The River

Where it marks the border of Riverclan, and where most of our clanmates to come and hunt fishes during the spring. The stepping stones are only reachable in the Late Spring and Early Summer.

(Gonna have her birth now, one will die in birth and one is stillborn. The others can start to be RPed soon. Born 2 weeks yearly from the original due date)

Sparrowheart smiled as she discovered Graystar had received an apprentice. "Congratulations, I'm sorry we missed the ceremony." She said, an apology given as well. She felt a sharp pain in her stomach, this was much stronger then the others. It made her yelp in surprise. "Gosh, they must really be kicking hard, that one was much stronger then the others." She said as she sat down. It felt weird.

(Actually, I'll buy a pup since no one will buy it)

Creekfire's claws flashed out, hooking the trout and hauling it onto the shore. He slashed its gills, killing it. He turned his head at Sparrowheart's words, concern flashing in his deep amber eyes. He padded over to her, the fish clamped firmly in its jaws. "Are you okay? Do you need to rest? Do you need to eat? Should we go back to camp?" He pelted her with questions, still not used to he was going to be a father.

Sparrowheart smiled as it kicked again. "I probably just need some rest. Getting back to camp might be good. They're... they're starting to. t- AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" The last part was a scream of pain. "Their.Coming." She told him urgently. the commotions inside of her coming and going just like the contractions. She looked for help from her leader or her mate. She closed her eyes and tried to think pretty thoughts. But they wouldn't appear. Just the pain.

Sparrowheart nodded, hoping that Creek would be back soon. She needed him and that was final, it meant that he would be a father with pups that are alive. She was concerned greatly with the fact that she was delivering. Another wave of pain went through her.

Sparrowheart went and licked her mate's ear when he returned. As Brackenpaw told her to push, she did so. It went in patterns so she was at least somewhat prepared for what was coming. The first little pup was delivered.

Brackenpaw arrived and spoke when she saw her. "Push when there is pain." He instructed. He licked the pup as it was delivered and pushed it at her belly. It had a twisted paw, but that was to be looked at later.

Sparrowheart pushed as another contraction hit. Many more hit and the rest of the pups were born. She had a sigh to her. The rest were born normal, except that frist one witht he twisted paw. They resided by her belly as they gently suckled the milk. She was exhausted.

Brackenpaw sighed as it was done. He started to examine the paw, so they knew what happened to it. "It appears that the pup with the twisted paw developed as part of another one of the pups. Then it divided, much like a twin and when it split, it's paw developed weird. The rest are fine however. We need to get them back to camp too." He said, they shouldn't be in the snow at this stage.

Brackenpaw nodded, he looked at Sparrowheart as she had a fierce protectiveness to her over her pups. She would be able to make it back to camp. Creekfire also had the protectiveness. "Alright, I can carry one. I don't want to risk Sparrowheart carrying one. Giving birth will barely give her the strength to get herself back before she falls asleep." He said to Creekfire. He picked up Brindlepup and he put 2 pups on his back. that meant either Creek needed to carry the other 4 or they would have to have Sparrowheart carry one.

Sparrowheart listened, the science was evident and Brackenpaw sounded so confident. She had done nothing wrong then. She was worried it was something she had done. "I can carry one Brackenpaw. I'm not as tired as so say you are. I could carry two, but I will at least carry one." She told him, a sharp and scolding tone. She preferred to carry the pups she had had in her stomach for 9 moons.

Brackenpaw started off the camp to get these pups to a warm nursery. He smiled, there was so much new life it was crazy. He wondered what it would be like if he wasn't a medicine wolf. No, he hated fighting.

Sparrowheart had to listen to the medicine wolf. "Of what Brackenpaw says is true, I think it's best if I carry one of them." She said picking up the pup with the twisted paw. "We will name them back at the nursery." She said through the muzzled sound of her voice.

-Camp for both-

Goldenpup was first. Beat ya! she thought, looking back. D-Did I go the wrong way? No, the river is here. He must just be slow!

Eaglepup had gotten there first and had hidden behind a tree in wait. He jumped out and grolwed trying to scare Goldenpup. He instantly got distracted by the river in the distant. "wow, Thats amazing !" He crept closer to the river to get a better look.

Goldenpup squeaked. "Don't get too close! You might fall in!" she said in a concerned voice. She backed away. Why did I speak?!?!? She looked at her paws.

eaglepup looked back and smilled. He backed up just for her but he looked back at the river. He hadn't heard Goldenpup talk yet and it sounded cute. He walked back to her and sat down."I'm fine don't worry. I woundn't fall in." he said. He wasn't worried about anything. Nothing could scare him! He batted his paw at her face to make her look up.

Goldenpup looked up. She silently nosed him then blushed a but under her fur. She looked back at her paws, the wind was blowing. Yet, it was warm. New-leaf...

Eaglepup rolled over onto his back and layed down onto Goldedpup's paws so she had to look at him when she looked down. "Whatcha lookin at?" He laughed and grinned. He tried to nip at her chin.

Darkpup raced into the clearing and looked around, still growling angrily. There you are! He thought when he spotted the pup that had rammed into him. He ran over to the pup, whom was on the ground, and jumped on him, pinning him down. "You'll pay for knocking me over, puny!" He barked in the other pups face. Darkpup began lashing out with his paws, using his much larger size to keep the other pup pinned down.

Goldenpup tilted her head. "You." she said simply. She didn't really want to talk. She hated talking.
She looked up as Darkpup ran into Eaglepup. "Hey!" she yelled, latching onto Darkpup and on his back.[tried] "Stay off him!" she said, in an anger never unleashed before. She was in a rage.

Darkpup just shrugged Goldenpup off and continued attacking Eaglepup. After a bit, he turned to Goldenpup and barked, "Get out of here! This is none of your business!" He lashed a paw out at her and turned back to the pup whom he had pinned down. It was not unusual at all that Darkpup got angry. Especially when someone did something like what Eaglepup had.
