and noticed the comical fall of Snakepup. Allowing his face to give a relaxed smile for a moment, the expression quickly disappeared as he watched the others..

Jaystreak was interrupted by Jetpup. She laughed then replied, "Yes. We share this forest with three other clans. Riverclan. They sure love the water. Shadowclan. Not the best of friends with us. Windclan. Known for their swift actions. We all live in the same area but every full moon, we meet with each clan. No fighting is allowed on this night. We come to exchange news." She smiled as she looked down at the young pup.

Jetpup's jaw went slack as JayStreak explained that there were three other clans besides their own, and went on to tell him briefly what each of them were like. "Wooow," he exclaimed as she finished, flopping down on his rump. "That's so cool!" he barked excitedly, his little tail beginning to wag again, brushing against the grassy ground. He now began to wonder what news had to be announced, since apparently that's why they came here.

Jaystreak laughed at the amazement created by Jetpup. She smiled and replied, "I know. I wonder what news is so important?" Her curiousity continued for a while.

Cherryblossom soon arrived and sat down, looking toward the leaders. She was slightly anxious as she hadn't seen her leader around. She anxiously continued to groom herself, she hadn't seen wolves from other clans before. Cherryblossom sighed and curled her tail around her paws, waiting for the gathering to start. Her red-brown fur blew gently in the breeze and her lime green eyes only showed curiosity.

Jaystreak spotted CherryBlossom and let out a low bark. She called, "CherryBlossom, over here!" She smiled and ran toward her licking her friend in greeting.

The leader nodded at Shadestar. "It appears so." She replied to her politely. Lilystar then saw others begin to approach, meaning that the meeting might begin fairly soon.

JayStreak was caught off guard when she saw other leaders but not hers. She whimpered lowly in distress hoping to find the leader. Soon, the meeting will start.
