Heather star watched the jet black male intently as his nervous state became apparent to her, and she wriggled her ears, just waiting. Finally, when his question eventually reached her white tipped ears she felt something inside of her lurch violently, and for a moment the small leader was dumb found. Stunned beyond words for a couple of moments the fae let herself relax, feeling a smile beginning to form upon her muzzle. Never could she of imagined that this was what Swiftstreak had been planning to ask her, and she couldn't have wished for anything else. "Of course." She muttered equally, joy and emotion filling her gaze as she looked up at him. "Yes, of course I will be."

Heatherstar watched the male leave with a pang of regret, a clear sign that she was beginning to come back around, even if she was not quite wholly sane yet. "Whatever you say." She mumbled quietly, pinning her ears to her skull and hunching herself up, making herself look even smaller than usual. Still waiting for Spottedheart's all important examination to step up to the next level the leader sat in silence, gazing sightlessly at the floor and wondering. Just wondering.

Spottedheart listened, there was no sign of any sickness or coughs. And Heatherstar had already told her she was feeling ok. The She-wolf sighed. "You seem healthy, but Swiftstreak's right, I think you should rest for a while." Spottedheart dipped her head in a 'Thankyou' motion before padding out the leader's den. She then yawned. "I'm kinda tired myself..." She thought. Arriving into her den, Spottedheart lied down on her nest and closed her eyes.

Heatherstar looked up at Spottedheart, a relived smile stretching along the width of her muzzle. "Thank you, Spottedheart." She called appreciatively after the female as she left her den for her own, leaving the leader alone inside the dark den. Usually, the darkness surrounding the petite female would have appealed to her, offering her an odd sense of comfort and protection from the world outside that allowed her to muse at will, but now, as she stared around the bare, stony walls, she could not suppress a chilling shiver. Crawling slowly into her nest, her eyes wide and scared again as she peered around the eerie prison and let out a small moan of longing, that seemed to echo around her before bouncing off the last wall and disappearing out through the den entrance. Curling up in a tight ball the mentally unstable leader scrunched her eyes up as tight as she could, willing her mind to lull off into a welcoming slumber, but no matter how hard she tried, no sleep came.

The black male watched Spotteddheart leave, as he inched forward closer, looking into the dark den from he's distance, he felt a little worried as sad, that he got angry at how Windclan was acting. The black male ghosted around at the entrance hearing little moans, as he walked into keeping quiet the male laid next to he's mate licking her forehead, then rested he's head against her side. "I'll sleep with you hun." The male said brushing he's nuzzle up and down your side.

In her drowsy state, Heatherstar could hear the potter patter of footsteps outside that seemed to be getting closer and closer by the second, but didn't need to open her eyes to tell who it was. She could already scent him. Letting the flickers of a true smile pass across her muzzle as Swiftreak padded up and lay down next to her, she raised her head to wearily nuzzle his neck affectionately, the warm feeling that shuddered through her body at the male's touch driving most thoughts from her confused mind. "Thank you" She whispered quietly into his ear, pushing away yet another yawn that was threatening to send her words of gratitude into a silent abyss. "Th-th-thank you..."

Swiftstreak closes he's eyes breathing deeply smelling the sweet scent of Heatherstar honey coat. As he laid he's head a little above her soft side of her belly. The male nodded a little as she thanked him before he too fell into a deep sleep.

Raggedfur watched in mounting irritation as a swarm of wolves buzzed around Heatherstar, trying to restore some of the sanity that had obviously left her. Had it been up to Raggedfur, he would have just given the Windclan leader a good smack upside the head. She was being selfish, absorbed in her own pities and sorrows without thinking of her clan. Contrary to her belief, Direstar had had other close Windclan friends as well - Heatherstar needed to quit acting like she was entitled to her madness. Grumbling to himself, Raggedfur climbed to his paws and shook the dust from his pelt. He needed somewhere quiet, somewhere away from all the craziness that inhabited camp. As Raggedfur took a step forward, however, he suddenly landed on a furry white tail. Yelping in treapidation as he remembered Okami, Raggedfur couldnt steady himself before he totally tripped over the female, landing in a tangle of fur and limbs.

Okami yelped in astonishment as Raggedfur tripped over her tail wich in retrospect was rather floofy and landed ontop of her. she blinked in astonishment noticing that his face was about fiveinches from her own. she struggled unsuccessfully as Raggedfur was heavier than her and she had never had much fighting training.

"Ugh," The mingled embarassment and irritation was evident in Raggedfur's tone as he struggled to balance himself on his feet. How idiotic was he, tripping over another wolf like that? Mentally cursing himself, Raggedfur felt his face flush beneath his fur as he registered the close proximity between his and Okami's bodies. Flinging himself to his feet, the large male shook his pelt off vigourously, his usual arrogance and offhand attitude suddenly at a loss. "Sorry 'bout that," He muttered sheepily, eyes looking anywhere but at the female. God, what was wrong with him?

Barks tripe heard a tumble,and heard growls. He lifted his heard at the sound of tumbling wolves. He chuckled under his breathe as he slid into Okami. He flicked his ears. Then yawned. He stood up and padded to the warrior's den. I bet those two have something worked out. He chuckled and laid down. He curled up,and wrapped his tail around him.

She got up unsteadily to her feet and replied "we all make mistakes", her black eyes were watching him like a hawk. she shook out her fur and flicked her ears. Feeling the itchiness on her left shoulder where the thunderstick mark was she repressed the urge to gnaw on it. Her ears swiveled and she sent a dark look at barkstripe. what a mangefur, thinking he was oh so superior. with a grunt she plonked her behind down and regarded Raggedfur.

Swiftstreak slowly opened he's eyes the next morning, seeing rays of light cut through the entrance. The male raised he's head a little before placing it back down licking Heatherstar honey brown coat a few times. The male wondered if she was okay now.

Hurricanepup blinkedhis gray eyes in astonishment, amberpaw had walked right past him! with a whiney growl he trotted after her and said "amberpaawww, when you are a warrior you'll mentor me right?" he asked curiously. he could be a good apprentice! he knew it. before he could say anything else he tripped over his own big paws and fell flat on his face.

Dawnwish felt somewhat frightened as she watched her leader. The wise leader had seemed to lose her sanity somewhat. The new warrior watched Spottedheart and hoped the medicine wolf could help her. It hurt to see her old friend like this. The black fae turned, wanting to look anywhere else. She watched Hurricanepup and laughed silently as he tripped over his paws.

Heatherstar stirred as the pale rays of weak sunlight battered her eyelids and the rhythmic lapping of a tongue began to ease her from her long awaited sleep. Lifting her head sleepily the leader blinked rapidly as she turned to investigate who was gently licking her side, and remembered everything from the night before as the black pelt of Swiftstreak met her eyes. "Morning." She mumbled softly, her head pounding painfully as she lay it back down on her paws, silently dreading the day ahead.

(Amber, were you aware that Heather was asleep in her den when Amber walked in? I was just wondering if it was a mistake or wether i should add her in my post xD )

Amberpaw was curious with her leader, she seemed to have been distressed earlier and now she was calm. She tilted her head to the side as she gazed at her leader. She was just trying to help. She wondered what was going on, everyone seemed to be going crazy.

As the voice of yet another wolf sounded close by Heatherstar looked up with an irritable grunt, shaking out her fur and staring at Amberpaw blankly. "Get me... Anything you can get me..." She repeated slowly and quietly, finding that by speaking questions aloud she was able to process the words more swiftly and efficiently."Nothing immediately springs to mind, dear." She replied truthfully, but then again, it was hardly surprising; not a great deal had been entering the young female's mind since the horrific news had struck her. Perhaps that was the cause for her inability to process things, thanks to her incapability to process and accept Direstar's death? Nevertheless, despite her stubborn attitude and refusal to accept her friends passing, the sleep had helped the troubled leader a huge amount, and little did she know, that to key to her sanity and aid along the path to revival, was simply and solely, time.

"Morning." The male replies hearing amberpaw entire the den. The black warrior gets to he's feet and shakes he pelt before leaving heatherstar side. Short before walking out tto the bright morning, the male headed too the fresh kill pile, before picking out a rabbit he then sat down and had he's breakfast.

Barkstripe yawned and sat up. He gazed outside rp and the sun was out. He blinked and shook his pelt. He then padded outside,he watched Heatherstar carefully and lower his head. By just flicked his ears and laid down at the entrance of the den.

"Mm." Raggedfur's only response to Okami's cryptic words was a gruff sound of assent. He shook his pelt vigorously, still not meeting the she-wolf's gaze and instead looking anywhere but. Embarassment still burned his cheeks, mingling with a rapidly mounting self-irritation. Raggedfur felt like a clumsy apprentice, and he didn't know why he couldn't get over himself and just storm away, like he would on any other occasion.

She stood up and ruffled her white pelt watching him cautiously, her black eyes were interestedand she let out a snort. she swished her white tail and asked "you alright?" her voice was gentle. she backed up a bit giving him some space. her pelt felt hot and she couldnt keep her holllow black gaze off him. she snapped at her self.

The longer Raggedfur stood there, the more flustered he became, until his paws were itching to burst into a run and just flee the scene. He held his ground, though, and when Okami finally spoke up he snapped his head around, staring at her. Raggedfur wished he hadn't - those pitch black eyes made him nearly flinch with uneasiness. "Of course I'm alright." He snapped, words coming out harsher than he'd intended, but there was no conviction behind his words. Raggedfur wrinkled his muzzle in distaste, and he found himself hoping his cold words wouldn't immediately drive her away. As much as Okami made his pelt crawl with weariness, Raggedfur didn't want to screw things up with her again, because as far as he could tell, she'd done alright by Raggedfur. "Are you?"

his tone made her blink, she could see that her gaze unnerved him so she stared down at her paws and said "yes i am perfectly alright" she continued keeping at her paws. she didnt want to drive him away like when she had last sat beside him. she wrinkled her black nose inhaling his scent.
