Fourtrees #7

Fourtrees is a group of four tall oak trees that the Clan wolves have held their Gatherings at since the early days of the Clans. Fourtrees is described as neutral territory, and is often used when wolves from different Clans want to meet outside a Gathering. There is a large rock in the middle of Fourtrees called the Great Rock.The Clan leaders use it to look down on the Clans and share their news during Gatherings. Also, there is a small opening in the rock with a space big enough for many small pups to fit into.

Blackpaw saw his Clan leaving, and quickly trotted after them. He didn't notice how freaked out he was. Were Gatherings always like this? He stepped out of the pool of blood forming, he quickly ran after them. Though he never stopped watching his back.

Wind morned with the others. He had tried to help, they all had, but in the end, it wasn't enough. Sometimes, no matter how hard you try, you sill loose. He lifted his eyes and finally saw Firespell. She was brilliantly outlined in the dim light. He wondered how she was taking this. He wanted to go comfort her, but he knew he couldn't just leap onto the tree.

Firestar walked calmly over to Wind and nudged him softly. "Wind", she said quietly. "I don't think the gathering can continue like this. Lightdawn's dead and Shadestar's distraught. Also Direstar's gone already and most of the SunClan wolves." A storm is brewing, Wind and not just in the sky." The firey fae looked up at the clouds and the stars. I think ThunderClan should go back too.

Wind nuzzled her gently. "Where is Phenix star? I didn't see him." he said gently and rapped his thick furry tail across her back. "I won't let anything hurt you." he licked her ear gently.

Firestar sighed. "Phoenixstar is dead. I'm the leader now, I only hope that I am as good a leader as he was." She looked at the rest of the wolves. "Do you think we should return to camp or stay here?" she murmured. The firey wolf licked her mate back and managed a slight smile.

Luna and Blue were just about to return when they heard a howl. It was Shadestar's and it seemed that something had happened. Luna dashed after Bluestorm when she suddenly stopped. She could not believe on her eyes. Shadestar was next to the body of his dead sister - Lightdawn. She caught the scent of inturder. Her ears perked as she looked around but there was no sign. She noticed Sunclan leaving. She looked at them suspiciously. It seemed that they had something important. Was it common with Light's dead? The gathering ended really bad for Stormclan. Lunapaw glansed at Bluestorm for a second. She was not planning to leave the things like that. She was willing to go and find the wolf who did this to the medicine wolf.

Brokenpaw padded in hasty. "Did i miss somethi-" Was all she reached to say before spotting the white wolf laying in a pit of blood. "What the heck is going on here!?" She asked shocked. Who or what has done this?! The female thought, standing absolutely still.

Snowstorm watched the SunClan wolves go as their leader called out to them. He then looked back to the body of Lightdawn. Limp and lifeless, covered in blood. Much more then he had been after the fight with the rats. The white warrior limped over to Shadestar and said quietly, but loud enough for the leader to hear, "I am sorry for you're loss Shadestar. And I wish the best for you." He then turned and limped further away to wait for either Shadestar or Graystar to tell StormClan to go back to camp, fury still within him.

"OK!" Streakfire said. She nibbled on Oakthorn's cheek. She then padded to camp. Was Oakthorn and Streakfire ready for pups? That she did not know.

I look around. I see ever one else start to leave. I turn to frenpup and ask,"Are you coming." I then turn and leave.

Ripplestone nuzzled Stoatblaze, her blue eyes glittering with affection for the warrior. she stood and said "we should get back, direstar needs alot of support with Moonwhisper gone". she lashed her white tail that had a black tip and bounded off toward camp.
-camp

Snowstorm saw Ripplestone and Stoatblaze leave and gave them both a friendly nod before looking up at the hill where the wolf who had murdered Lightdawn had disappeared. He felt yet another growl rising in his throat, but stopped it from escaping his mouth. It was an evil wolf who had done this, and they would pay for it.

Sparrowheart searched frantically for Creekfire. She had something to tell him, and they needed to get to camp. She nudged him gently. "Shadestar needs some time, lets get back to camp. There is something I have to tell you." She murmured as she walked to camp. Hoping that he would follow her.

-Camp-

Seeing th death,she shook her head. She felt sorrow in her head,but shook it away. She then watched as her clan left. [But why? I mean this is a gathering. We,gather. She sighed and swished her tail. Then ran quickly over. Looking back carefully.
-sc camp-

Fangclaw gave a smile and a nod towards his friends who left, then turned his attention back to Shadestar. Snowstorm then gave Shadestar some sympathy, and even said sorry for his loss, which made him click two and two together. "I am also sorry for your loss, Shadestar." He said with a small dip of his head. Fangclaw had calmed down just a bit, but watching Sparrowheart leave with Creekfire along, the warrior sighed. Might as well get himself back to camp too.

-SC camp-

Wind placed a comforting paw against her chest. He was stunned. Maybe it was him. Since he came, rainstorm has left and now phenixstar. "I'm sorry firestar." he could only whisper. "Perhaps it's my arrival here." he looked away sadly. Then he lifted his muzzle and gave a howl, "All wolves loyal to thunderclan come to your leader." his howl was strong and traveled easily through the area. Then he turned and padded into the trees. His lushous grey and brown fur causing him to be invissible in seconds.

Firestar stared after Windstorm. "Wind please come back!" she called. "It wasn't your fault, nobody's fault." She took a few steps forward and then looked around for the other ThunderClan wolves.

SnowFlower tapped DuskFang on the shoulder. "Be right back."she murmured. SnowFlower looked to LightDawn, her coat was the scent of herbs. "She is no warrior..."she murmured. "Sorry Shadestar..."she said and dipped her head. SnowFlower went back, she looked to Heatherstar as a 'Should we leave?' look.

Wind took a few steps into the trees and then ran. His strides taking him into the unknown, he needed somewhere to think. He felt terrable, he never heard Firestar call after him. Images flashed intoo his mind. His family, gone, his first mate, gone, everyone he loved were gone. He couldn't bare to loose Firestar as well. She was the leader now, which meant she had an entire clan to look after. He ran deeper, until he colpsed in exhostion under a tree baren of leaves. Dropping to the ground, he het his tears flow. He hadn't alllowed himself to let go so freely in a long time.

Heatherstar gave Direstar a look of utter sorrow as he informed her of Moonwhisper's passing. She was speechless. Moonwhisper had been one of her oldest friends, and she was torn to hear of her death. Heatherstar tapped her tail sympathetically to his shoulder for a second before stepping back to allow him to make his announcements. Her bright blue orbs stared into empty space as he talked, and she sent a silent prayer up to StarClan, wishing Moonwhisper farewell. It was the scent of wet blood that roused her. She looked around to see a puff of smoke and a bloodied body of a wolf lying on the floor. What had happened? With a start she recognised the StormClan medicine wolf, Lightdawn, and watched quietly as Shadesrar ran to her aid. She could do nothing to help; it was too late. She leapt down from her post and padded swiftly over to Lightdawn and backed away when Shadestar ordered others to stay back. Almost every Clan seemed to be feeling the sharp sting of death. She mused briefly about what Lightdawn had whispered to her brother for a second before murmuring softly to Shadestar, "I am very sorry Shadestar, WindClan gives their condolences." There was not much else that she felt it appropriate to say, so turned to gaze around before howling softly in answer to Snowflower's unspoken question, "WindClan shall return to camp immediately!" With a last glance at the dead Medicine Wolf's body the female started to pad away.
