StormClan Camp

The StormClan camp is surrounded by prickly bushes and is well protected against outsiders. It is in the middle of a forest, a cross between ShadowClan and RiverClan camps. The nature of this causes the camp to become misty on particularly humid days. The leader's den are two big rocks that balance each other, creating a tunnel which is relatively large in nature. Plant matter hangs over the entrance and shields the inside from view. The elder's den is a large thorn bush, hollowed in the inside for comfort. It is well protected. The warriors den is an abandoned fox den which lost the scent of its previous owners long ago. The den has been expanded further by its new warrior inhabitants and is large enough for all of the warriors of the Clan. Beside this den is the apprentices den, which is a tree trunk which had fallen over long ago in a storm and over time was hollowed out by the elements. The nursery is similar to the Elder's den, as it is well protected by thorns and has a secure wall.

Owlscreech shook himself and gave darkpup a good hard stare warning him to be quiet. he then regarded skyfeather for a few moments before saying "Slypaw, go fetch some moss and wet it then bring it here, Skyfeather needs a drink". he fluffed up his fur then stood turning he noted his sister glancing around for someone and rolled his eyes irritably. he lashed his tail and stomped over toward shadestar he sat down and said in an iron voice "all of Skyfeathers pups are small, very small and not a single one came out nose first the way starclan intended pups to do. I have a feeling that these are illegitimate pups. the question is what are you going to do about it". his amber eyes watched shadestar, he personally would go back to shadowclan when the two clans split up again.

EbonyFur looked to the wolf. He was an arrogant one... She huffed. "I'm EbonyFur. Medicine wolf of SunClan."she said softly. "I've come to take my apprentice, Brackenpaw."she said.

Brackenpaw looked at his mentor, he was exhausted from what he had been doing. He glanced at Slypaw, a warning look. "But I'm here with Shadowstorm still, can't just leave him by himself." He said, not realizing that he had slipped out and back to SunClan with Thistlepaw. He had slept through it all.

Slypaw realized the situation quickly. His fur remained standing. "Shadowstorm has left. Sorry im on edge everyone seems to think this is a gathering place. why did you bring a warrior? Brakenpaw you can leave." Slypaw sat down but could not calm his nerves with a warrior around.

"Because. Ebonyfur needed to be safe from arrogant StormClan wolves like yourself. Now, lets go to camp, Brackenpaw." She beckoned Brackenpaw with her tail to go to camp. Even though she had a stone heart, she could still be a sweetheart.

Heatherstar once again popped her head out of the Leader's den as the scents of SunClan now swirled around her. Spotting the familiar pelts of the SunClan medicine Wolf, Ebonyfur, and the warrior Streakfire, her tail raised curiously. StormClan certainly seemed busy recently and she had no doubt that Shadestar was hardly too keen about this. Hearing a dark furred apprentice challenge the two her blue gaze sparkled with slight amusement as he continued to dismiss Brackenpaw from the camp. He seemed very arrogant and bossy, and reminded her of Direstar a bit when he was younger.

Brackenpaw narrowed his eyes at Slypaw. "I know I can leave. I don't need the permission of an apprentice like you to leave." He retorted and padded out of camp with pride.

EBonyFur padded out of camp. "We have to go to the moonstone."she said. The fae padded away. To the moonstone.

Streakfire left as quickly as she came. With quick strides she went to the river. She wasn't a medicine wolf so she couldn't go to the moonstone. She yipped a bit on the way.
RIVER

Slypaw gave a growl after Brackenpaw. Slypaw might be an aprentice but that doesn't mean he fights like one. Skill was all he cared about but Ebonyfur seemed more patient then he first inticapated. With so many wolves coming to camp Slypaw stayed where he was gaurding camp

Tallfeather was late; really late. He'd somehow managed to get lost while following Heatherstar and Thistlepaw to the Stormclan camp. Now that he was here, though, Tallfeather didn't care. He pushed his way through the crowded camp, coming to stand impatiently beside Heatherstar. He wasn't listening to a word they were saying; his eyes were scanning the crowd, looking furiously for Skyfeather. Where was she?

Fangclaw had been dead to the world for a while, so when he stirred, the warrior's muscles ached from sleeping for so long. Taking a whiff of the den/camp area, he realized that Windclan was here. Standing up on all fours and shaking his pelt, the male wolf walked outside towards the clearing, where he spotted Tallfeather, a male wolf he had met at a gathering once. Tallfeather looked more worried and not into the conversation between the clan leaders, so maybe Fangclaw could help. Padding towards his ally, Fangclaw nudged him slightly. "Tallfeather, is everything alright?" He asked quietly.

Tallfeather jumped when he felt something nudge him; he turned, his eyes landing on Fangclaw. Tallfeather remembered the warrior from the conversation they'd had at a gathering once. Slightly calmed to see a familiar face, Tallfeather dropped his voice slightly, not wanting to be overheard by the leaders beside him. "Wheres Skyfeather?" He asked hurriedly, eyes still darting furtively over the wolves crowded around the camp.

Wow, awesome hi. Fangclaw received a 'Where's Skyfeather' instead of a formal hello. But he didn't mind. Although the warrior was suspicious of why Tallfeather asked for the Stormclan female, Fangclaw looked around for a Sky, then remembered her birthing incident. "Last time I saw her she was giving birth to a few pups." It was rather gross, so that was partially why he decided to go sleep in the den for a while. "But I've been asleep for a while, so I don't know..." Fangclaw helped, with a simple shrug.

Fangclaw's words only confirmed Tallfeather's mounting suspicions. He screwed his eyes shut, resisting the urge to howl as a flood of emotions assaulted him from all sides. He knew he couldn't break down now, not right in the middle of enemy camp when so much was going on, and Tallfeather forced himself to keep his face a mask of indifference. He could deal with himself later, when he knew his mate -- and his children -- were alright. "Oh," He said, trying to sound casual as possible. "Stormclan is very fortunate. Did the birthing go alright?"

Fangclaw watched the male wolf carefully, and tilted his head to the side when Tall wasn't exactly so calm. There must be something wrong with him, or his mental health, or Sky had an impact on Tall's life. Either or, it was scaring him just a bit. But soon, the Windclan wolf had calmed down, and asked about the birthing and if it had went well or not. "Thank you, for the comment," Fangclaw began, then shuffled his front paws on the ground. "From what I have heard and seen, the pup's came out wrong, as in facing the wrong way. And it had apparently hurt more than the average birthing, and then that's all I heard."

Snowstorm turned his attention to Tallfeather as the warrior entered the leaders' den. A bit late, aren't you? He thought, but decided not to say it. He caught the wolf's conversation with Fangclaw, and he spoke in a low voice, trying not to let out a growl. "Skyfeather is just fine now. I can't be so sure about the pups though. They are smaller and weaker than pups should be." Snowstorm didn't usually get angry. But with all these wolves from other clans coming into StormClan camp, he was on edge, and had to fight himself to not lunge at every wolf who entered their camp. "They are in the nursery, but I don't think it would be wise to go in there right now." The large white deputy glanced at Shadestar, whom was also on edge. And since the leaders' sister had been murdered recently, he was even more so on edge. And Snowstorm guessed he wouldn't take to kindly to a wolf from another clan going into their nursery. And Snowstorm himself wouldn't, either. Especially with his own mate and pups in there.

Waking up Honeysplash let out a growl at tallfeather. stalking over to the nursery she lay down outside it. advertising very clearly that anyone to go near there would get a good bite on the nose. her brown eyes were focused on this windclanner wolf who seemed very interested in Skyfeather. her fur fluffed up a little and her fast mind began thinking up ways to keep him out of the nursery. primarily of one would be to kick his little smug tail out. she bared her teeth as his gaze swept over the nursery.

Soon the scent of SunClan grew stronger. A large growl rumbled in his throat as the SunClan wolves came to get their apprentice and leave. Why was StormClan becoming a gathering place for all the Clans? It was absurd. They had all the Clans arrive here in a single day. His golden eyes watched as that WindClan wolf approached. Tallfeather. This day was just getting better and better. He went to stand next to his leader, probably for protection. Shadestar knew his mean streak would be showing now, and he didn't care.

"You can't see her," he growled. "I know you're her mate, I know they're your pups. They are StormClan and I will do everything in my power to make sure they are brought up as such." His gaze moved to Heatherstar. "I think our meeting is done here. Please be sure to escort Tallfeather out... now.."

Heatherstar eyed Tallfeather with wary curiosity as he arrived late into the StormClan camp and hastily began muttering to Fangclaw nearby. She could not hear the whole conversation, only catching small snippets of it, but had sense enough to know that something was up. Until now the secret relationship between both Skyfeather and Tallfeather had remained completely unheard of, to the WindClan leader, and as Shadestar's hostile voice sliced through the air, her eyes narrowed and glinted with an air of betrayal. She would be having some carefully words with Tallfeather when they returned back to camp. Glancing at Shadestar she did not match his tone of hostility, but instead spoke with a firm and wary tone. "Thank you for listening, Shadestar and Graystar, and I hope you heed my warning." Turning to Tallfeather her tone did not waver. "Tallfeather, I think that it would be just if we returned to camp now. I wish to speak as soon as possible."

Slypaw had whatched the new wolf enter camp. He instantly became a threat earning several warnings. Slypaw moved slowly towards Honeyslash giving low growl as he passed the wolf. Heatherstar made the situation better and offered to leave with the wolf. Slypaw would stand ready to fight if the wolf protested or tried to stay. Slypaw had had enough of other wolves today and he didn't have anymore patience left in him.

Fangclaw watched as everyone started being rude and disruptive about Tallfeather's appearance, and well, the fact that Shadestar had just growled out the whole reason why he was so concerned shocked Fangclaw. So that was why in the gathering he was looking for someone, and now he was so concerned. Stepping back from the Windclan wolf to give them their space to leave, the male sighed. "I'll see you next gathering then," He motioned to his ally and sat beside Honeysplash. "Calm down, they're leaving." He tried to reason, not really wanting this to become a blood bath.

Tallfeather flooded with relief when Snowstorm spoke to him, despite the Stormclan warrior's hostile tone. The pups were weak, but they were alive, as was his mate - that was all Tallfeather could ask for. His paws itched to barrel through the gathered crowd of wolves and throw himself in the nursery, but Tallfeather knew it was a stupid idea. He was already breaking warrior code in one of the severest ways possible; making demands in enemy camp would do Windclan no favors. Sighing, Tallfeather ignored all the hostile glares thrown his way.

Suddenly, a familiar voice made Tallfeather whirl around, every hair on his pelt bristling. Shadestar's words dug deep into Tallfeather, and he resisted the urge to fling himself at the huge wolf. Like heck Tallfeather was just going to sit back and allow Stormclan to keep him from his pups. He wouldn't have his children grow up without a father, no matter what these mangy mutts said. If they were going to stay in Stormclan and be raised by their mother then so be it, but the Windclan warrior vowed to himself that he would find a way to see them. They were his pups, he reserved that right.

Tallfeather was grounded back to reality as Heatherstar's firm voice cut through his thoughts. As smart alecky and disobeying as he may be to Shadestar, Tallfeather would respect his own clan leader. Nodding gratefully to Fangclaw as the warrior tried to shed some reason on his hostile clanmates, Tallfeather followed Heatherstar back to their territory. This was all too much to process.

Heatherstar dipped her head for a final time, this time directing it to the wide majority of wolves gathered in the camp rather than just a single individual. Turning around she followed Tallfeather closely out of camp, her head held high confidently. Her mind buzzed restlessly as she padded along, and as she disappeared from sight of the great Clan's camp, she was oblivious to her surroundings, her thoughts trained to the words that Shadestar and Graystar had exchanged with her. Had StarClan really abandoned them? She could not know for sure, but the more she thought about it, the more greatly possible it seemed.

-WindClan Camp-

Shadestar snorted. It was obviously taking all of the apprentice's power not to blow up in front of the leader of an enemy Clan. He also noticed with satisfaction that a flicker of surprise passed over the WindClan leader's face. She didn't know the big secret yet? Well Shadestar was happy to oblige in letting the cat out of the bag.

He watched with golden eyes as the two left camp. Finally all of the other Clans had disappeared and the camp was only made up of StormClan. Nevertheless his thoughts returned to the words Heatherstar had spoken. Rage filled him once again as he thought of the wolves who attacked WindClan, but only because they were the ones who murdered his sister. None of the other Clans cared when it happened at the gathering- but now that they were all involved of course it mattered to them. Shadestar itched to run and find all of them and hunt down and kill them one by one, but would he be willing to work with other Clans to do it? He would need time to think.

Sitting down where he was he allowed a calmness to pass over him before he returned back to his troubling thoughts.
