Fourtrees #7

Fourtrees is a group of four tall oak trees that the Clan wolves have held their Gatherings at since the early days of the Clans. Fourtrees is described as neutral territory, and is often used when wolves from different Clans want to meet outside a Gathering. There is a large rock in the middle of Fourtrees called the Great Rock.The Clan leaders use it to look down on the Clans and share their news during Gatherings. Also, there is a small opening in the rock with a space big enough for many small pups to fit into.

Glancing at the Windclan apprentice,he nodded. "Hi,I'm Bluestorm. Nice to meet you Spottedpaw." He blinked,and felt itchy under her gaze. He shook his head,and sighed. "Umm,how's Windclan going?"

Spottedpaw smiled. "So-so, I guess. How's things with Stormclan?" She asked. She felt a lump in her throat while she talked. She swallowed hoping the male wouldn't notice. "I'm just making friends." She told herself, deceivingly. But she felt the lump in her throat grow.

He nodded. "Well." He sighed and shuffled his paws. "Umm,it was nice to meet you." He blinked his red eyes,and glanced around.

Okamipup glanced up at this smaller black pup "um im ah er" she really didnt want to say her name. she stared at her white paws and mumbled "okamipup" as quick as she could. she could almost feel tears appearing in her black eyes. some of the more superstitious wolves stayed far away from her.

Blinking,she tilted her head curiosly. "Why are you so sad?" She stepped out of the crowd. "Come on." She sat over and out of the bunch of wolves.

Okamipup slunk after her, her red markings making it impossible for her to blend into the snow. she sat next to fernpup and said "im sad because i look like this! disguisting and different from everyone else. even my name is different". her black eyes glittered sadly.

She sighed. "That doesn't matter. Its not like it makes a different in life. I mean,think about Crookedstar. He had a crooked jaw. So what?! He lives with it." She smiled and nudged her. "Its fine. I'm sure. Okamipup isn't so bad."

The little pup shrugged and sighed staring at her paws. she glanced up at the Red wolf on the high rock and whispered "so whos that?" she inquired curioiusly. he smelt of sunclan, and she remembered that he was direstar. he had come to windclan camp on her first day out of the nursery.

Snowstorm limped into the clearing, his white fur still stained red with blood and many clumps of fur torn off from the fight with rats. He looked around and spotted Bluestorm talking to another wolf, by the looks of it, it was an apprentice. He limped over to the two wolves. "Hello Bluestorm." He said in a friendly tone with a smile. "Who's you're friend?" The large white warrior turned his gaze on the apprentice and waited for an answer from Bluestorm.

She sighed. "My dad. I haven't actually know much about him." She shrugged,and glanced around. "I feel bored. Do you want to do something?"

Nodding to Snowstorm,he glanced around for Magmafeather. "Hi Snowstorm. This is Spottedpaw. Where is Magmafeather,and what took you so long." He grinned and nudged him playfully.

Jadepup ran into the clearing a came to a skidding halt. She perked her ears and scanned the snowy area to see if she could see anyone she knew. Spotting Okamipup with another pup, she decided to go over to them and see what they were talking about. "Hey." she barked as she came up towards them hoping they'd let her join their little group.

Snowflower shook her head. "Call me if you need me."she sighed. Snowy padded over to Okamipup and Fernpup. "Okami, it's ok to be unique."she smiled. "That fur color..."she said. "By any chance your Direstar's pup?"she asked. Not wanting to remind the pup of her mothers death, she said Direstar instead.

Duskfang trudged into Four Trees, his nose wrinckled in dislike of the scents of the other Clans' mingled together. He ruffled his fur uncomfortably and looked around, searching for a particular pearly white pelt. There. He spotted Snowflower talking with Okamipup, Jadepup and another pup he did not know the name of. Padding down to her he wore a small smile. "Hello."

"Hello."she replied with glee. "So, Shadestar and Direstar are here."she said. "Now we wait for Phoenixstar, Graystar and Heatherstar."she said. The snowy femme sensed something amiss, she didn't know Phoenix had...died.

Duskfang smiled and licked Snowflower's cheek affectionately. "Indeed." As he spoke he looked up at GreatRock and raked his gaze over Direstar and Shadestar. He stared at them for a moment before turning back to the group. He sat down next to Snowflower.

Luna trotted in slowly. There were already a lot of wolves. Thunderclan, Windclan and Sunclan. She looked around for Bluestorm and she saw him. He was talking with a she-wolf from Windclan. The apprentice's face changed quickly. Then she spotted her mentor near Blue. She looked away and took few steps back. She made her way to remote location from the wolves. She sat down and placed her head on her paws. Luna hated crowded places. Now hid from the sign of the other wolves she could rest and hear the leaders speeches.

Streakfire looked around. "You want to meet some of my ThunderClan friends?" she asked Oakthorn. "I want to see how my former mentor, Firespell, has been doing. She was my only friend rather though. I also miss ThunderClan, but SunClan will be my home as long as I'm with you." She said, and licked his cheek.

Jadepup smiled as Snowflower and Duskfang came over. "Heya." She barked and flicked her tail turning around, she yawned. She didn't know what to do.

Spottedpaw shifted her paws feeling a bit uncomfortable. "Uh Ok. It was nice meeting you Bluestorm." She nodded a greeting to the wolf that up to him. Padding away, The apprentice looked around for somewhere quiet to sit. Being in crowds made her uncomfortable. Spottedpaw then padded over to one of the tall Oak trees and sat down by it's roots.

As she was laying Luna saw the spotted wolf which was talking with Bluestorm getting away from the crowd. It sat down by the roots of one Oak tree which was near the place which Luna was resting in. The apprentice's ear twitched. She was still staring at the spotted she-wolf. She could not understand why she felt like this. Was she jelous from that Windclan wolf? Even if she did she would not show any emotion infront of her or Blue.

Heatherstar entered the clearing and headed straight for GreatRock, her gaze fixed on the giant stone monument as she weaved through the small crowd. Bounding up the rock she came to stand next to Direstar and smiled at him. "Greetings Direstar." She said with a friendly tap on the back with her tail. "It's good to see you again."

Tallfeather watched in mixed fury and disbelief as Skyfeather stomped away. Did she seriously think she was entitled to be angry or sad? Did she have any idea how much her cruel words were effecting him? Though he was grateful for the wolves that gathered around him, trying to calm him from Skyfeather's outburst, Tallfeather didn't want their understanding. He wanted his Skyfeather back, not this cold husk of a wolf that was suddenly rearing its ugly head. Giving Ookamipup a grateful nuzzle, Tallfeather broke off from the group and trotted after the white she-wolf. He skidded to a halt in front of her, blocking her path.

"What in Starclans name is wrong with you?" He snarled, his eyes alight with fury and sorrow. Tallfeather stared as intently and ferociously into her eyes as he could, as if his down dark brown orbs could reach in and steal some sense back out of her. "What the freak are you supposed to mean, 'forgetting everything'?"

Seeing another pup come up,with two other warriors,she blinked. "Yes i am. And I'm proud of it." Seeing the brown wolf like the white wolf cheek she shivered oddly. Then looked at the Windclan pup. "Who are you?"
