Fawnpaw shrugged. "I know some things about herbs because of - er - wanderings from when I was a pup, but I don't think I'd be cut out for the job." Her whole body twitched as she looked for something to do. Giving out a frustrated huff, Fawnpaw turned only to see Rowanpaw sitting a few fox lengths away. Noticing his troubled expression, the fae walked up to him. "Are you okay?" she whispered in a concerned voice.

Gentleheart saw another wolf enter behind Fawnpaw. " hi, im Gentleheart, whats your name?" Gentleheart was naturally just a sweet wolf and liked everybody until they proved other wise. she liked to see the best in almost everyone.

Scarletpup yawned and stretched in the nursery. Padding out into the main camp area, she looked around to see if there was anyone around she could play with. She desperately just wanted to spin around and run outside into the fresh air but she knew she wasn't allowed or supposed to by herself. No harm in just poking my head out surely?, she thought and padded cautiously over to the camp entrance. Popping her head out into sunlight, Scarletpup edged out some more until her whole body was bathed in warm sunlight. Why have I never come out here before!?, she thought to herself and smiled as a butterfly flew past. Scarlet's brown fur tinged a pretty reddy-rusty colour as she leapt up in the air after the butterfly playfully, her big, cute pup eyes glistened in the sunlight.

Obsidianpaw looked at her mentor. "Can Mosseybreeze come with us please." The apprentice begged. She wanted her aunt to come to.

Mosseybreeze looked at Pinedusk. "Um I don't think that is a good Idea. Maybe the um the how about the river." She was still sad about dire and that would bring back memories.

Tigerpaw walked over to Scarletpup and sat down her ears perked "hey Scarletpup" she sad casually, she wondered how the pup was taking otterpups demise. she flicked her ears and tilted her head. yellow eyes gleaming.

Rowanpaw didn't immediately answer Fawnpaw, because he didn't really know the answer. He was fine...just anxious about having this forgein wolf in camp, and how easily Fawnpaw seemed to open up to her. What if she was dangerous and Direstar apprehended them? Sighing, the gangly apprentice slumped down to his paws. He looked up at Gentleheart's question. "I'm Rowanpaw." He said wearily, casting a furtive glance at his friend.

Gentleheart smiled at him. " nice name Rowanpaw, and nice to meet you." Gentleheart was feeling a lot better thanks to the apprentices. " i am feeling a lot better and i was wondering if i can talk to your leader Direstar." she knew that although they were being nice to her they were probably very suspicious of her, i mean they didnt know her at all and it would only be natural to be weary of her.

Fawnpaw gave Rowanpaw a curious and nervous glance before she turned to Gentleheart. "Direstar's out of camp at the moment," she said with a gaze shift through the den entrance and at the exit. "I don't know where he went off too." The small fae turned to her friend. "Do you?"

Snowpup heard he name. She smiled as she was made an apprentice. She then raced after Amberwing. She bounced happily. "Where are we going to go first?" She ignored the new wolf in camp.

Fernshade heard her father speak to her. She flicked her ears. Acknowledging him. She then sat up and stretched. She watched the ceremony's from inside her father's den. She blinked surprisingly as Shadowstorm retired from being deputy. She smiled as Ripplestone was made deputy instead.he padded over and flicked her tail. She noticed her apprentice and Rowanpaw take in a wolf that smelled like Thunderclan. She narrowed her eyes and quickly followed. She saw she was tired and sick. She glanced at the two. "Well,we'll need my brother from this." She flicked her tail and watched them.

Scarletpup stopped chasing the butterfly as she heard someone say her name. "Hey Tigerpaw." She greeted and watched as the butterfly flew away out of reach... It reminded her of the eagle that had taken Otterpup and she winced in sorrow. Never before had she thought a friend could be lost so easily like that. With her tail drooping down on the floor, she padded over to Tigerpaw and sat down infront of the female. "How are you?" She asked politely but her voice cracked a little as she said.

Tigerpaw awkwardly licked the pups head and said aloofly "im sure that Otter survived and that hes fine" she shrugged and said "the gathering will be soon, its sometimes rather fun to go to it". she flicked her ears saying "you might meet some new wolves there".

The weary red leader returned to camp, he leapt up onto the top of the cave and sat down. watching the camp with tired eyes, brackenspirit would probbaly know that he had lost three lives today. but he would not tell anyone else. his eyes were tired, everyone hated him... the clans bluepaw even his own son. he was lost and didnt know which way to turn. he tilted his muzzle to the sky and began to howl. a howl of broken dreams

Noticing a howl,Fernshade flicked her ears. She watched the new Thunderclan wolf carefully. She looked scrawny and weak. Fern sighed. "The apprentices will get you fixed up. And my brother,Brackenspirit will come soon. He's our medicine wolf." She flicked her tail and then padded towards her father. The sun on her brown back. She then sat beside him. Gazing into his red eyes. She smiled and howled. Closing her own yellow eyes. Emerging herself in her father's warm scent.

Scarletpup batted Tigerpaw's tail in a friendly gesture before nodding a little. "I hope he's still alive..." She mumbled but as Tiger mentioned the gathering she perked up a little. "This'll be my first gathering!" She exclaimed and gave a happy little bounce. "What's it like at a gathering? Are there lots of wolves? Do the clans talk to each other or do we sit separately? How long do they go on for? How many have you been to?" Scarletpup flooded the questions apon Togerpaw suddenly all excited and curious as ever to find out things. "I can't wait!" She tipped and nearly head butted the apprentice in the face by accident. She perked her ears hearing Direstar and Fernshade howl and she flung back her head and let out a puppyish howl to join in. It sounded nothing like a proper wolf howl but she was still learning.

Bullet watched as Direstar ambled away in mid-conversation with a confused expression on his face. Where had he gone? Standing up the large dog took a step here, then there, retracting his paw each time as anxious after thoughts stopped him from progressing any further. Finally deciding that it would be best if he just stayed where he was, the muscular canine sat very still, as if holding his breath and waiting for something. He felt thoroughly numb with exhaustion and longed for the arrival of his only friend, Eclipse. Only then would he be free from his worries as ridiculous theories of why she was taking so long crowded his mind. As a distressed howl shattered the advancing darkness of his thoughts the dog started with a surprised yelp.

Seeing Amberwing ignore her. She pinned the ears to her head. Snowpaw sighed and flicked her tail. She turned around,and noticed Tigerpaw with Scaletpup. She shrugged and padded over. Her tail swaying behind her.

Finishing his long drawn out howl he leapt down and said to bullet "by going on a hunt and showing me some battle moves" something was different about the leader. he had losthis faith in starclan. they had truly abandoned the clans. he swished his tail wwaiting for the dog to reply. His ears flicked for Ripplestone, shadowstorm, Fernshade and Stoatblaze to meet him in his den after this.

Mosseybreeze looked around camp. She was so sad SUnstrike was gone. He was nice. She laid down next to a tree tears in her eyes.

Hearing a deep and unexpected voice sound behind him the dog swung around to face Direstr as he answered the question that he had asked before the leader had left. All seemed fair and well to the male, so with I final pause of last minute consideration, he dipped his head in understanding. He was ready to tackle anything that was thrown at him, and was also ready to learn from his mistakes. He wanted to perform to the best of his ability as the wolf assessed him, and the brown and black male felt very eager to begin. Various questions began to creep into his mind again as he sat and waited for further instruction. How big was this mountainous Clan's territory? How big was the Clan itself and what were it's members like? How did they fight and what did they eat? He was in a very curious mood at the moment, and found every little thing he could smell and see extremely intriguing.

Shadowstorm saw the signs, he walked into Direstar's den. He had been there many times before, but this had truly been his first time since he stepped down from deputy. He sat there waiting for the leader to get there. He would be an elder soon.
