StormClan Camp

The StormClan camp is surrounded by prickly bushes and is well protected against outsiders. It is in the middle of a forest, a cross between ShadowClan and RiverClan camps. The nature of this causes the camp to become misty on particularly humid days. The leader's den are two big rocks that balance each other, creating a tunnel which is relatively large in nature. Plant matter hangs over the entrance and shields the inside from view. The elder's den is a large thorn bush, hollowed in the inside for comfort. It is well protected. The warriors den is an abandoned fox den which lost the scent of its previous owners long ago. The den has been expanded further by its new warrior inhabitants and is large enough for all of the warriors of the Clan. Beside this den is the apprentices den, which is a tree trunk which had fallen over long ago in a storm and over time was hollowed out by the elements. The nursery is similar to the Elder's den, as it is well protected by thorns and has a secure wall.

Owlscreech shook himself and gave darkpup a good hard stare warning him to be quiet. he then regarded skyfeather for a few moments before saying "Slypaw, go fetch some moss and wet it then bring it here, Skyfeather needs a drink". he fluffed up his fur then stood turning he noted his sister glancing around for someone and rolled his eyes irritably. he lashed his tail and stomped over toward shadestar he sat down and said in an iron voice "all of Skyfeathers pups are small, very small and not a single one came out nose first the way starclan intended pups to do. I have a feeling that these are illegitimate pups. the question is what are you going to do about it". his amber eyes watched shadestar, he personally would go back to shadowclan when the two clans split up again.

Foxpaw stepped back to stand beside slypaw. she sat down and watched graystar a little apprehensivley. she glanced at Slypaw and her eyes sparkled with the light of friendship. the fox looking apprentice stared up at graystar. she would happily be Shadestars whipping dog if she could only stay in this clan.

Eaglepup woke up inside the medicine den. The pain he felt was terrible. All of his cuts burned like fire. He couldn't manage much more than a weak sounding whimper. He knew he would be fine and heal from the injuries but at the moment they hurt bad! He focused on the weight on his back to try and forget his pain. He wasn't sure who it was but was glad it was there.

"Eaglepup! You're awake!" she softly whimpered in his ear. She licked his ear softly. She rested her head on his and lied there, barely awake. "I'm not going to go back to the nursery until you're better..." she said, and hopefully only he could hear.

Eaglepup sighed. He heard Goldenpup whisper in his ear. That made him less worried. He had thought she had gotten hurt during the fight. He would say sorry to her for sneaking out later when he could. She had sounded tired and was laying comfortably next to him. He wished he could go to sleep agian but the pain seemed to be keeping him up. He was glad she promised to stay with him. He gave another whimper as pain shot through him.

Goldenpup licked him comfortingly. "I won't sleep until you do. I want to be sure you're safe..." was all she said. She yawned tiredly, placing her paw in his and holding on. She looked at him and leaned slightly against him.

Creekfire spoke out, as many wolves had asked about what had happened. "Darkpup attacked Eaglepup I don't know why, but after my son and Goldenpup snuck out, Darkpup dashed after them, and when I found them at the River Darkpup was pinning down Eaglepup and practicly mauling him." He cast anxious and worried glanced at the Medicine Den, knowing it was already crowded and a large brute like him charging in wouldn't do any good.

Hearing Creekfires words she stood. her jaws dropped with suprise, she stuck her head in the nursery and grabbed Darkpup in her jaws. she dragged him out then said "let me tell you a story Darkpup and mind you listen otherwise you will end up like the wolf in the story". she fixed darkpup with a solom brown eye until she was sure that she had hsi attention then she began "not to long ago there was a pup named Oakpup. this is a real story mind you! and one day a Thunderclan pup named Fullpup had made his way to the Shadowclan camp. Oakpup attacked and scratched and bit till fullpup left. however in the thunderclan camp he died of his injuries. his name was forever cursed. and he became Oakthorn of sunclan till he died in their gorge"

Snowstorm was about to answer everyone's questions, but Creekfire got to it first. He looked over to the nursery and saw that Honeysplash was scolding Darkpup. That was good. Snowstorm knew that Honeysplash wouldn't hurt him, but he needed a good scolding. The white deputy turned his head to the medicine den and said, "He should be fine though. Thankfully Darkpup didn't manage to injure him seriously." He padded over to Graystar whom was outside the medicine den, talking to the fox like wolf he had seen dragged into camp earlier. And it seemed as though Graystar was telling the wolf that she could join, if Shadestar agreed that is. "Hello," he said to the new wolf. "My name is Snowstorm. What's yours?" The large white wolf glanced over at Eaglepup, then back at Foxpaw, watching her with kind eyes.

Darkpup tried to resist Honeysplash dragging him out out of the nursery, but couldn't. He was forced to sit and listen to the warrior's story. He tried to not pay attention, but he couldn't help catching most of it. He grunted. That stupid story meant nothing to him. They were just empty words that went right through one ear, and out the other. The pup shook himself free and stalked back into the nursery. On the way to his corner, he caught a glimpse of another pup, (Nightpup) sitting in the shadows, out of the corner of his eye. He stopped and turned his head, staring at the other pup for a while, before shaking his head and going to the corner of the nursery and laying down once again.

Eaglepup heard his father explaining what had happened to him to the wolves outside. He felt ashamed that he didn't defend himself and had gotten Goldenpup hurt too. He was glad she didn't blam him and was here with him. If Snowstorm or Creeckfire hadn't been there things could have been way worse. Eaglepup heard Snowstorm talking to a different wolf. Eaglepup tried his best to call out to him but only mangeged a small whimper. He gave up and instead whispered a small "Thank you." He hoped Snowstorm heard because he really was thankfull. He layed his head back down on Goldenpup's paws. He closed his eyes and slept peacefully.

Foxpaw stood and stretched, she had just woken up from a nap and she was feeling much better. noticing slypaw she wriggled her haunches and tackled him. slamming him and herself out of the medicine den she rolled around and landed on her back giggling. she turned and smiled at him with happiness.

Slypaw wasn't paying attention when foxpaw attacked him. He went flying out of the medicine den. He instantly got up hackles raised. He looked over to find his attacker. He found Foxpaw smiling up at him. He instantly relaxed and gave a little laugh. "Someone is better!" He said smiling back to her.

She nodded confidently, her bright eyes twinkling with calm and happiness. her eyes darted over to shadestars den and she tensed a little before shaking her head she whispered. "i dont care if shadestar only lets me stay so he can bully me. i want to stay here". she grinned at her friend. she had never had a real best friend before.

Slypaw smilied at Foxpaw's comment. He hoped she got to stay too. "I hope you stay. I won't let anyone bully you. I promise." Slypaw said with confidence. He had met the best friend he could find. She was nice and knew how to attack when needed. To try and take her nerves off, Slypaw jerked fast and playfully knocked her side.

She rolled over and got up in one smooth movement. she leapt at slypaw aiming to slip his paws out from under him. she enjoyed slypaws company emmensly. even though she had been from thunderclan he had been nice to her. she smiled feeling like she could trust the brute.

Shadestar was lost in his own thoughts when another smell of ThunderClan wafted into his nose. This is the last straw, he said to himself as he stood up in anger and alarm, the hair on his back pointing upward to show that he meant business. This was the last time any wolf from another Clan would be visiting them. Stomping into the Medicine Wolf den where a tiny fox sat. Fox? Graystar was talking to it and Slypaw was playing with it like it was any other pup in StormClan but it had the scent of ThunderClan all over it. "What is going on here?!" Shadestar demanded in anger. "Slypaw, go find your mentor and some other wolves and go on a patrol. Make sure to mark the borders because I don't want any other wolves of another Clan passing over them anymore. You have my permission to attack on sight." His golden gaze then turned to glare at the wolf before him and he let a growl emerge from his throat.

Foxpaw cowered a little then with typical thunderclan courage she said "i am Foxpaw come here to ask permission to join your clan sir! I may look like a fox buti have the heart of a wolf! and and thunderclan hated me. please Sir let me join". she stared up at the angry leader with a look of courage "i knwo that thunderclan isnt in your good books, but please". She looked up and met his golden eyes with her own brown ones. her long shortfurred black legs held her up off the ground. her longer orange hairs on her body moved a little in the wind. her fluffy orange witha white tip tail curled around in the air.

Slypaw fell forward from having his paws knocked out from under him. He saw Shadestar come up and it didn't look like he was in a good mood. "Bluestorm is already at the border. He found Foxpaw earlyer. Also you might want to keep the pups in the back asleep." Slypaw stood up ready to dodge anthing coming his way if anything he said backfired.

Foxpaw stared up at shadestar with anxiety in her eyes, she stepped closer to slypaw ready to defend him if need be. she had a hunch that if she did join Shadestar wouldnt make her a warrior. well she was just fine with that. she could survive she could learn better.

Limping back,he sighed. His back paw was twisted backwards and was bleeding through. He though a claw was torn out,but he didn't look. He walked to the medicine den,just to scent Darkpup,some of Creekfire's pups,Creekfire himself,and Snowstorm. He from we'd and noticed his own apprentice snuggle up to the Thunderclan apprentice he had brought back earlier. He blinked. Not knowing what to think or saw.
Blue shrugged and glanced at Owlscreech.
He nudged him. "Its a gathering. And the other part is that my foot is apparently twisted backwards." He had left a trail of blood from back at the border. His foot didn't feel hurt at all. Blue could never feel pain. Ever since his birth.

Honeysplash flicked her ears as she noticed teh thunderclan apprentice. she raised her eyebrows and studied her from a distance. from a deatailed amount of thinking Honeysplash had decided that Foxpaw was a Maned wolf. she knew that other wolves would probbaly name her a wolf fox hybrid. she stood and looked around for Apachewind. she was prepared to go to the gathering.

Apache had slept through the excitement of the camp, his body completely worn out by his constant late night excursions and patrols. He had yet to convince his body that it was supposed to sleep at night after spending so long training to in the art of unseen movement, only sleeping when he felt he need resulting in a crazy schedule that was never the same twice. Having returned to the camp Apachewind had begun retraining his body to sleep on a normal schedule, but it was a challenge. With a mighty yawn the large wolf stretched then exited the den to find the clearing bustling with the chaos of life, he smelled many scents that did not belong to the clan. Ears and eyes moving rapidly Apache took in the scene and shrugged, he had no idea what was going on. Spotting Honeysplash near the nursery the male instantly made a be line for her, his heart becoming lighter then usual as he barked a greeting. "It seems that I have missed quite a bit, what has happened that has gotten the clan so riled up and brought others from neighboring territories? " He was as of yet unaware of the coming gathering as he sat next to Honeysplash, his tail thumbing the hard earth in a pleasant rhythm.

Creekfire slipped into the nursery. He peered down at Sparrowheart kindly. He curled up beside her. Decided to stay with her instead of going to the Gathering.

Shadestar ignored the wolf's reply for a moment and turned to glare at Slypaw. "Then go find Bluestorm and go to the gathering together. Don't make me order you again." The tensions in camp had been running high the past couple days and so Shadestar was sick of the attitude he'd been getting recently from many, particularly from... ThunderClan. Now turning his gaze back to the once-ThunderClan apprentice his glare changed to a neutral expression before asking, "What has been happening in ThunderClan camp recently?"
