Hawkpool didn't flinch away from Shadowlight's pity. She just lowered her head,her eyes were over-shadowed. What now? I don't have anything else to do around here. She flexed her claws,waiting for Copperstream to leave as well.

Copperstream paused thinking for a little before saying "keep busy" he turned and followed his mate, copper fur blowing about in the breeze. his copper eyes glittered as he moved himself along thinking about hawkpools sadness, he did not understand her sadness so pushed it out of his mind

Hawkpool noticed that Copper had left. She stood up and rolled she shoulders. She snarled and sank her claws in a tree. Tearing the bark away easily

Hawkpool had already noticed the setting sun. Also,it appeared with the full-moon. She growled and clawed at the ground. Its my only way of knowing. She then turned and heard out to the four great oaks. A determined look on her face.

The small blue apprentice made her way up sitting down, she noticed gouges in a tree and sniffed them being careful not to step over the border. She shrugged and looked at a tree, her eyes brightened a little as she noticed a low growing branch. as she was by herself she could try to be herself now, she leapt up clumsily and just managed to land on the branch. she clawed her way onto it and sat down on it panting a little.

Ravenclaw skidded to a stop beside the tree. He sniffed the air and frowned. "Looks like their using different methods of keeping scent on the border." He noticed the angry slashes made through the trees. He snorted. Whoever did it,seemed really angery. He sighed. "What a drag..." He glanced up at Aurapup. He shrgged and sat down. Landing on the big tree.

Aurapaw tilted her head down at the big wolf and queried "Why are you wasting your time on me" her voice was quiet yet cold as she inquired the other wolf. Sapphire eyes glittering like the night sky but without stars the dark blue apprentice waited.

Ravenclaw shrugged. He sat up and yawned. "Don't know." He then stood up and glanced at the little one. "Let's get back to camp. Something probably happened by now." He hopped up and grabbed her by her scruff. He then trotted back to camp. Holding the apprentice-sized pup in his jaws.

It didn't took so long for them to arrive. When she came she caught the scent of two of her clanmates - Ravenclaw and Aurapup. The female even spotted the small dark blue wolf in the distance. She had some issues with her earlier so she desided not to start new conflicts. "Well Duspaw, this is one of Stormclan's borders with Thunderclan. Far ago this was Shadowclan's and Thunderclan's one." the brown fae explained. Lunalight looked around carefully then she glanced at her pupil with her silver-grey eyes and spoke. "I want you to take a deep breath and tell me what exactly you smell."

Duskpaw stopped shortly, almost running into Lunalight before scanning her surroundings. With her mentor’s command, Duskpaw lifted her nose and breathed in the cool air, closing her eyes as she tried to designate each scent to its source. “I smell,” Duskpaw pauses for a moment, frowning as she concentrated. “I smell Thunderclan, I recognize it from the white wolf we saw at the river. And… and Aurapaw.” Duskpaw smelled another wolf wither her. It was definitely a Stormclan warrior, but it wasn’t Creekfire, Aurapaw’s mentor. “Another wolf was with her though, but I don’t remember whose scent it is.” She admits as she looks up to her mentor to see if she had guessed the scents correctly.

Luna was impressed. Duskpaw recognised the scents which made the warrior smile. "Very good! The scent of the wolf you don't know is Ravenclaw." the fae explained as she looked at the border. "Clans often send patrols to mark the borders and check for intruders." Luna mentioned to her pupil. The brown fae got near the morder and looked around carefully. There was not a single Thunderclanner which made the she-wolf calm. "It's important to remeber not to cross the border, never. You can do it only if you're escorting a Thunderclanner or if our leader asked you to.'' the wolf said as she looked at her apprentice. "When I was a pup we had a problem like this and it didn't end good for both clans, but that was far away before Stormclan was formed.'' Lunalight got Duskpaw and smiled gently. "Now I'll let you deside which border you want to visit."

Duskpaw listens intently to her mentor as she talks about patrols. She couldn’t wait to join her first patrol. Stifling a yawn Duskpaw thinks to herself, but hopefully I won’t be this tired. She returns her gaze to her mentor and smiles as she mentions the trouble she got in when she was young. When Lunalight looks at her silently, Duskpaw realizes that she asked her a question and flattens her ears, “Sorry Lunalight, what did you say?” Her exhaustion from exploring two entire territories was making her drift off.

Lunalight noticed how tired her apprentice is. The brown fae smiled and gently nudged the young one. "We're going back to camp. I think that our job today is done." The warrior was much larger than her pupil that's why she gently took her by the scruff and with careful steps she headed back to the camp. It was somehow strange, knowing that Duskpaw was an apprentice of Luna, yet she cared for her like her own pup.

Duskpaw lets out a relieved sigh as her mentor mentions going back to camp, she was exhausted and she was looking forward to resting in the apprentice den. She pads off with her mentor clumsily, her still pup-ish paws still weak. Duskpaw smiles gratefully as she is lifted off the ground by her mentor by the scruff, she appreciated how her mentor cared for her and she allowed herself to doze off slightly as she was carried to camp.

The frosty dame loped carefully to the border line, with her large tongue looming out of her mouth. Dude, this was one of the hottest summers EVER. Even her reflective white pelt couldn't save her from the tremendous amount of humidity that was here this Greenleaf. Silktuft slowly turned to her left as she wasn't too fond to crossing the border of Thunderclan today. Her hot breath escaped her maw as she walked along the area, scouting for prey on her side. Slowly, she heard a disturbance in the bushes. Her body lowered as she growled to herself slowly. Then, a fair sized hare jumped out, with leaves in its mouth. Having a snack? You're mine now. Quickly, she leaped up and dived toward the rabbit. It had heard her growling momentarily. The big eared prey ran, as Silktuft made a chase. She quickly thumped her large paws on the ground, before the female prey made a skidded u-turn. The frost white female did, only a bit of the dime like the rabbit. Her tongue hanging from her mouth. Suddenly, the hare crossed over the border of Thunderclan. Silktuft quickly stopped, skidding closely to the edge. "Fox-dung!" she yelled, stamping her foot. She wasn't risking to get caught in the middle of her act. Snorting, the small and lean dame trotted off, with her tail resting behind her; perhaps after playing with Dewpup, she could go fishing. He stomach rumbled as she walked slowly back to the camp of Stormclan.

Origamiheart made his way up to the border, dashing through th bushes until he finally made it. He gave a glance back, making sure she was on her way but not yet here before giving a gleeful jump. Alone he was a marvel, a pup a being who just wanted fun. He rolled on the ground for a few seconds before standing up and shaking out his pelt. The male sat down, straight and rigid as if nothing had happened.

Emberfeather dashed after the male, stopping at the borderline. She caught a glimpse of Origamiheart, leaping up off the ground and shaking out his pelt. Odd...Probably just rubbing his scent of the borderline... The russet fae revealed herself, sitting horizontally from him. She didn't say a word, and apparently he didn't either. She sat, unmoving besides the slight rise and fall of her chest. This would be their silent conversation.

Origamiheart cast a long look over the border before slight movement in the bushes caught his eye. He remained quiet and didn't move. His strength, being quiet and not moving. He froze and finally noticed it was just Emberfeather, his tense being faltered before dissipating. He continued his gaze over the border as if that would tell him something. The male shook himself out once more before comfortably laying on the floor. His head floppd in between his paws and his tail curled tightly around him.

Emberfeather peered up at the leafy canopy above them, the oaks and ashes beginning to weave in with pines. "Its lovely weather out today." The russet fae spoke softly trying not to disturb the scene. Her vibrant orange eyes, dulled with the grief of Copperstream and Shadowlight's death, slowly peered around the scene, flickering with a sparkle of joy.

Origami grunted his response, it was indeed a lovely day outside. He peered around without so much as moving his head. The green trees, the soft moss, the wet earth underpaw. The sweet smell of dew upon the new blades of grass and the ever so faint smell of a herd of deer. It was a lovely day indeed. The male, simple nodded though. He couldn't even bring himself to say yes or even utter is agreement. It was hard to break through this shell he had created and truly reveal who he was. He hadn't been like this, he transformed himself into it.

Emberfeather caught his nod out of the corner of her eye. Having a feeling that they would be sitting here for a while, the russet dame lied down, curling her dappled tail loosely around her. She rolled over on her side, head lolling to the left as her eyes studied the emerald canopy above them, the shadows dancing upon their pelts. "You wonder alot about things, don't you?" she muttered softly. "I often think about how wide the world is. Is it just us here? What lies beyond our borders? Is this as far as the world reaches, or are we just tiny specks compared to its vastness?" She sighed in content, not trying to coax an answer from the male. He would crack when he was ready to.

Origamiheart's ears perked as Ember spoke asking if he wondered much about things. He could only nod. Oh yeah he did. At times he'd just sit there and stare off into space, questions burning in his mind. "I often think about how wide the world is. Is it just us here? What lies beyond our borders? Is this as far as the world reaches, or are we just tiny specks compared to its vastness?" The male turned his head towards her at this. He had thought about that himself, but never reached a definite answer. He did have a theory, the sun would cross the sky, where would it go when it was night. It had to be illuminating another part of the world, right? The male spoke very softly, "We are mere specks." His voice sounded slightly different, a chuckle embedded at the end of it as if he was laughing. He never did that though.

Emberfeather nodded as well at his words. We are mere specks. She pondered over the thought, her mind tossing it around. "We could be, or we could not be," she said, her head tilted skyward. "I guess the world is just as big as your imagination."

Origamiheart thought about it. As big as our imagination. He 'hmmed' quietly and narrowed his eyes. How truly large was the world, how small were they compared to it? If the existed on this world, where did the world exist? These were all questions, that though he knew he would probably never get the answer to, he enjoyed asking. Slowly he nodded, "Could be."

Emberfeather rolled over on her back, paws relaxed as she gazed skyward. "What about the universe? All that blue during the day and blackness during the night? Up in Silverpelt? Where is that? How far away can it be? And if there is more to our world, surely there is more to theirs? And what lies beyond StarClan's borders? How wide is our world truely?"

Origamiheart listened carefully to the females words. He nodded in acknowledgement asking himself the same thing. for a brief second, Ori inhaled deeply before letting out the first relaxed sigh, since he had been around someone. Never had he relaxed with someone else. The male smiled and nodded once more, "Will we ever know?"
