Fourtrees #1

Fourtrees is a group of four tall oak trees that the Clan wolves have held their Gatherings at since the early days of the Clans. Fourtrees is described as neutral territory, and is often used when wolves from different Clans want to meet outside a Gathering. There is a large rock in the middle of Fourtrees called the Great Rock.The Clan leaders use it to look down on the Clans and share their news during Gatherings

The creature arrived to Fourtrees in some haste; her face wrinkling at the mass of beasts that crowded the area. Odors and familiar accomplices clouded her nostrils. This was the most interesting place she had ever seen. Without some sarcasm, it would have been a sincere thought. But it was not.

Skypup also sat down and looked around at the other wolves. We may all come from different Clans she thought But we all look and act pretty much the same. Sky's ears twitched at the surrounding noises such as crickets and frogs in the night. She sighed at waited for the Gathering to begin.

The leader smiled at the warrior. "Don't fret. All wolves have their own way." She said with a light chuckle following her sentence.

Apache lowered his head even further as Night continued to berate him, he said nothing merely accepting her words. To back talk her would show disrespect and embarrass her in front of the Riverlcan leader, both of which he would never do to her. He would not try nd explain that it was simply his way of showing the utmost respect to a she-wolf, or that he had learned such things from his parents and how they treated one another as well as the wolves around them. He knew it wold be futile and rude, and so he simply sat there head bowed.

Cherryblossom sighed impatiently, realising her leader obviously couldn't make it. She cleared her throat and stood up, looking towards the Riverclan leader. "Swiftstar unfortunatly cannot attend, so... i will take their place." she said 'what am i doing?' she thought to herself, she felt nervous. She walked slowly toward the rock and climbed up onto it, sitting up straight.

Looking beside her, a new warrior jumped up in place of Swiftstar. "So I see you are the deputy?" Lilystar inquired the younger warrior with a small smile swept across her face.

Words passed by her ears, and word after word they began to paint an immaculate story of the lives of these wolves. Tales of rivalries were among the more intriguing subjects, and forever was she tempted to ease in on the conversations that wrapped around her small frame.

Jaystreak yawned a bit wanting to do something. She had always wanted to be a leader of something but it never came true. As she ran into her thoughts, she almost fell asleep. When CherryBlossom spoke up, Jaystreak has s jealousy look on her face and growled to herself.

Jetpup awoke with a start, not realizing he had fallen asleep. Shaking his head, he quickly sat up, blinking his eyes wearily. He certainly hoped he hadn't missed the meeting, and now became frustrated with himself. 'Falling asleep during an important time like this,' he thought to himself angrily. 'And with me wanting to be a great Warrior,' he thought again, shaking his head to himself. He now looked around him to see what was going on.

A new figure blistered the gnarly tree and took place of a leader, so her words revealed. New was it to Coathonor, so she dipped her head in acknowledgement of a peculiar accomplishment. Though she didn't quite understand the importance of a deputy, she understood it was something under a leader and took the place of such a leader when needed. She marveled at their structure.

A hinge of jealously she could feel whirling around her; it was carried by an unknown stranger. This she shrugged off, but she stood alert, scanning the wolves for the possessor.

She politely bowed her head just slightly at the Riverclan leader, and replied "Yes, i guess i am. My name is Cherryblossom." she said calmly, she looked down at all of the wolves from the other clans and blinked, her lime green eyes showing nothing.

Jaystreak turned her attention to Jetpup. "You finally woke up. " She smiled licking the pup on the head. The she-wolf had seemed to taken on a more motherly approach with the pup.

Apache was grateful for Cherryblossom's distraction as it meant Night was no longer focusing on him, of course being a polite as he was Apache was not about to leave his menor's side even if she might end up yelling at him later.

A ridiculous observation rang across the wolf's ears and she rose to meet it, teeth crossed delicately in a feathery growl.
"Anyone with eyes can see that the meeting will start. Observe their body language and all your questions will be answered like magic," she replied.

"Well then, welcome, Cherryblossom." Lilystar said with a small bow of her head. Looking around now, it seemed like Shadestar and Stonestar was staring into space.

Jetpup flattened his ears and made a face as he felt JayStreak lick his head. He wasn't too fond of being touched, even by his mother as he remembered, and would always exclude himself from any motherly behaviour that his parent had to give. Shaking out the fur on his neck, he looked up at JayStreak. "I wasn't asleep that long," he exaggerated, pouting out his bottom lip ever-so-slightly. He still cursed himself for falling asleep in the first place.

She nodded at Lilystar "Thankyou, Lilystar." she said, again calmly. She focused on the wolves below her and she hid her anxiety with a smile and a raised head.

Impatience crossed the realm of her face, poisoning her expression into a lax frown.
"To mislead one is to misguide all."

Jaystreak rolled her eyes at the new deputy. She looked around snorting to herself then glanced at Jetpup smiling. She replied, "Yeah I know. "

Again did she catch some resentment lingering in the air. She attributed it to a wolf of a different scent; possibly of a different "clan" as they called it in this new and forlorn world. Her eyes flew to the aggressor, and she huffed quietly under her breath.

Riversong, her attention being pulled from her small group, watched as more and more wolves appeared. She looks at the other two, who seemed to have fallen quiet as well. "I must take my leave. I hope to see you two later," She whispers, and walks away from them, and trots toward where her leader seemed to be. "Hello, Lilystar, and other leaders," She whispers, and dips her head.

Seeing Riversong approach, the leader smiled. "Hello, Riversong. The meeting is about to start." She said simply to the Riverclan warrior.
