ThunderClan Camp

*Scratch was torn. On one hand, he wanted to tell Wind about his past.* On the other hand, he wasn't sure Wind would understand what he'd been through. After pondering the matter for a while, he decided he'd tell Wind about his history.*

"Oakpaw!" Shadowpaw yelled as she ran to her denmate. " Oakpaw, what happen, no please, please dont be dead" she cried into the she wolf's growing cold fur. "Feathersoul!" she shouted as she ran to the medicine den " please come quick its Oakpaw.... i think shes.... i think shes dead...." why do i have to watch my clanmates die in front of me.... why starclan why.... Shadowpaw thought to herself.

Moon raced inside. She skidded to a stop and glanced around. She noticed Oakpaw lying limply at the apprentice den. She sighed and shook her head. Moon then went to the medicine den. She sat down and watched Feather work. She watch her bulging belly. She flattened her ears and watched closely.

Firestar started up suddenly from the bushes as Wind's voice woke her up from the doze she'd been in. The firey leader had seen wolves coming in including Swiftstreak she noted. Some had gone to the gathering and come back all agitated. She saw Windstorm and called to him, "Wind." She whirled around and saw Oakpaw suddenly fall down and lie limp. Feeling a bit frantic, Firestar closed her eyes and told herself to calm down. It's going to be alright."Shadowpaw", she said. "I know this is horrible for you, for me too. More than you can imagine. But we musn't give up, Oakpaw wouldn't have wanted that and she watches over us from StarClan." She nuzzled the black apprentice and flicked her tail towards the medicine den. She opened her eyes and lifted the apprentice up on her back. She padded determinedly across the camp towards the medicine wolf's den, feeling calmer. Her topaz eyes sparkled. "This is not the end." She slipped inside. "What's happened, Feathersoul?" Firestar looked around. "And what happened at the gathering?" she asked. The leader's eyes darted to Feathersoul's belly and then back at her face.

Feathersoul grasped the dripping moss in her jaws, padding back over to Nightowl. She stared at Rainwhisper for a moment, her best friend, and locked her eyes with her's, and just staring at eachother made the black fae feel like she had been forgiven and everything had been forgotten. She dropped the moss, sitting down, her eyes locked on the bloody wound. She was just about the peel off the bloodied cobwebs before Shadowpaw came rushing in, yelping about Oakpaw. She stood, a growl forming in the depths of her throat. "No one is dead until I say so."
Feathersoul rushed out of the Medicine Den, her eyes flashing with determination as she approached Oakpaw's limp body. She bent her head down, her nose sniffing the apprentice's fur. It was already souring with the stench of death. The Medicine Wolf clenched her teeth, lowering her head and staring at her fluffy black paws. "She's gone," she muttered, raining her head and her paw, slowly wiping it over Oakpaw's face, concealing her cold, dull eyes under her eye-lids. She sighed, her eyes drifting to the night sky. It would be dawning soon. The Medicine Wolf padded back into the Den once more, lieing down beside Nightowl, opposite the side on Rainwhisper, and began pulling the blood-soaked webs off his flanks.

Shadowpaw stopped crying at Firestar's words. She would morn for Oakpaw a little later. she needed to stop acting like a little pup. Shadowpaw looked up at the pale blue sky, " Oakpaw i hope that you lead a better life in Starclan, i will always remember you as apart of Thunderclan." she laid down where she was and started to groom herself, thinking about all the things that have happened lately as her tongue ran over her black glossy fur.

Hawk slowed down by the entrance. She a smelt blood. And the scent of death. She stopped and shut her eyes. Her claws slowly sinking into the ground. She sighed and took a deep breath. She stepped forward,and slowly opened her eyes. Her one orange dull with sadness. She went around a corner and saw a limp body. Hawk swallowed the lump in her throat. She looked away,and saw the medicine den on the other side. She saw a trail of blood leadin up to the shallow breathing Night owl. She faced the ground cold and hard. She growled and sank her clawsinot it. She muttere under her breath. "Starclan. You kill so much,to me. Your just Fox-dung." Hawk snorted and faced the den. The anger flooded from her face. She rushed in and noticed Moonpaw. She flicked her tail. She met Firestar and dipped her head. She sat down and encouraged her to sit down as well. "I need to tell you about what happened at the gathering last night."

Feathersoul cleared away the cobwebs, tossing them over to the side. She hooked a strip of moss with her claw, placing it on Nightowl's flank. She placed her paw on it, gingerly alternating mashing the water out of it and rubbing it around the wound, clensing it of blood. "Does this hurt?" she asked Nightowl, continuing to clean.

Nightowl grumbled "you are shoving moss into me of course its gonna hurt woman!" he laid his head down with a thump and flicked his ears. "is Copperpaw alright? someone Tell firestar that Copperpaw and Shadowpaw are ready to be made warriors". he almost went up to find firestar himself but rainwhispers pressure on hsi flank kept him there. he grunted.

he blew air out through his nose in a huff. "i am leaving this den when its copperpaws warrior ceremony rainwhisper!" he flicked his black tail and slammed it into the ground. he moved wanting to lightly nuzzle at her check. it took some scooching around but he managed it. he shoved his cold black nose into her cheek and grinned.

Moonpaw watched as Feather worked. She snorted hearing Nightowl reply. "Be thankful shes actually trying to heal you." Moon muttered under her breath loud enough for him to hear.
She noticed Hawkpool,and flicked her ears at the wolf. Not knowing she was deputy. Moon stood up and flicked her tail. "Good luck to you Night." She shackled and stepped out. She noticed the body of her sister,Oakpaw. Laying limply in the clearing. She turned away from it,and watched the ground. She wrapped her tail around her. She just watched doing nothing. Shes dead...

Shadowpaw heard Nightowl, and she walked to the medicine den to see how her mentor was doing. " hey Nightowl how are you feeling?" she asked trying to sound cheerful but her eyes held sadness in them. she put on a brave face but inside she was hurting, she felt like everything was just falling down around her. Shadowpaw wasnt one for letting people see that she was in pain so she did the best she could to hide it from her clanmates.

Hearing Shadowpaws sweet voice the boy stood and trotted over, he stopped stark seeing his brother. his face paled and he shook as he stuttered "h-h-hes gonna b-b-be ok r-right?" he twined his tail with shadowpaws as he stared at his brother. he turned his head and shoved his face into her neck before he moved and sat beside his brother. he tried not to cry.
