WindClan Camp

Heather star watched the jet black male intently as his nervous state became apparent to her, and she wriggled her ears, just waiting. Finally, when his question eventually reached her white tipped ears she felt something inside of her lurch violently, and for a moment the small leader was dumb found. Stunned beyond words for a couple of moments the fae let herself relax, feeling a smile beginning to form upon her muzzle. Never could she of imagined that this was what Swiftstreak had been planning to ask her, and she couldn't have wished for anything else. "Of course." She muttered equally, joy and emotion filling her gaze as she looked up at him. "Yes, of course I will be."

Larkpup padded out of the Windclan nursery and gazed around. The sunlight felt warm on her shoulders, and the soft breeze ruffled her fur. "What a beautiful day!" She thought, watching several of her clanmates trot out of camp. She sighed longingly. "I really wish I could go out of camp." Larkpup was almost apprentice age anyway. She wondered if she could somehow sneak away.

(Sorry if I miss out on what has happened in the camp lately, but I'm pretty sure it's still the calm place it usually is)

Brokenglare walked over to the warriors den and layed down. I wonder what the future will meet us with..., she thought while looking at the camp outside. After all that has happened, what will be next?, she continued. I have a feeling it can't be too good..., she thought after a little pause. She curled up and closed her eyes. Starclan won't be too mild with us, I think I can be sure of that..., she ended the thought with. She opened her eyes halfway up and kept watching the clan, hoping for Starclan to spare them.

Larkpup smiled as Brokenglare layed down near the Warriors Den. The pup enjoyed the company of the older warrior. Larkpup lowered herself and stalked towards her. Readying herself, she leaped on Brokenglare's tail. "Get out of here you Stormclan Warrior!" She howled playfully.

Jadefeather perked her ears hearing bodies move to sit outside the warriors den. Popping her head out of the entrance, Jade gave a warm, friendly smile to the wolves gathered around as she wiggled her way out into the fresh air. "Hey guys." she barked and flicked her tail. She gave a light chuckle as Larkpup launched herself at Brokenglare, happy to see the pup enjoying herself.

The dog stood there feeling as if he didn't belong, he adopted an uncaring look on his face as if he didn't care what the wolves thought but the truth was underneath it all the lion did care. The handsome dog sat down and stared at his paws, brown almond shaped eyes unreadable.

"Hey Jadefeather!" Larkpup barked happily. Unsheathing her little claws, she sunk them into the moss bedding on the floor. "My name is Larkstar!" She continued, glancing at the warriors around the den. "The fierce Windclan leader!" Then the little pup hurled herself at Jadefeather, but accidently slipped on the moss. "Wha-" Larkpup ended up sprained on her paws, but she couldn't help from laughing.

Jadefeather chuckled at the pup's imaginative behaviour. So cute, she thought as the small female declared her being leader. Jade didn't flinch away as Larkpup launched herself at her but quickly scrambled to her paws as the pup fell over noticing her awkward landing. Smiling warmly down at the pup, Jade began a little worriedly , "Are you alright there 'oh mighty' Larkstar?" Jadefeather had a soft spot for pups but everyone knew how easily they could get hurt, especially when playing around.

Larkpup got to her paws again and looked around, slightly embarrassed. Her thick brown fur was now ruffled and messy looking. "I'm fine." She replied, her large amber eyes gleaming. "Hey Jadefeather?" Larkpup asked, "Since I'm almost ready to be an apprentice, can go out on the moors with you?" The little she-wolf really hoped that she would say yes.

Jadefeather gave a small sigh of relief as Larkpup got up and announced she was alright. Hesitating for a moment as the pup asked if Jade would take her to the moors, she pondered for a minute before answering. "Okay... As long as you behave. If you do anything dangerous we'll be coming right back to camp." The pretty fae gave a small smile and winked at Lark before lightly nudging the pup's shoulder with her muzzle in a friendly gesture.

"Great!" Larkpup barked. The little pup hopped up and down before she realized that probably looked immature. "Alright, let's go then!" The pup ran to the entrance of the camp before turning to see if Jade was following. She then headed after her towards the moors.

Raggedfur entered camp, blatantly ignoring the pup that dashed past him with Jadefeather in tow. His face was twisted into a scowl as he relayed the events of the moor in his head. Raggedfur wasn't sure if he'd made the right decision by leaving the dogs on Windclan land. Though they were practicaly defenseless and couldn't pose any threat against the large clan of wolves, Raggedfur knew that some wouldn't support his choice of allowing them refuge on wolf territory. Exhaling deeply and wondering why it had had to be he who made the decision, Raggedfur sat down and stared towards Snowstar's den. He would need to speak to her and tell her about the dogs, but for now, Raggedfur just wanted to relax.

After a few moments, the feeling of the warm, mid-day sunlight beating on Raggedfur's back began to soothe his frayed nerves. He yawned widely, wondering when was the last time he'd gotten a good sleep. Napping seemed inevitable, nowadays, what with all of Windclan constantly traipsing around like enraged elephants. Stretching his large body, blunt claws curling inwards towards the dusty ground, Raggedfur was just getting ready to roll into a comfortable position when he noticed a nearby presence. Jet black head whipping upwards, the male's eyes landed on the advancing figure of the young female warrior, Fawnfleck, almost instantly. Raggedfur stiffled a groan at the interruption of his much needed resting. He couldn't bring himself to be too irritated, though, because as much as they may pretend to dislike each other, Raggedfur and Fawnfleck had always gotten on fairly well. Unlike most wolves of Windclan, Fawnfleck never took herself or Raggedfur too seriously and had enough persistence to wriggle her way past his grumpy facade every now and then. "Yes," Raggedfur said grumpily, though he knew the female would interpret his teasing tone. "Before you had to come interrupt it."

Jadefeather padded out of the warriors den as Larkpup headed for the moors. Trotting after her, Jade stretched her jaws open in a wide yawn, her teeth glistening in the sunlight. "Hey, wait up!" She barked after Larkpup as the pup ran out of camp. Shaking her head, Jade exited camp.

Swiftstreak entered camp as he yawned still dazed from his long sleep. The black handsome male grabbed a rabbit and sat down alone in the corner of the camp, he hated sticking around here for long now that he had no real purpose of being here. The male begin to eat his meal.

Hurricanepaw perked his ears as he noticed swiftstreak he walked over to the dark male and said in a cold bored tone "i am your new apprentice Swiftstreak" his gray eyes betrayed his excitement. He obviously admired the dark male and his ability to not give a darn. the oddly marked male grinned a little.

Swiftstreak yawned sitting in the middle of the clearing. The black male watched as hurricanepaw stalked over to him, telling him that he was Swiftstreak's new apprentice. The male glared at the apprentice with dark blue eyes. "Whatever kid." Swiftstreak said coldly before walking off to the warriors den to rest alone. He was not keen on the idea of having an apprentice, as one died before at thunderclan, and he had no interest in windclan and his duties as a warrior, he sat down at the edge of the entrance looking out to the clan.

The gray apprentice watched his new mentor with his light gray eyes then sneered to himself. How pathetic he was moping over the loss of a lover. The apprentice had once been goofy and full of fun but he had been twisted into a dark and savage wolf. he turned heading for a border he wanted to rip some fur

(Dang, I had to visit a friend just long enough to miss a cute puppy scene? Well, I'll just wait for another nice scene in this quite-so serious clan, then .-.)

Brokenglare, who had dozed a little bit off, opened her eyes a little. She looked at some moss, which held small signs of paws sliding on it. Her tail seemed a little ruffled as well. "Seems I got a visit in my sleep...why won't they come while I'm awake?", she thought, her normal, awkward face showing a bit, finally getting the shadowy and depressed look away. She shook her fur and walked into the more central part of the camp, the middle. She then sat down and looked around for a bit. What was that bad feeling I had? The last time I felt something like that was....don't tell me... , she thought mildly scared of the memories of the Azazel attack. Calm yourself, Brokey, you're just jumping to conclusions, and why would Starclan do anything to your clan now? Haven't they taken away enough?, she thought, trying to calm herself from the dark thoughts. She laid down and relaxed, enjoying the wind blowing through her fur and the sound of birds singing.

(Brokey...now I'm gonna have that name stuck in my head for some time...)
