Fourtrees #6

Fourtrees is a group of four tall oak trees that the Clan wolves have held their Gatherings at since the early days of the Clans. Fourtrees is described as neutral territory, and is often used when wolves from different Clans want to meet outside a Gathering. There is a large rock in the middle of Fourtrees called the Great Rock.The Clan leaders use it to look down on the Clans and share their news during Gatherings. Also, there is a small opening in the rock with a space big enough for many small pups to fit into.

He nodded. Then took a quick glance at Tallfeather when he left. But then shrugged. "So,how is Sunclan? I mean it seemed a little small last time i saw it." He felt odd. And wondered where Lunapaw was.

"It's still a bit small." "Nothing unusual has been going on, I should say, but they never tell us pups anything." "Although it makes me nervous with no other Sunclanners being here." She checked around one more time. Still, no one!

Sighing,he sank his claws into the soft ground. He then spoke. "Then it might be a little lonely then." His gaze wavered. But then he heard a large boom in the sky. Turning,he saw bright lights flash in the sky. Hmm must be twoleggeds. But they're kinda nice. He faced the sky. With the full-moon by the light's side.

"What?!" she yipped. A large boom filed the sky. "What was that?!" She tucked her tail between her legs in fear. She glanced up at the sky.

EbonyFur saw Moonpup and curled her in her tail. "Nothing to be afraid of."she said. "And hello to the rest of you."she said to her former clan mates and some others she didn't know. Ebony looked around. Only Shadowstorm and Moonpup was here along with her.

Wind winked at Firespell. "if you do step in for the leader, I'm sure you'd do fine." he smiled at her. Wind liked this female, she wasn't complicated like the others. He liked her straight forward manner and her easy going nature. Seeing the other wolf he nodded a greeting and sat down easily.

Brokenpup trotted happily in, The little female sat down and watched the others. How exiting! My second gathering! She smiled, thinking about all the topics to talk about. What will be first?

"He was alright when I last saw him but I don't know why he's not here now", Firespell shook her head to Tallfeather's question. Hearing Wind's words, she turned round. "Phoenixstar's still not here." The firey wolf pondered. "Would I be able to do it, Wind?"

Wind grinned and looked at her mischief in his gaze, "Honestly Firespell, you're asking the wrong wolf." he grinned and flicked her with his tail gently. "I'd say yes, but then, I'm the free spirit around here also." he smiled, "But honestly, I think you'll be good. After all, isn't that what the deputy is supposed to do? To step in, when the leader's not around?" his voice was soft, he was relaxed. He really did believe the firery female could do well. Then catching a new scent, he turned, "Hey little pup." he said seeing the small female in a greeting.

Silentwhisper flattened his ears everytime he heard a BOOM. He growled in frustration. "Have respect for animals for Starclans sake!" He yelled at the sky. Must be an important occasion. He thought. He shook some snow of his pelt and listened to Firespell and Winds conversation. What has he down now? Ran off with mutts?

Wind, feeling bored, lifted his muzzle and began to howl. He sang about the hunt and the winter and the spring time. His voice was oddly musical and his barrow tones reverberated through the air. He watched the stars and moon, hoping to see the forms he always saw in his birth pack.

Firespell smiled. "Thank you." I like Wind. He's nice and thoughtful. Her gaze fell on a small pup sitting not far away. "Hello there, what's your name?" she said. Hearing Wind howl, Firespell joined in: singing low and softly. She glanced at Silentwhisper. The firey wolf looked up as she heard a couple of BOOMs in the sky.

Shadowstorm heard that Moonpup was here and he looked for her. He found her talking to a few wolves and metion she was the first SunClanner here. "Hi Moonpup, it looks like some of camp is flickering it." He said, he glanced at the others. "Hi Bluepup." He said, not knowing the pup was an apprentice now.

Wind looked over at Firespell, "I guess big news is to come." he said before starting up his howl again. This time his song was mournful, he was thing of his dead mate from the past. The large male turned away from Firespell so she wouldn't see the sadness enter his usually brilliant amber eyes.

The firey wolf stopped howling and looked at her friend. "What's wrong? Why are you sad, Wind?" she whispered. Firespell looked up at the sparkling stars. What comes next?

"Oh, hi Shadowstorm." Another boom filled the sky. What are those Twolegs trying to do, blow up the sky?! Seeing two other Sunclan wolves made her calm down. She looked over at a Thunderclan wolf who had started howling. "Wow, your howl sounds beautiful." Whenever she tried to howl, it just came out in little squeaks.

Seeing Shadowpaw,he nodded to his old friend. "Bluepaw now,and i think. Shadow,something. Since your a warrior at this time." He flicked his tail as another boom filled the sky. He then narrowed his eyes. "How is...Oakpaw? I believe he is still training,since you are older. Am i right?" He snorted as he remembered the ignorant pup he had last seen.
Then he heard a voice. Turing,he saw a white warrior. But by the smell of it,its a medicine wolf. He frowned,Is Sunclan really that weak? Changing warriors to medicine wolves. He snorted. Then nodded to her. "Hi,your Sunclan,i believe. And Windclan still clings to your fur." He raised his eyebrows,and stood up.

Heatherfrost watched the wolves in the clearing with quiet content, allowing their endless chatter and murmers to soak into her ears and mind. A loud Boom pierced her thoughts and she turned her bright blue gaze to the sky, just in time to see a vibrant explosion of colour fill the air before fadding away with a sharp crackle. It must be a Twoleg thing; some sort of special occasion. She thought quietly, her tail twitching. She had never really fully understood Twolegs and their actions, this noisy display serving as a prime example. What could possibly posses them so much as to try and blow up the sky?

Silentwhisper watched Wind. Seeing the moon his instincts kicked in, making him howl too. Like Wind he sang about something. But he sang about battle, blood and betray. He then lowered his head and thought of something to do next. Another explosion lit the sky. He sighed and threw his head back, this time sing about something softer. He sang about a wolf, playing in cold waters with the wolf he loved.

As she waited, Firespell heard Shadewhisper join in the song. Firespell threw back her head and howled too. She sang of fighting, loving and running. The firey wolf sang about friendship, loyalty and honour, about what makes you who you are.

Moonpup sighed. I wish I could howl like that. She was still to young howl, and just small whimpers came out when she tried. She sat back down by the log. She started playing with a pebble.

Silentwhisper lowered his head and breathed gently. He thought of the first time he howled and what he sang about. So he threw his head back and shut his eyes tight. He sang about who he loved, his friends. The mischief they would get up to. He howled about fun and in his head he could see the young Silentpup, Ravenpup and Mistypup playing in a large tree.

Lionpup chuckled at Wolfpup and readied himself to launch onto the moss beside him, but instead paused, his ears erect. He could hear howling. Curiosity sparking inside him the bulky pup poked his head out of the crack before squeezing back outside, looking around to make sure no one had seen him exit the secret opening. Searching around he traced the howling back to a group of ThunderClan smelling wolves and one StormClan wolf. I wonder why they are doing that? Parting his jaws Lionpup made his own feeble attempt to copy them, although failed miserable, and only managed to make a high pitched squeak. Spotting an unfamiliar pup not too far away, (Moonpup) he padded briskly over to her, a friendly smile plastered across his muzzle. "Hey there!" He barked as he approached.

Firespell lowered her howl, blending in with Silentwhisper. The firey wolf saw another pup approach Moonpup. She smiled at the new pup. Who's he?
