She got a firm grip on the horse's back, her eyes focused on the neck. She bit deep into the shoulder blade, hoping her mentor would take the horse down. She was weary, knowing it would buck her off if she gave the slightest weakness. She wanted to lead the way to the death of this creature.

Okami burst from her cover and leapt up, she sank her powerful jaws into the horses nose, blood mixed with snot filled her mouth causing her to give a low growl. she kicked out at the animals chest with her sharp back claws, she watched with satisfaction as blood welled up from the cuts.

Amberpaw decided it was time, she went and moved up slowly on the back until she could reach the creatures neck. She bit down hard and crushed it's windpipe. Her eyes filled with satisfaction. It started to fall and she leapt off of it. "What was that thing?" She asked after the fact.

"i have no idea, but let us practise your defensive fighting, ill attack you and you will knock my blows out of the way, dodge or leap out of the way". she flicked her ears waiting for her apprentices reply. her white pelt blew around in the strong breeze..

Amberpaw nodded as she prepped herself for an attack. She narrowed her eyes, she would use defensive fighting a lot it seemed. She was excited, for she didn't like hurting another wolf. However defending against a wolf was different.

Okami lunged aiming to smack Amberpaw on the jaw. her white paws slid out with lightning speed. her black eyes hollowed as she fought. her white tail spread out to help her keep her balance.

Amberpaw twisted and rolled on her back, sliding under the wolf's belly and not doing anything. She was excited and she stood back up. Her eyes focused as she waited for the next attack. Her eyes had a nervous glint to them.

Okami dashed around and slid under her belly shoving up her paws hopefully to rake at the other wolfs belly. her black eyes glittered with concentration. her white pelt moved smoothly under the wolf. her tail again being used for balance and steering.

Amberpaw tried to jump up to avoid the push, but she failed and she felt the claws on the end of her body. She was nervous still and she waited anxiously. She looked at her mentor. Ready for the next attack so she would win.
