Where it marks the border of Riverclan, and where most of our clanmates to come and hunt fishes during the spring. The stepping stones are only reachable in the Late Spring and Early Summer.

Slypup followed Honeysplash as far as he could but lost her while sniffing somthing interesting and had to follow her sent to the river. Finally getting there he ran the last few steps and couldn't slow down in time to stop before hitting the frozen river and sliding out really far. Trying to get back to land he stood up and slipped to fall down agian. Getting scared and now being stuck on the river.

Honeysplash stood immediatly, she frowned and called out "sink your claws into the ice and claw your way back to the bank". she stopped at the edge of the bank, she then began slowly walking onto the ice, her tail stuck out behind her as she balanced uneasily. she moved over and gently grabbed slypups scruff and retreated back to the bank. she gently set him down.

"Thank you" slypup mumbled. Not liking to embarress himself on his first day out. Looking down with his tail low, he sat down and tried to think of how to be better in the future. plus he had no idea what would have happended if the ice broke. soon he was thinking about what he could explore in this new place and stepped back out to look at the river but made sure he didn't get to close.

Honeysplash gently wrapped her tail around him and fluffed it up around the pup. she murmured softly "do you want to go back to camp deary?". Her ears perked and she looked down at the pup gently down at him. her brown eyes glittered kindly as she gently lowered her head as she licked his head.

Slypup looked back at river and shivered a little bit. He noded back at Honeysplash instead of replying. He knew he would have to come back later and face his weakness but that didn't mean that had to be today. Besides he was exhuasted and could use some food.

Honeysplash smiled kindly and gently nuzzled the little pup, her eyes glittered with affection for the pup. Honeysplash always had a weak spot for pups. she stood and gently picked up the pup by his scruff. moving gently over the land she walked back to the stormclan camp

Sparrowheart arrived at the river, her eyes locked on it as she gently lapped off the water. She had a small smile on her face, but the curiosity of who the father of Skyfeather's pups was. But she ignored it, she sat down, with a focus in her eyes. She needed some quality time with her mate before she had to retire to the nursery for 9 long moons. 3 before they were born and 6 until they became apprentices.

Creekfire padded nearer to the river. He stopped beside Sparrowheart, their pelts brushing. He was still shaking slightly, his amber eyes hollow. "How are you feeling?" he asked, burying his mussel in her fur.

Sparrowheart looked at his affectionately. "I'm doing just fine Creekfire." She whispered in his ear. His muzzle in her fur, she smiled.

Creekfire pulled his mussel away to speak. "Sorry. I'm just nervous. I didn't know that you would have to go through so much pain." He cared deeply for the fae, and he didn't want to hurt her. "Skyfeather seems like she was in a whole lot of pain. I couldn't bear it if that were you."

Sparrowheart nudged him gently, she knew that when the time came, she too would be in pain. "It won't be as bad as it was for Skyfeather my dear. I'll be ready for it, she wasn't." She whispered the gentle coo in his ear. He just needed to relax. "Don't mind it, in the end, we'll have gorgeous little pups of our own, and they will grow to be like we are now, warrior, maybe even a deputy, a medicine wolf, maybe a leader. They may be parents even." She told him.

Creekfire smiled at the thought of what great ranks their pups could achieve. "Being grandparents....wow." He never thought that their pups could one day become grandparents of their own. "I wonder what they'll look like," he wondered aloud.

Sparrowheart nodded, no one ever thought about being a grandparent until it actually happened in the long run. "No one ever thinks about it. I'm sure the pups will be as beautiful and strong. Just like they're father." She said, a small pain in her stomach, but she shook it off. It was just her cramps. She'd been getting them for a while, since she found out.

Creekfire smiled. "And I'm sure they'll be as lovely and sweet as their mother." He licked her ear affectionately. His eyes widened as he saw Sparrowheat's muscles give a quick flex, in the result of a cramp. "How long until they're due? Has Owlscreech told you yet?"

Sparrowheart smiled as his words filled her ears. "2 moons, I was told there are about 7 of them. Owlscreech said with... with such a large litter there may be 1 or 2 born stiff." She whispered, it saddened her to know that some would die inside her.

Creekfire felt her grief pulse from her in waves. He pressed his side against hers, twining his tail around hers. "Think about it like this: at least we'll have 4 or 5 perfect little pups, all ours." He pushed his mussel into her fur, hoping that he would take away most of her grief.

Sparrowheart nodded, but she respectfully disagreed. "We'll have 7 perfect little pups, just some will be so perfect that StarClan will want them back." She said, her opinions stated clearly in the matter. "I have to move into the nursery soon too. A few days." She whispered, that was the end of her freedom, her stomach was noticeable swelling.

Creekfire pulled away, smiling. "Well, we might as well make the most of it now. How about a quick hunt, so you can get it out of your system before being cooped up in a room with Skyfeather." He teased her playfully.

Sparrowheart smiled and nudged him a bit. She stood up, wobbling a little bit as she was not use to the weight she carried. "Who's the father anyways?" She asked, talking about Skyfeather.

Creekfire's face remained blank. "I'm not sure actually. After we catch some prey, how about we head back to camp and see how she's doing?" He secretly wondered who the father was as well, although it wasn't such a pressing matter to him now, as he was much more concerned about Sparrowheart and their pups.

Sparrowheart nodded to her mate, she rarely spoke to anyone anymore. She nodded, or she did something that did not involve talking. She simply had nothing to say. "Yes, perhaps we could bring something back for her, a special treat." She suggested to her mate. She scented around, some small prey, but nothing big.

Creekfire lifted his head, sniffing the air. Very little prey was around. "How about we fish instead?" he asked, motioning to the River. He padded over to the bank, peering down into the water, spotting many fish floating around lazily.

Graystar trotted over to the river at a slow pace, stopping nearby the shore. She looked back, waiting for Achakpaw to appear. Glancing back over at the river, she noticed Creekfire and Sparrowheart to be nearby, seemingly hunting for some prey. It was Leafbare, although she hoped that the river wouldn't be too cold so she would be able to teach her apprentice of some fishing techniques. She was glad to have another apprenice; he would be her third apprentice, and from her experience she would teach Achakpaw what he wanted to learn.

Creekfire smiled warmly as Graystar appeared from the forest. "Hello, Graystar!" he called quietly, not wanting to disturb the fish, alerting them that predators were near-by. The large gray male gave a flick of his tail. He admired Graystar. Ever since he was a young pup, he had dreamed of being a strong, good leader like Graystar. Shadestar was okay, but he was a bit...moody, for his liking. The soon-to-be father turned back to the river, crouching down as he fixed his amber eyes on a particuarly large trout.

Sparrowheart smiled as one of the leaders arrived. "Greetings Graystar, what brings you to the river this fine morning?" She asked calmly, her eyes curious of why her leader was here. Granted she liked being in the presence of Graystar, the wolf was nice.
