WindClan Camp

Heather star watched the jet black male intently as his nervous state became apparent to her, and she wriggled her ears, just waiting. Finally, when his question eventually reached her white tipped ears she felt something inside of her lurch violently, and for a moment the small leader was dumb found. Stunned beyond words for a couple of moments the fae let herself relax, feeling a smile beginning to form upon her muzzle. Never could she of imagined that this was what Swiftstreak had been planning to ask her, and she couldn't have wished for anything else. "Of course." She muttered equally, joy and emotion filling her gaze as she looked up at him. "Yes, of course I will be."

Jadefeather nodded in agreement to Barkstripe. Noticing a body slip out of camp, she recognised the dark furred wolf and narrowed her eyes thoughtfully. "Hurricanpup's escaped." she barked jokingly with a cheeky smile and got to her feet. She'd better go make sure the pup was okay and bring him back to camp.

The large black male got up with a sighed as he decided to let off some steam. The male decided he would go on patrol. Swiftstreak was already at the camp entrance as he turned he's back. The male walked off towards the thundercland and windclan boarder to look around.

The apprentice was still upset. He saw the warriors fighting. She ran over and said,"Will you just Shut up! It dosn't matter!"

Spottedheart gazed around rather boredly as everyone continued in their normal morning routines. Several Warriors trotted out of camp, and Duskfang and Swiftstreak argued for a short period of time, which never was out of the ordinary for them. The She-wolf then yawned and padded to the Fresh-kill pile. "Wow, I haven't eaten since yesterday morning!" She thought, selecting a plump hare. "I'm so hungry, I could probably eat a whole horse!" Taking her hare over by her den, Spottedheart sat down and started gobbling down the juicy meat.

Brokenglare yawned. She felt kind of tired after worrying that much. It's okay, Heatherstar will be okay, it's just shock..., the female thought to herself and calmed down. She walked over to a grassy spot next to the edge of the camp and layed down. She looked at the sky and relaxed. After a while it will all return to normal, no insanity will ever break down Windclan, ever..., she thought and smiled.

Barkstripe nodded to Brokenglare as she padded away. He was wondering what was taking Jadefeather. He blinked and flicked his ears. He felt the cooling sun in his back. The sky was slowly rising to morning. He shrugged and walked out of camp. Hoping to to do something. And find Jadefeather.
-Wind-over Moor-

Okami blinked her black eyes andstood stretching luxuriously. deciding that she would go on a walk she snorted deciding where she would go. with a flick of her white and black tail she turned her paws toward heading for the badger sett. she marched off.

Brokenglare looked down at the ground again. Maybe I should go hunting a little, it's been a while since I last did that..., she thought. The female stood up and shaked her fur. I should probably stop worrying and start doing my duty as a warrior instead., she thought and padded off to the moors.

~Windover moor~

Heatherstar regarded the dog with a curious twinkle in her eyes, waiting for Breezeoaw to give a reply of some kind or offer her opinion. As much as the small leader was eager to help her apprentice, there was a more pressing matter that needed to be attended to. With SunClan no longer joined in allegiance with WindClan, they remained vulnerable and gave the impression of easy prey. The honey coated fae dearly needed to seek out and strike a reliable deal with another Clan leader, and had set her mind upon ThunderClan as the most trustworthy and beneficial offer WindClan had. As soon as the meeting finished, she and a warrior would travel to ThinderClan's camp to propose her offer to Firestar.

Breezesoul saw that is was a full moon. Time for the gathering. "Eferyone it is time for the gathering!" She ran out of camp. She ran all the way to the four trees.

Heatherstar watched Breezesoul as she exited her den without paying attention to what the honey coated leader had said, the blank expression returning to her face as se turned her head slowly to face the wall opposite. She stared thoughtlessly at the wall for a long while, her eyes looker somewhere into the distance on the other side of it as if she could see right through it. That would be nice... She commented silently to herself, still staring unblinkingly at the cave wall. To see through solid objects...
She sat there for what could have been hours or a few seconds, relishing on the calming blackness that drifted through her confused and muddled mind. Awaking from her odd daydream with an involuntary jump, the small female rose quietly to her paws and padded wordlessly from her den, the lost expression still clouding her eyes although her body showing all signs of it's usual, attentive self. It was a very odd sight. "Gathering...yes." She repeated dreamily to herself as she ambled towards the camp entrance, her tail swaying lazily from side to side. "Yes, yes. All come along now." She called in er mistiest voice, continuing trough the gorse tunnel and out across the moor towards Four Trees.

Spottedheart jerked awake and looked around. "I must have fallen asleep again." She thought gazing down at the half eaten hare next to her paws. In the corner of her eyes, the She-wolf saw Heatherstar trot out of camp. "Must be time for the gathering again." Spottedheart thought and quickly finished her hare. She then stood up and padded towards Four trees.

Raggedfur woke with a start, instantly releasing an onslaught of curses as he realized he'd dozed off and missed the start of the gathering. The large wolf rose to his paws, shaking himself vigorously and willing the undertones of his sleepiness to vanish. Raising his black muzzle to the air, the male inhaled deeply, more irritation flaring up in him as he realized morning would dawn before long. The gathering would be over by the time he ended up at fourtrees, and Raggedfur clawed at the ground in irritation. It wasn't like he was looking forward to seeing anyone, because every wolf oughta know that if they approached him unpermitted, they'd get their ears shredded, Windclan or not. No, Raggedfur had just been wanting to see what would be shared. After Windclan and Sunclan's trainwreck attempt of a battle, something interesting was liable to happen. Ah, well. At least he wouldn't have to congregate with a bunch of idiots.

Okami returned to camp a couple of mice in her jaws, she walked over to ragged and dropped one infront of him before lying down and gnawing on her own one. her silentness a peace offering. she actually enjoyed the grouchy wolfs company and she was curious about him. not to mention that she felt funny whenever she was around him. she wanted to explore this feeling, whenever she was around the irratable warrior she felt more whole and less hollow. she blatantly ignored the traitor Tallfeather.

Raggedfur had dozed into a sort of unawareness, his eyes roaming the outskirts of camp, and he jumped as he realized a wolf was in front of him. Raggedfur was opening his mouth to snap something rude as he registered the mouse at his feet, but his jaws inexplicably snapped shut as he realized it was Okami. He didn't know why he held back his snappish words, because Raggedfur had never done that to anyone before, not even his brother. The large wolf didn't pursue the thought, though, instead shooting the female a side wards glance as she tucked into her meal. "You feelin' okay?" He asked gruffly, pawing somewhat wearily at the prey before him.

"yeah, decided not to go to the gathering though, last time i went i got hit by a thunderstick, best to be safe than sorry" she said, she didnt mention that the wound in her shoulder gave her aches sometimes. the scab on her shoulder looking better, clean and healthy not oozing puss. her red markinged face looked up at ragged curiously before she asked "so how come you didnt go to the gathering?" her voice was polite as she watched him with her black eyes, they didnt look like dead fish eyes anymore. which had to be a good sign.

Raggedfur's ears twitched as he remembered that incident. He hadn't gone to that gathering either - it seemed the Windclan male always found an excuse to miss out on the huge congregation - but it didn't take an idiot to know what had happened when Okami had been all but dragged into camp, blood pulsating out her thick, jagged wound while half a dozen wolves swarmed around her, panicking and barking out orders. The slightest tinge of guilt pinpricked at his insides as he remembered how little he'd cared - in fact, Raggedfur had instantly retired to the warriors den and dozed off as one of his clanmates bled their life out not twenty pawsteps away from him. Raggedfur wondered if things would be different, now - if he would just go to sleep if Okami got herself potentially fatally wounded. Any other time he would have doubted it, but now, with the female sitting right beside him, Raggedfur couldn't bring himself to give a definite answer. He craned his neck and took a huge bite out of the mouse, the prey a welcome distraction from his troubled thoughts.

It took Raggedfur a while to forumate a response for Okami's question. He tried not to show how much her words bothered him, but he couldn't stop the initial tiny shudder that ran up his spine. Raggedfur had never been comfortable at gatherings, or any other crowded event. Too many wolves, too much social interaction. It all got under his skin, made him tense, writhed his insides as if they were infested with worms. Stormtussle had always been the one that liked to romp and socialize and play - Raggedfur was the polar opposite. It seemed that the only time Raggedfur would permit himself to be around other wolves was during battle - and even then, said wolves ended up on the receiving end of his wrath. "Fell asleep." Raggedfur quickly answered, swallowing his mouse to shoot Okami another furtive glance. "You go?"

She shook her head "nah, as i said before, better not to risk it. Besides things in the clans are too tense. id rather stay at camp unless a battle happens" she flicked her tail tearing off the mouses head and devouring it in a quick few chomps. "i wonder if i could use my looks to intimidate other wolves in battle... after all im not the most nromal looking wolf of the clans" in truth she was probbaly the weirdest looking one. however she licked her chops and continued eating. a comfortable pause stretched out before she said "if theres a battle you planning to join it?" she was pondering asking Ragged if he could help her train a little. her mentor hadnt really focused on fighting.

Raggedfur didn't meet Okami's gaze as she spoke, but silently pondered her words. Had her injury traumatized her so much that she feared going out in the territories, even under the safety of the full moon truce? The thought sparked the slightest anger inside of Raggedfur, and for a moment the male found himself resenting the humans that had shot Okami - and the wolves that had let her get hurt. Then he caught up with himself and was instantly confused, blinking as he tried to interpret his own thoughts. Luckily, he was saved as the female spoke up again. "You look fine," He said dismissively, swallowing another mouthful of mouse. More than fine. "Might, though I reckon Sunclan ain't much of an enemy, ain't it? They backed out of fightin' last time - who says it ain't gonna happen again?"

She gave a soft laugh "yeah, they are a pack of cowards.. i hesitate to call them a clan". she slurped up the mouse tail watching him she asked "if you have any spare time iw as wondering if you could drill me in some fighting moves? sandwing didnt teach me many of those, we focused more on hunting and such". her red markings seemed to shimmer under the light of the full moon. the plate that radiated heatless flames on her back adding to her odd appearance. her black eyes watched the grouchy warrior with slight amusement, she found his company enjoyable. she pondered why she felt so open about him, had she really gotten over tallfeathers betrayal so easily. her fur bristled ever so slightly as she thought about tallfeather, that acursed traitor, he couldnt have a mate in windclan oh no he thought he was too good for windclan.

Raggedfur nodded slowly, the edge of his muzzle quipping in the beginnings of a grin at Okami's equally venomous words. He finished the rest of his mouth in a few effortless chomps, remembering that he had yet to thank Okami for the meal, but as he opened his mouth to speak he was interuppted by her request that he train her for the possibly impending battle. Raggedfur tensed at the very thought. He'd never been a mentor to a clumsy, inept child, much less a fully grown warrior, and one that he actually felt comfortable around, god forbid. Much less, when was the last time Raggedfur had actually helped another wolf or shown compassion to them, minus his brother? Raggedfur supposed he could consider Okami more than an accquantiance, but helping someone out was what friends did, and would he really go so far as to consider his budding relationship with the she-wolf as friendship? Raggedfur didn't have friends, and every wolf in Windclan - heck, every wolf that had ever laid eyes on him - knew that. Raggedfur didn't want that to change, either. Somehow, though, the inner turmoil that was plauging his insides wasn't in control of his outer movements, and before he knew what he was doing, Raggedfur raised his broad head to look at Okami and he said gruffly "Yeah, that'd be fine."

Feeling like she was talking to much the white fae shut up and rested her head on her paws. her muzzle slightly stained with blood from the mouse. licking her chops to try and cleanse the blood off her white ears perked. she wouldnt pester raggedfur she would let him decide when they would begin practising. the white wolf flicked an ear back hearing some rustling in the bushes. shrugging she rested her head on her paws again. her black eyes half closing.
