ThunderClan Camp

*Scratch was torn. On one hand, he wanted to tell Wind about his past.* On the other hand, he wasn't sure Wind would understand what he'd been through. After pondering the matter for a while, he decided he'd tell Wind about his history.*

Shadowpaw felt someone come in a lay down. she was too tired to see who it was though. its probably Oakpaw. since i think Copperpaw and Emberpaw are still at the owl tree. I hope she makes him happy.

Copperpaw nudged shadowpaw awake. rather determinedly he waited for her to lift her head. he hesitated then began speaking "i like emberpaw yes... but i also like you Shadowpaw.." confusion and doubt filled his eyes.

Shadowpaw shook her head in irritation. she just wanted to sleep when she opened her eyes and saw Copperpaw and then listened to what he just said. her eyes widened in surprise, " but i thought you only thought of me as a friend," she said in confusion. " wait ummm, how long have you umm been here?" she asked nervously wondering if he had heard what she had whispered.

He sat up and said "i heard what you said and i dont know who to choose. i like you both".he lowered his head feeling stupid. he stood and walked intot he center of camp. curling up he sighed then after waiting for a while he decided to stand. he turned and took his time selecting something from the fresh kill pile. he nodded his head to this new black wolf that he didnt know but still faintly smelt of thunderclan and lay down gnawing on the meat.

Emberpaw slipped into camp, her eyes glancing around for any sign of Shadowpaw. Not seeing the fae, she shrugged, padding over to the Fresh-kill pile, tearing off one of the few scraps of meat left. She lied down, chewing on the tough, cold meat. She peered up at Copperpaw, who was sitting in the middle of camp to too far from her. "Have you seen Shadowpaw? I'm worried about her..."

He nodded and said in a hoarse voice "shes in the apprentice den Emberpaw". his eyes watched her with sorrow in them, he gave a half smile then sighed. he let out a rather impressive yawn and having finished his chunk of meat lay back down. his copper eyes stared around with intrest.

Shadowpaw was so shocked about what he said and then the fact that he had heard her say she loves him. she just sat thinking and a little confused on what to do now. no she cant have him i wont let her. not when i have a fighting chance, im going to fight for him harder than ever now Emberpaw just you wait. she thought smiling devilishly.

Moonpaw,walked back. Limping,she noticed another black wolf. She snorted. We have enough wolves in this clan already. She snuck into the apprentice den,and noticed Shadowpaw. She seemed confused and sad at the same time. Moon frowned and sighed. She settled next to her and nudged her. "Umm,you ok?"

Shadowpaw shook her head, coming out of her own thought when Moonpaw nudged her. "umm well yes and no, im just really confused."

Wind had no idea what was going on with his clan. The best he could make out was that there were some love problem around. He saw a black male, swiftstreak, near the fresh kill pile. He saw a look he knew well on his face, it was the one where he doesn't want to talk to any wolf. So he simply dipped his head at the male as a greeting. He smelt of thunderclann, and Wind respected the guy, he hadn't done anything else to make him think otherwise. So turning away, he continued looking for Firestar, hopeing she was alright.

Oakpaw whirled around, facing in Shadowpaw and Copperpaw's direction, tears filling her eyes. I will never be loved! she thought, ears drooping as she sat the the corner. Her ears flattened; her mother had told her that she would be at the gathering. She wasn't there!

Wind spotted Oakpaw and the wolf looked like she needed some comfort. Hadding over to her, he nudged her shoulder gently, "Are you alright? What is it?" he couldn't find his mate, so he thought he might help by comforting the clan wolves. "Talk to me Oakpaw." he said softly, in his gentlest voice.

Oakpaw simply shook her head. "I don't feel like talking today." she said, as a tear rolled down her cheek. She looked at the sky. Had StarClan really abandoned them?

Wind looked a her, his eyes calm and understanding. "I know sometimes it feels like no one cares. Trust me, I know that feeling only too well. But that's not true. Look around you, look at all the friends you have here. They all, or most of them cares about you. Does that seem like no one cares when everyone wants to comfort you. Starclan watchout of their own. Always remember that okay?" he used a paw to wipe away her tears and stood to go. He knew when it's time to go.

Hawkpool padded back,she smelt something familiar. Her eyes widened at the sight of a black wolf. She perked up her ears. "Swiftstreak?" She dashed forward. She stood in front of him. Hawk smiled. "Long time no see,eh Swift." She flicked her tail.

The grown up male stood still as Hawkpool approached him, he looked at her standing above her now. The young black male had been gone for a long time "Yeah well I won't be staying much longer." The male said quietly as he looked around the den area kind of sad and annoyed.

Frowning,Hawk blinked. "What are you talking about? You left,You left Icefrost." She blinked a tear. Hawk then shook her head. "Nevermind that." She stepped forward. "Swift,What happened?"

Swiftstreak yawned "I'm leaving the clan to join Wind." The male said wondering if hawkpool had seen firestar. "Have you seen firestar....?" The male said in a mono-toned voice as he walked up and down the clearing.

She snorted. "I can guess why Swift. And to think you though people who left their clan were not loyal." She flicked her ear and stalked off.

Emberpaw cocked her head at Copperpaw's depressed behavoir. She sat up, licking her mussel clean of blood. "What's wrong? Is there something going on?"

Moonpaw blinked. And nodded. "Well,talk to me. I guess i can try and sort it out." Moon flicked her tail. Getting comfortable for this most likely long story.

Hawk pool turned to Swift one more time. "And Firestar is out right now." Her orange eyes flared up. She snorted again. Then turned around. She hung her head low.I don't know why I ever tried to make him see his incorrect ways. He's leaving for Heatherstar..Isn't he? Hawkpool sighed and curled up in her nest.

Swiftstreak smirked "Mhmm and now I see why they left this pack... Just tell firestar." The male said before he stalked out of this clan he refused to stay in anymore. He yawned looking back at the camp before bolting out of the tunnel heading for the

TC/WC border.

Seeing him dashed off,she shut her eyes. She growled. "At least now Icefrost can rest in peace." She muttered. She then sighed. And stood up. "But at least some of them helped her. And i should help him." Sh shut her eyes.
Then dashed after him.

*Scratch padded around in frustration. Despite the continuing famine, nobody did anything to counter it.* I can't believe this. Do any of you know how to scavenge? *His question was just as sarcastic as it was serious.*
