Heather star watched the jet black male intently as his nervous state became apparent to her, and she wriggled her ears, just waiting. Finally, when his question eventually reached her white tipped ears she felt something inside of her lurch violently, and for a moment the small leader was dumb found. Stunned beyond words for a couple of moments the fae let herself relax, feeling a smile beginning to form upon her muzzle. Never could she of imagined that this was what Swiftstreak had been planning to ask her, and she couldn't have wished for anything else. "Of course." She muttered equally, joy and emotion filling her gaze as she looked up at him. "Yes, of course I will be."

Aurorapaw looked over at heatherstar in shock she raced over and desperatly tried to save her, her eyes filled with tears and she began sobbing "im a faliure a faliure as a medicine wolf" she turned and began running home. tears filling her purple eyes

Fernshade turned to the medicine apprentice. "Aurorapaw. Come back!" She reached out a paw,which caught a little hair in the apprentice. Which slipped through her paws. She sighed and turned to the Windclanners. "I'm sorry for your lost,but I must go now." She turned and dashed after Aurorapaw.
-Sunclan camp-

Barkstripe sighed,and nodded to Fernshade. "Thanks for your help with Swiftstreak." He turned and nudged the black wolf. "I'll leave you with her for a moment." He hesitated,then slowly turned and padded to the warrior's den.

Swiftstreak closed he's eyes as he tried to stop the unstoppable tears that ran down he's face. He was truly broken he's life had no meaning anymore as he's senses went numb, he was oblivious to the other wolves. The Black male laid down pressing he's forehead against he's lifeless better half that he had none since he's was a pup at he's very first gathering. Swiftstreak insides where full of sadness and hate for starclan. Deeply troubled Swiftstreak started to sob once more.

Jadeeather let out a wail as she watched he leader collapse onto the floor and start to shake. "Heatherstar!" She cried and rushed over, burying her head in her leader's flank. Jadefeather felt numb, completely dumb struck by the event. Hearing Swiftstreak behind her, Jadeeather wriggled back and let the black male mourn. Oh it must be so hard for him, she sympathised silently and sniffed back some tears. She placed her tail on the male's shoulder to try comfort him, though hesitated before doing so knowing that h would be feeling very emotional.

Barks tripe noticed Jadefeather rush over to Heatherstar as well. He turned his head away and lowered his head. His face overshadowed with sadness. He dug his claws in the ground in his frustration.

Brokenglare lifted her head as she heard Swiftstreak keep "No-ing" loudly. "Um, what is going o-", was all she said before the sight of her leader, also her rolemodel dying just meters away shutted her mouth. She ran in panic over to the leader's corpse and looked at her with paranoid-like eyes. "H-Heatherstar!", she asked, no, more like screamed at the leader. "Heatherstar!?", she continued. Tears welled up in her eyes as she heard no answer. She felt unspeakable much pain inside of her body. The wuff butt she respected the most in the world... Was dead. She let out a howl loud enough to be heard even tall up in the mountains of the Sunclan territory. "Heatherstaaaaaar!!!"

Swiftstreak sat looking at the body throughout the night. As the warmth of sun spread over the camp. The sick male picked up the body of he's beautiful mate, taking her back into the leaders den placing her graceful body on the floor. The male got some wet moss to wash the blood from her muzzle and the fur around it. He coughed a few time as he sat there in the half dark den with hollow eyes and ghost like look on he's face as he just watched time pass next to he's dead love... "I didn't even get to see your majestic smile.". The male said in he's broken quite voice.

Jadefeather watched as Swiftstreak mourned and she couldn't help but let the tears roll down her face. "Why is StarClan doing this!" Jadefeather growled and raked her claws across the ground. I can't believe Heatherstar's just... Gone..., Jade thought and paced back and forth in the clearing. The cries coming from all the wolves made the place feel like a ghost hollow and Jadefeather let out a mournful howl for her leader. Heatherstar would never be forgotten. Heather had been a kind, respected leader and one of the bestest friends a wolf could have.

Barkstripe swallowed the lump in his throat. The dark sandy ground in the den was all he stared at. Hearing the wails from outside,pierced him even deeper. The walls made him feel small,and unlike anything before. Not even his parent's death was as bad as this. He cringed and clawed up more dirt.

The whites of Swiftstreaks eyes were now blood red, as they had dried up and he had no more tears to cry. The male just continued to weep. He didn't know what else to do but sit there and feel like it was all he's fault she probably died of green-cough which he was the only other wuff butt to have it. The male felt it was all he's fault and the guilt burned away he's broken starved body. The once glistening blue eyed handsome brute looked like a empty, cold black ghost. He laid down next to the body putting a arm around the side of the female, as he closed he's eyes. The male begin to see flashes and he's dead mates face, with blood the came from her mouth, he opened he's eyes gasping for air as he laid struggling to think or move.

Brokenglare sat down with an empty face, tears streaming down her face. Why did...Starclan do this?, she thought. Her eyes looked all hollow and empty, even creepier than when glaring. She looked around her, but everything just seemed empty and meaningless. Why did they have to take Heatherstar away? What have we done wrong?, she continued thinking. Her thoughts echoed multiple times in her mind, and she couldn't make any of this fall into place. Why did it happen?

(Is that replace Wolf With wuff butt thing some kind of joke? I find it rather weird...)

Smokepup ran out of the nursery den as she heard the howls of all the clan wolves. She quickly ran to where everyone was gathered. She pushed her way to the front of the crowd and was shocked to see Heatherstar's dead body lying in the middle. She stood there, too shocked to say anything.

Grizzlypup sniffed and shook the tears away. Like Starclan is real. They wouldn't do something so heartless. His ears twitched. "Heatherstar wouldn't want us to mope for the rest of our lives right?" He shook his head inconfusion. "Argh,what am I suppose to know?"

Jadefeather stopped howling as she noticed Grizzlypup and Smokepup pad into the clearing. He's right, Jadefeather thought as Grizzlypup spoke and she cast a grateful glance over to the pup. "Grizzlypup's right. Heatherstar wouldn't want to see us like this..." She barked and flicked her tail. Padding over to Smokepup, Jadefeather licked the tips of the pup's ears comfortingly seeing how shocked she was. "It's okay there little one." The black female exclaimed In a calm and friendly voice. "You hungry?" She asked, trying to distract Snokepup from the death... An distract herself.

Amberleaf arrived back at camp from a rest off near Outlook Rock. She was calm as her amber eyes gazed around, confused, and when she saw Heatherstar's dead, motionless body. Her eyes were clouded with grief. She looked around, Okami had been gonna while, and she was unsure where. All she had left was Jadefeather.... and the secret him. But surely that was just a small fancy of a crush?

Grizzlypup glanced up at Jadefeather. "Seeing that,I think I lost my appetite." His ears twitched. "What do you think Starclan is? Yeah their a group of wolves in the sky. But,what are they like? I mean doing this..." He sighed.

Swiftstreak eyes narrowed at the word "Starclan" the male flexed what strength in he's muscles he had left in him as he felt he's body warm with rage. He turned to look at grizzlypup, with he's sour looking eyes. Swiftstreak clenched he's jaw. But he didn't have the energy to want to speak about the awful starclan myth. The male just sat there as he looked back on heatherstar's body, he had to barry he's own mate. The male sniffed as he began the task, of barrying heatherstar body, he found a corner inside the camp close to the leader den, and began to dig.

Grizzlypup felt Swiftstreak's eyes burn into his own. He growled. I can see why Heatherstar wanted to die. Because of that idiot. He snarled and barred his teeth.

Jadefeather stumbled at Grizzly's question. "I-I don't know... I mean, I thought they were meant to try and bring peace. Not murder our leader in the cruelest way they could think." She snarled and dug her claws into the ground in frustration. As Swiftstreak came over with anger in his eyes, Jadefeather readied herself to protect the pup but relaxed as he walked away to bury Heatherstar. She wondered whether she should help him bury her, but guessed only the closest wolves that knew Heather the best should bury her... Dropping her head to look at the ground, Jadefeather gave a sigh, cuffing Grizzlypup's ears with her paw as a warning to watch his tongue and padded over to the warriors den giving a brief nod to Amber as she went past. Jadefeather felt so tired and all she could think about was that this must be a bad dream... and when she woke up things would all he back to normal. Surely? Wriggling inside, Jadefeather noticed a rather distressed looking Barkstripe laying in his nest. "You alright?" She asked as she came over and sat infront of him. The hard lump in her throat from grieving was still there but she tried not to make her voice shake too much as she spoke.

Brokenglare turned her head towards the sky, staring at it with her hollowed eyes and empty look. Starclan...I don't see your reason to do this...., she thought, with a mind way calmer than before, but deep on the inside, all cracked up and filled with panic. She walked calmly and almost soulless-looking to the edge of the camp. I must...go there..., she thought. She trotted away silently to the only place where she could think clearly right now, The Outlook Rock.

The black male snarled hearing grizzlypup, he continue to dig the hole as, he put the body of he's mate in the hole and reflledd the hole. The male padded the top of the soil as he sat calm. Ignoring the stupid pup that talked to much for he's own good.

Feeling Jadefeather cuff him. He snapped at her. He snorted and stalked into the nusury. Her laid down in his nest,his claws digging into the moss.

Bar,stripe glanced behind himself,to see Jadefeather. He lowered his ears. "Just the same as everyone really." His tail twitched. "Umm,how are you holding up?"

Smokepup switched her attention to Amberleaf as she heard her ask if she was hungry. "No. I'm alright." she said quietly. She let her senses return to her as she took in all that had happened. Heatherstar was dead and Windclan currently had no leader.

Jadefeather sighed and looked behind her towards the leader's den. "Same... Can't help thinking about how Heather died though... I mean, it was so sudden it could happen to any one of us at anytime..." She barked and trailed off to look at her paws realising she probably shouldn't have pointed that out. "WindClan have no Medicine Wolf, a dead Leader and the deputy is missing. What are we supposed to do?" She exclaimed and dug her claws into the ground in frustration. Why did StarClan have to take Heather? And where is Snowflower?, she growled in her head and flicked her tail. "The clan is so vulnerable like this. If we get attacked..." She barked and trailed off again. She realise she was talking too much and gave Barkstripe an apologetic glance.

"Maybe we should search for Snowflower." yipped the small pup. After all, she was the deputy. Windclan couldn't remain without a leader for long...
