Fourtrees #1

First topic message reminder :

Fourtrees is a group of four tall oak trees that the Clan wolves have held their Gatherings at since the early days of the Clans. Fourtrees is described as neutral territory, and is often used when wolves from different Clans want to meet outside a Gathering. There is a large rock in the middle of Fourtrees called the Great Rock.The Clan leaders use it to look down on the Clans and share their news during Gatherings

Jaystreak stared at leader collapsing. She yawned and passed out as well.

Around her bodies fell; musing quietly into the ground, they delved into sleep. A smile passed her face as she watched the smug wolf from earlier and who was from a rival group fall. Knowing she had outlasted most of the wolves, she confidently fell too, and succumbed to sleep.

Riversong listened to the leaders announcements and watched as a few fell to the ground asleep. She glanced where some had been looking, and felt her eyelids drop, before he legs gave under her weight. She felt herself drift into sleep.

Nightfeather watched in shock as Shadestar collapsed, unaware of what was happening for a few seconds until drowsiness came over her. She tried to fight it and stay awake, but it was just too much. She hardly felt it when she herself collapsed, and the last things she saw before she fell asleep were the bodies of other wolves quickly giving in to the phenomenon that had overtaken everyone who had gathered. She didn't even have time to question the occurrence.

Leafpup felt drowsiness sweep over her as she watched Shadestar fall to the ground. Fighting to stay awake, she could bare it no longer. She callopsed to the cold ground as well, and her eyes closed. The ones around her were in her same position, drifting away at Fourtrees.

Apache's did not have time the congratulate his friend on becoming Shadestar's apprentice when his leader suddenly collapsed. He Skypup and Nightfeather to fell panic took control, but such emotions were soon cast aside as an overwhelming dizziness caused him to stumble and fall. Eyelids weighed down by an overpowering urge to sleep began to close, darkening the apprentice's world until he lost complete consciousness.

Jetpup continued to watch the Clan Leaders gathered on the rock, and blinked in surprise when one by one, not only the leads, but the other wolves began to suddenly and randomly drop off to sleep, one by one. Flattening his ears, he felt the overwhelming sense of sleepiness wash over him as well, and although he tried to fight it off, being so small, he couldn't control it and slump down, asleep before he hit the ground.

Shadestar sat on top of the leader rock, watching the others intently. It was true, when he had awoken, everyone was still asleep. He wondered what they had dreamed of, what they had saw. Perhaps something happy. His was not. In his, he committed suicide by jumping into the gorge and the whole forest had been destroyed.

Skypup slowly blinked her eyes open to see everything in the forest green and right. She sucked in a a deep breath and sat up quickly, but quickly regretted it as her head went white and she fell back down. The she-wolf let out a groan and shut her eyes tight. At least everything was fine right now. Except the sleeping canines around her.

When Tallpup felt solid ground beneath his body and warm wind ruffling his pelt, he thought he was in the clutches of Starclan. It wasn't until he opened his eyes, however, that he realized the true absurdity of everything that had happened. Gasping in alarm, Tallpup flung himself to his paws, looking around wildly. Sleeping figures were strewn across the clearing, and the forest was back to its usual shades of green and brown. His fur was dry, and he most certainly wasn't dead; Tallpup collapsed in a heap as he realized it had all been a dream. His judgement had been correct; the wolves that had thrown themselves into the gorge hadn't been committing suicide, but escaping from the throes of the horrific dreamland.

Silverpup shot up everything snapping into place. She sighed with relief at the green scenery and everyone still sleeping. It was true it was a dream more or less a nightmare. Sitting up grooming her pelt she shook the dream and glanced around her waiting to see more of the wolves reviving.

Magmapup suddenly woke up. That was an odd dream, he thought. Leaders jumping into the gorge, the forest destroyed, and general chaos. 'Why had Starclan done this to them?' he thought. Making sure he didn't fall asleep again, he waited for the rest of the wolves to wake up.

Nightfeather gasped as she awoke and stood up in what seemed like one swift movement. She looked around her, the sights of unburned trees and living (although many still sleeping) wolves helping the dark wolf to recover from the shock of falling, and the shock of waking from such a realistic dream. Slowly, she sunk back down into a lying position, her eyes on the ground. The dream felt so real, how was it even possible for something fake to be so life-like? As if that question wasn't enough, the question of why everyone had suddenly fallen asleep at a Gathering still hung in her mind. Still, she was happy to be back in the real world, and grateful that the rocks in the dream-world had given way and allowed her to awake.

Skypup slowly reopened her eyes. Her head was still a little dizzy but she ignored it. She got up until she was laying down on her stomach and looked around. A few wolves were waking alongside here, so they must have figured out it was a dream also/ That was good. Maybe the others would catch along.

The leader was already back and awaken when everyone slowly began to as well. Rolling her eyes, Lilystar actually believed the dream, but she had over come it by actually dying. Seeing other;s curiosity, the leader just sat on the rock and awaited for everyone in her clan to wake up.

Grayheart yelped, quickly sitting up, and she looked around with wide eyes. She was at the Fourtrees; did the river bring her here? She noticed some of the wolves around her were sleeping- that was strange, didn't most wolves wake up already? Grayheart then sighed, realizing what had probably happened; it was just a dream. A very long, scary dream. A dream, nonetheless. Slowly standing up on her paws, the she-wolf looked around, wondering if this were real or not. As she stepped forward, Grayheart stepped on a bramble bush, not watching where she was heading. The RiverClan warrior quickly stepped backwards, tilting her head. That hurt... but the other dream was realistic as well. Grayheart sighed. When she woke up just moments ago, the warrior had been in the same place before she had fallen asleep, still other wolves were sleeping now, and a lot of those awake seemed as startled as she did. The forest was normal, as well; and didn't seem burnt like a fire had passed through. If that were all true, then this would have been real, but still Grayheart wanted to be sure.

The she-pup sighed and shook her head slightly. That was really weird, but it all had to have been real. Everyone else around her seemed to have been there, experienced it too. However had done this two them must have known what that substance sprayed would have done. So why did they do it?

As more and more wolves woke up, Magmapup's hope grew and he became more and more sure that no one had actually died. Seeing that Lilystar was awake, he calmly waited for her to lead Riverclan back to their camp.

Grayheart glanced around, sighing. This certainly seemed real; it made more sense than had this still been part of the dream. She was finally awake, and no longer in a dream. She noticed other wolves began to wake up; and noticed that Lilystar had, as well. A few others of her Clan had as well. Sitting down and thinking back at everything that had happened, Grayheart waited for Lilystar or another leader to say something.

Tallpup's hopes grew as he saw other wolves stirred, re-awakening from the terrible dreamland that had plagued them. Though he didn't see Stonestar, or any other members of Windclan, Tallpup had faith that they'd turn up just like the others. Looking around curiously, he wondered what he should do now.

Skypup sat up and looked around at the other wolves. Only Nightfeather and Shadestar seemed to be awake from her Clan. She then spotted a tan pup a little ways away. She really didn't want to be alone right now but also didn't want to bother any grown wolf, so she got up and walked over to the wolf - WindClan by the breezy scent- and sat next to him, "What do you think happened?" she whispered, not wanting to really break the silence.

Tallpup barely noticed as he was approached by an unfamiliar wolf, and he jumped when she spoke. He didn't respond right away, trying to detect her clan, and eventually he assumed she was from Shadowclan. Despite his anexity at speaking to a wolf from a different clan, he was glad he had someone to talk to. After going through such a shaking experience, loneliness really didn't appeal to him. "I don't know." Tallpup muttered, casting the pup a side wards glance. "Do you think everyone will be okay?"

Skypup hung her head slightly before looking at the stranger pup again, "I don't know either. What if they don't figure it out? What if they don't make it?" she whimpered pathetically. Apachepaw, Lightningpaw, and all her other Clans mates were still asleep and she wondered if they would ever wake up.

The Shadowclan pup's words sent a pang of fear into his heart. "They'll be fine." Tallpup said uneasily, trying to soothe her worries as well as his own. As far as he could see, none of his clan had yet to pass through the barrier between the dream world and the waking world -- what if it stayed that way? "Whats your name?" Tallpup asked hurriedly, trying to distract himself.

She looked looked over at her laying clan mates before looking back at the pup and answering his question, "Skypup," she muttered, "And yours?" Sky questioned back.
