Fourtrees #6

Fourtrees is a group of four tall oak trees that the Clan wolves have held their Gatherings at since the early days of the Clans. Fourtrees is described as neutral territory, and is often used when wolves from different Clans want to meet outside a Gathering. There is a large rock in the middle of Fourtrees called the Great Rock.The Clan leaders use it to look down on the Clans and share their news during Gatherings. Also, there is a small opening in the rock with a space big enough for many small pups to fit into.

Silentwhisper shook his head. "Hawkpool, Hawkpool. You really need to do your homework. Tigerstar was in Shadowclan not Stormclan. Silly, silly." He smirked. Then he padded away and sat in front of Highrock, getting the best seat in the house.

Shadowstorm gave it a small smirk, as much as he hated Shadestar, he had to admire the leading abilities of the leader. He sat next to Silentwhisper at the front, on the other side was Nightfeather. He wasn't going to miss this gathering, when would everyone else get here? Where was Direstar and Moonwhisper, where was Oakpaw and Ripplestone? Where were all the SunClan wolves?

Silentwhisper scratched his ear and yawned. "They were asking for it." He murmured. Then he watched Hawkpool and sighed. Why were Thunderclan wolves so annoying? He then licked his chest, making his chest fluffy.

The deputy let out a snort of somewhat amusement at the sight of a StormClan wolf arguing with some Thunderclan wolves. Watching as Shadowstorm went to sit beside the other wolf, she arched her back in a luxurious stretch before she too made her way up onto Great Rock. She padded over to the edge of the Rock and glanced at Shadestar. Sitting down she curled her tail around her paws and began to think about what would be announced when the other Leaders arrived.

Spottedpup padded out of the bushes and into the clearing. She was a bit nervous since this was her first gathering, but she was more excited. She hesitated before stepping out into the crowd of wolves. She scented wolves from all different clans. Spottedpup Sat down and wondered who to talk too.

Silverstone got to her paws and left Snowflower. She sat at the back alone and sighed. She then decided to lie down for a bit so she lay down and rested her head on her paws. Her body had created a shape in the snow so it looked like she was actually buried because her body was the same height as the snow and almost the same shade. She sighed again and breathed in the cold air.

Firespell looked up and saw Shadestar enter and leap up on the rock. She gave him a nod just before she saw Heatherpaw (frost) jump onto the rock too. Is Heatherpaw a leader now? Firespell thought and she smiled. Lots of wolves were coming in and the firey female was getting excited. The firey wolf looked at the pup and flicked her tail at her.

Spottedpup looked up and saw a Thunderclan wolf nearby. She got on to her paws. "I'll never meet anyone this way." She thought. Spottedpup then walked over to the wolf and smiled. "Hi!" she barked.

"Hello, I'm Firespell." The firey wolf's ears pricked up. "What's your name?" She could smell that the pup was in WindClan.

"Hi Firespell." She replied, "I'm Spottedpup." The wolf, she noticed smelled like Thunderclan. "Are you a warrior from Thunderclan?" She asked, curious and excited.

(Oh wow, you go to sleep and then a thread explodes o.o)

Emberpup glanced around excitedly. The russet pup felt lost in the crowd. The clearing had filled up surprisingly fast, and she was a bit overwhelmed. Squeezing through the crowded clearing, she sat down near the Great Rock. She peered up, finding two wolves on it so far. One was a dark male, the other a light brown she-wolf. She streached out her forelegs, lying down beside the large gray stone.

Tallfeather just shook his head at Fangclaw's question, not bothering to answer. For a moment he let silence fall between them, then snorted when Fangclaw told him a late 'hello'. Tallfeather hadn't realized he'd neglected to introduce himself. "Sorry about that," he said,ooking at the Stormclan warrior with a sheepish grin. "Names Tallfeather."

"Sort of, I'm the ThunderClan deputy", Firespell said and shook herself. "It was a pretty quick promotion. From apprentice to warrior to deputy, all in a few seconds." She grinned. "Very quick." The firey wolf looked all around and caught sight of the ThunderClan pup she'd seen earlier, lying beside the Highrock. Graystar had entered and Firespell stared at the Clan Leaders at the rock.

Shadewhisper arrived at the gathering, taking his place off to the side near the great rock. His eyes tinted with amusement as he looked around. SunClan had not arrived yet, what was holding Direstar back? He wondered as he stood there regally, waiting for this gathering to start.

Featherpaw glanced around the clearing, ears pricked in surprise. The clearing had filled up so fast! She didn't even know who she was sitting with anymore. The black fae glanced around, spotting Shadestar, Graystar and Heatherfrost atop the Great Rock. I wonder what happened to Russetstar... she wondered. She spotted Shadewhisper standing beside the rock, and the medicine wolf apprentice decided to go say hello. "Hi Shadewhisper!" she called, bounding up.

(Shadestar said the pups could find the hidden playground thing at the gathering so here it goes...)
Sparrowpup charged into the clearing, her eyes full of excitement. She went and looked at the great rock, so many cool things. One thing in particular, a crack. she saw a dim light inside it and looked around for other pups to help her check it out. She saw Emberpup and grinned. "Hi there! I'm Sparrowpup." she said, her eyes full of excitement. "I found something cool by the great rock, wanna check it out with me?" she asked calmly.

(Isn't Direstar on leave?)

Shadestar watched in slight surprise as Heatherfrost jumped onto the rock beside him. What happened to Russetstar? Had he passed away? The leader did not ask the old Deputy, however, and instead his attention was diverted to Graystar as she leaped up onto the rock beside him. "Perhaps it would be better if you made the announcements? They like you better," he grinned. "If I did it, this gathering would never end well." Yawning, he looked away across the crowd for Direstar who had not yet arrived.

Silverstone yawned and opened her eyes. How had she fallen asleep? With this racket? Her eyes were blood-shot as she had just woken up. She had only been out for a couple of minutes. She shook the snow off her pelt and sitted herself near the front. She licked herself clean as she had a few smears of mud on her coat.

Heatherfrost dipped her head in greeting to Graystar as she leaped up upon the rock to join Shadestar. Letting a thin smile curl on her muzzle at Shadestar's words, she redirected her gaze to Shadewhisper, who had positioned himself near the base GreatRock, and was shortly after joined by Featherpaw. It will soon be time for Shadewhisper to have an apprentice. Heatherfrost remembered cheerfully before looking around the clearing to see who still had yet to arrive.

Whirlpup skidded into the clearing, his fur a mess. He noticed Heatherfrost on the high rock. He barked cheerfully at the female and sat down at the front next to some Stormclan warriors. Seeing the two large Stormclan leaders he gasped. They looked so strong and powerful compared to him!

"Wow, your a deputy? Really?" Spottedpup replied. She suddenly heard some scrabbling in the bushes nearby and turned around to see Whirlpup entering the clearing. "Hi Whirlpup!" she barked. "See ya, Firespell, Spottedpup said and trotted away. She spotted Shadewhisper and trotted towards him.

Whirlpup heard Spottedpup call his name. "Hey Spottedpup." He yelled in reply. He trotted over to the female and scratched his ear with his hind leg. He then looked at Shadewhisper. "Who are you taking to the Highstones?" He asked hoping it was him.
