Fourtrees #7

First topic message reminder :

Fourtrees is a group of four tall oak trees that the Clan wolves have held their Gatherings at since the early days of the Clans. Fourtrees is described as neutral territory, and is often used when wolves from different Clans want to meet outside a Gathering. There is a large rock in the middle of Fourtrees called the Great Rock.The Clan leaders use it to look down on the Clans and share their news during Gatherings. Also, there is a small opening in the rock with a space big enough for many small pups to fit into.

The firey wolf looked at her friends and then said, "I'm going after Wind." Something's wrong, the firey wolf thought and wondered what it was. She slipped silently away and began wandering along the edge staring at the trees and bushes. She found Windstorm collapsed under a tree close to the clearing. "Wind", she said gently, licking him. "What is wrong?"

Snowstorm turned his gaze to Graystar as the leader said that StormClan could go back to camp if they wanted. He looked around the clearing. Most of the other wolves had already gone, and he decided to do the same. He turned towards the trees where he had appeared at the gathering at first and slowly limped out of the clearing, towards camp, staying alert for any sign of danger as he went.

-StormClan camp-

Creekfire flexed his muscles, getting to his paws. Better see what Sparrowheart wants. He felt lighter at the thought of his mate. Shouldering his way through the crowd, he headed back to camp.

~StC Camp~

Seeing Sunclan leave she snorted. Then growled. "Traitors." Then hearing Wind's voice,she turned to see him disappear into the trees. She frowned and followed. Seeing Firestar following,she scented the air. She then noticed them. But she stayed within the bushes to watch.

Hearing Graystar say that they could go back to camp,he sighed and shook his head. "I..I.." He faced Luna. "I'll meet you back at camp." He growled and sank his long claws in the ground. "I need to see that a Shadestar is ok. I'm not one to comfort,but I'm gonna try." He nodded to her and made his way to Shadestar.sitting down,he gazed down at the weeping leader. He sniffed,and shook his head. "Shade,are you ok? I've had lost loved one. I..I." He stopped and stared at the ground blankly.

Mossey follows her sister. She finds her with wind. "So you have found a replacment mate for falcon already I see,"She growls at her. "I might be leaving the clan." She tells her. Mossey comes out of the bushes to face her sister.

Seeing Mossypaw,she growled.she jumped out,and stood between her and Firestar. "Mossy,don't hurt her. Shes been through enough." then hearing she would leave the clan,she sighed and shook her head. Standing tall,she swished her tail. Then narrowed her eyes. "Why?"

"Did I say leave meant plead to the clan,"Mossey laughs nervously. "What about me I have been through more than her I lost three people I love just being near them." She runs off to the high rock. She goes inside and starts to cry.

Jadepup stood there shaking. She hadn't been expecting a wolf to DIE at the gathering! She watched silently in the shadows as Heatherstar jumped off the rock and pad over to the dead wolf. Hauling herself up too, she ran across the clearing to see what was happening. Oh, we're going back to camp?, the pup thought and shrunk a little. The murderer could still be out there... Her young mind span with thoughts that spooked her but she shook them away and followed Heatherstar back to camp.


-WC Camp-

Wind looked up at Firestar. His gaze blered again and he looked away ashamed. But now that he had let himself go, he found he could not stop. His body shook, but when she hear the other wolf's accusation to Firestar, he stood and weakly pulled her down, so she was under him, protected by his body. He gazed down at her, her beautiful face was confused and upset. He felt both warmth and dispair wash over him. How could she love him? How could such a weak male make her happy. He wondered what happened to her mate before him. Leaning down, he licked her forehead gently but could say nothing.

Snowflower nodded. She nudged Duskfang and stood up. The femme padded away, it was obviously a sad gathering. This time it bring death with it...

-camp-

Firestar licked Wind back and then stood up and walked to the Highrock, flicking her tail at Wind and Hawkpool to follow. "Mosseypaw, I know how you feel", she called through the hole to her sister. "I too have lost people that I'd knew and liked: Falconpaw, Rainstar, Phoenixstar..." She closed her eyes for a moment and then turned to her friends. Speaking so that her friends and sister could hear, Firestar said: "Falconpaw wasn't my mate. He liked me as a friend but never more than that. He was infatuated with Rainstar and that's why he went with her." The firey fae looked straight at Windstorm. "You're different, Wind: calm and confident with a kind heart that's why I like you. Now we should return to camp. Icepaw's warrior ceremony is long-overdue." She smiled. "And yours, Mossey: you're going to be a warrior." She padded out of the clearing, with a purpose.

-camp-

Wind nodded. He was happy she felt like that for him. He licked her flank then loped afer her to camp.

camp

Dawnpaw followed her mentor back to camp. She was still shocked after the death. Her thoughts in a whirl, she padded silently back to camp. "Wasn't the Gatherings were supposed to be held in peace? How could there be a wolf killing another here?" she thought.
(I think.)

Brokenpaw heard her leader call them back to the camp. The feamle was still shocked and confused due the sudden death, but it didn't matter, leader's command is leader's command.
She looked at the dead wolf again, who would do that out of the blue?
She then started to walk towards the camp.

~Windclan Camp~

Blue said that he will try to comfort Shadestar. He also added that he will meet her at the camp. Luna nodded and got near the leader and the lifeless body of his sister. "I'm sorry for your lost Shadestar..." she said as she nudged gently Lightdawn's body. The apprentice was sad. She hated seeing her close ones sad. She hoped that Starclan did not left them. She took few steps forward but instead of leaving for the camp she decided to patrol around the borders and Stormclan's territory. If she had luck she may find a clue to the wolf killer or even the wolf itself.

~Stromclan and Sunclan border~

Spottedpaw looked up as Heatherstar announce to go back to camp. Standing up she padded forward to the edge of the clearing. The apprentice stopped to glance back at the She-wolf's body. Sadness rose up in her. She shook her head wearily and turned towards camp.

Duskfang looked up at Heatherstar as she announced WindClan's departure. He followed Snowflower closely, not wanting her to gt hurt if that demon wolf decided to make another appearance. He kept his ear perked high up on his head as he scanned around. If he saw at least one glimpse of the wolf, he would be after it like a bullet, but unfortunately he saw nothing as he added back to camp, his large muscles still however rigid with anticipation.

-Camp-

Seeing Firestar trot back to camp,she glanced at Mossypaw. She then shook her head and sighed. Caring her head low,she slowly followed. Kicking up dust,and breathing in the crisp cold air.
-tc camp-

I try to take it all in she never liked Falcon. I climb out of the dark high rock. I start to head to the entrance. Only a few wolves reman.

-Camp-

Magmafeather watched the other wolves began to leave. The gatherings were always quite short. Magmafeather looked at the trees in utter admirance for another moment. He then disappeared into Stormclan Territory.

-SC CAMP-

Seeing his comment made no affect to the weeping leader,he sighed and shook his head. "I really am sorry." He stood up and flicked his tail,then setting it on his back. "I wish you luck Shadestar." He then gave him a brisk nod,not that the leader would probably see it. He then retreated back into the shadows. Trailing after Lunapaw's scent.
-Sunclan and Stormclan border-

Shadestar said nothing to all who came to comfort him. He didn't want their pity. It seemed like his strength disappeared, and so he couldn't even muster enough of anything to growl at those who came close to him -- and touched his sister's dead body. The dark male looked down at Lightdawn's pure white, angelic form. She was always the one who seemed to be closest to StarClan, and it was such an irony that this would occur to someone like her. Leaning down to grab her bloodied corpse by the scruff, he began to drag her up the hill and back towards StormClan camp. Now he cared nothing about any of the other Clans or their mindless drama. Only his revenge.
- StormClan camp -

Brambepaw got to the Gathering in a rush, making sure to get there as fast as possible. Soon enough he reached Fourtrees and saw wolves leaving. "Darn, I've missed it." Disappointed, the mottled brute turned around and headed toward ThunderClan territory. Maybe he could tell the others he was a Medicine Wolf Apprentice!
