StormClan Camp

The StormClan camp is surrounded by prickly bushes and is well protected against outsiders. It is in the middle of a forest, a cross between ShadowClan and RiverClan camps. The nature of this causes the camp to become misty on particularly humid days. The leader's den are two big rocks that balance each other, creating a tunnel which is relatively large in nature. Plant matter hangs over the entrance and shields the inside from view. The elder's den is a large thorn bush, hollowed in the inside for comfort. It is well protected. The warriors den is an abandoned fox den which lost the scent of its previous owners long ago. The den has been expanded further by its new warrior inhabitants and is large enough for all of the warriors of the Clan. Beside this den is the apprentices den, which is a tree trunk which had fallen over long ago in a storm and over time was hollowed out by the elements. The nursery is similar to the Elder's den, as it is well protected by thorns and has a secure wall.

Owlscreech shook himself and gave darkpup a good hard stare warning him to be quiet. he then regarded skyfeather for a few moments before saying "Slypaw, go fetch some moss and wet it then bring it here, Skyfeather needs a drink". he fluffed up his fur then stood turning he noted his sister glancing around for someone and rolled his eyes irritably. he lashed his tail and stomped over toward shadestar he sat down and said in an iron voice "all of Skyfeathers pups are small, very small and not a single one came out nose first the way starclan intended pups to do. I have a feeling that these are illegitimate pups. the question is what are you going to do about it". his amber eyes watched shadestar, he personally would go back to shadowclan when the two clans split up again.

Honeysplash lay down and closed her eyes for a few omments before she opened them and began speaking in a husky voice "once, many moons ago there was a warrior, who was revered by his clan. he was strong and honourable, he was at the front of every battle and the last of every battle feild. he was kind and handsome, the only one he would confide in was his sister. She was the one who found out his secret love for a medicine wolf, the medicine wolfs Name was lightdawn. When lightdawn vanished and her apprentice Ravenpaw became the new medicine wolf. the warrior was not afraid to help her, till one day Ravensky vanished. the warrior was sent a dream by starclan telling him that he was the new medicine wolf" she paused and flicked her brown ears asking "what do you think happened next?"

(Umm blue was angry about the dog chewing up his foot.)
Blue stepped away from the nursery. He snorted,and noticed Darkpup and Honeysplash. He blinked his red eyes and shook her head, he padded back tot he den. He sat down in his nest. He watched the den closely.

Goldenpup sighed, turning to Eaglepup. She wanted to help the beating the two-leggeds, but she really couldn't. She looked at Eaglepup with affectionate eyes. Goldenpup truly loved him, and she hoped one day she could have pups of her own with him, to be able to have a family. Her mother and father either disappeared or are dead; she had no-one, only Eaglepup. No friends, no family. She included Eaglepup as family, but he wasn't blood-related, and he would probably be her future mate, although things might change...

Eaglepup heard what was happening in the nursery. He didn't want to be in front of it anymore. He put his ears back and headed over to the camp enterence. He layed down and watched camp. He tried keeping thoughts out of his head without much success.

Goldenpup's ears flattened and she walked over to Eaglepup. "What's wrong?" she whispered in a low tone. She bowed into the 'Let's play!' position and wagged her tail. She barked happily; she really wanted to help cheer him up.

Eaglepup looked up as goldenpup came over. He gave her a smile. " Nothing," he lied softly. He didn't want to talk about it. Goldenpup gave him a nice way to take his mind off any sadness. He got up into the play position and jumped to tackle her.

Honeysplash said "he did what he had to do but over time he became bitter and his kind side was shrouded with mist" she flicked her ears at owlscreech. signalling that the story was about him "but he is a great medicine wolf and he is half settled in both roles still"

(Ohh...sorry about that Blue. And that's very understandable)

Skyfeather padded back into camp, her head low and tail twitching uneasily. She was upset and confused and just didn't know what to think anymore. With a huff of irritation, the fae stalked over to the den and laid down in front of her pups, watching as they all squirmed back to the side of her stomach for warmth. A small smile twitched at the corner of her mouth as she lay her head down and watched them.

Magmafeather calmly slept in the warriors' den. He dreamt of running through the forest. He dreamt of Stormclan breaking up. Upon waking, he was unsure what the dream meant. Yes, Stormclan would break up eventually, but not until the snows had melted, and that hadn't happened. Perhaps he was simply trying to make things happen before they had to.

Hearing a sigh,Blue turned around and peered outside the den. He saw he saw Skyfeather coming back,from where ever she was. Blue narrowed his eyes. Even from here he could smell Windclan. Blue snorted it sighed. He shook his head and padded back to his nest.watching the ground sadly. He laid down. His head on his paws. "Sorry sky.."

Shadestar padded back into camp, but something didn't seem right. Sniffing the air he looked around. Walking up to Bluestorm he asked, "Did something happen while we were gone?" The leader couldn't put his paw on what exactly was out of place, but it was certainly different than when the group left it. "How long do you think it will take until your paw is fully healed?" he asked, adding on with a frown as he looked down at the warrior's injured limb.

Slypaw padded into camp. He looked around and noticed Shadestar asking Bluestorm something. Slypaw waited at the enterence for some of the party to come back so he could go on a patrol or hunt. He needed to help the clan and they were down some warriors at the moment.

(Bluestorm you posted it in training instead of here, so I'll just put it here for reference and then reply to it in this post.)
Hearing Shadestar's voice,Blue turned and met the lack wolf's gaze. His own red eyes burned with rage. He snorted. "Well,Skyfeather left for i don't know where. And,Silverheart collapsed." He paused. Letting the words sink in. "Snowstorm is a little annoyed. And..Well Owl says he can't do anything about it." Blue flicked his tail.
Hearing upon his leg,Blue growled lowly. "It won't heal. Its twisted for the rest of my life." Blue had started to stand in his new twisted back foot.
He narrowed his eyes at Shadestar. "I'll be fine. Don't worry. I'll learn how to use it." Blue flicked his ears and sat down.

Shadestar turned around quickly to look at the nursery as soon as he heard that Skyfeather had left. Perhaps the disappearance had to do with something innocent, but the leader supposed not. His tail twitched irritatedly and he made a mental note to discuss it with the white queen sometime in the future. His eyes opened widely for a moment as he heard of Silverheart's ailment, before his gaze returned back to normal. That was not good, especially for her pups. She had been fine for so long after their birth, what could be the problem now?

The leader decided to let the Deputy remain in peace for a while, especially if his mate would be passing on to StarClan soon. If Owlbreeze wasn't able to fix it, he knew the outlook was grim. A deepening frown appeared on his features as Bluestorm described his permanent injury. "How did this occur?" he asked sharply, looking down at the twisted paw. How would Bluestorm be able to fight and defend the Clan when he had a weakness that could be exploited for his opponent's advantage easily? The new litters of pups would hopefully yield strong warriors, but StormClan needed every wolf it could get in order to remain stronger than the other Clans. He simply nodded to Bluestorm's words and turned to leap onto the Highrock. The leader howled for a meeting.

(I know Foxpaw and Lunalight are gone right now for the promotion but we can just pretend they are here. As always, if I missed anyone let me know and I'll edit this post. Twistedpup, you'll have to talk to Owlscreech about becoming an apprentice to him for Medicine Wolf things)

"I have many announcements to make," Shadestar said. "Nightpup, Honeysplash, Eaglepup, Goldenpup, Purefeather, Lunalight and Foxpaw, Slypaw, Graystar and Darkpup please step forward" He waited for all of the wolves to move out from the crowd. He then continued. "From this moment, until they have earned their warrior names, these apprentices shall be known as Nightpaw, Eaglepaw, Goldenpaw, Darkpaw, and Foxpaw. Honeysplash, you will be mentor to Nightpaw, Purefeather to Eaglepaw, Lunalight to Goldenpaw, Graystar to Darkpaw and I will be mentor to Foxpaw. You are all true and trusted warriors, and I hope you will pass your knowledge to your new apprentices."

Finally he turned to Slypaw, the only apprentice that had not yet been named.
I,Shadestar, leader of StormClan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. He has trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend him to you as a warrior in his turn. Slypaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend this Clan, even at the cost of your life?" After the apprentice replied, the leader continued. "Then, by the powers of StarClan, I give you your warrior name. Slypaw, from this moment you will be known as Slyshadow. StarClan honors your fierce loyalty and courage, and we welcome you as a full member of StormClan." The darkly-furred leader then leaped off of the rock and approached Slyshadow. He leaned his head against the new warrior's shoulder, as the usual custom. He then pulled away and began the chant of Slyshadow's new name.

In his turn "Slyshadow" (yay) beamed. With all of the formalities taken care of Slyshadow made sure he stayed silent for he had vigile until morning. He walked proudly over to the enterence and sat down to take his watch. He stared into the forest with a little bit of happiness amongest all the sorrow.

Foxpaw walked into camp besmirched in mud, making her way over to shadestar she said respectfully "Shadestar i scented Copperpaw, Emberpaw and Shadowpaws scents" she waited to see if she had leave to go and clean herself then sleep in the apprentices den. she was so tired.

"Thank you, Foxpaw," Shadestar replied to his apprentice who suddenly came into camp. It seemed that Ashfeather and Lunalight had not yet returned. "You may go rest now. I will take care of the ThunderClan problem." The leader knew that he wished to go confront ThunderClan as soon as possible. Perhaps going alone would be the best idea, for the others would not believe it to be a trap or an attack. "I will be going to visit ThunderClan, I will return as soon as I can." Quickly he trotted out of the entrance of camp and towards the forests of ThunderClan territory in the distance.

Foxpaw dragged herself to the apprentices den and fell asleep in her nest. not caring that mud stuck to her she was so exhausted from all of this work. a contented smile was on her face however as she slumbered a way.

Blinking at Shadestar he was about to reply,but didn't since he went to do the ceremony's. then he left. He sighed he then turned to his old apprentice,he nodded to him. "What do you think? Being a warrior and all. But wait you have a vigil." He winked at Hm,then returned to his den.

Snowstorm's ears barely flicked towards Shadestar's voice as the leader made the announcements. He didn't even lift his head to look outside the nursery. He hadn't gotten any closer to smiling since he had found out about Silverheart, then when he heard that his old apprentice, Lunalight, had gotten one herself. But his face still did not manage a change. The deputy pressed his head closer to his mate's and gave her a gentle lick on the side of her muzzle.

The young fae walked through the camp entrance with slow and gentle gait. Her beautiful brown fur bounced in sync with her steps. Her ears perked up and her beautiful silver-grey eyes flashing like the moon flashes through the dark sky. She got near the apprentice den and sat down patiently. She was looking proud and exquisite in the same time. She still could not believe that she is a mentor. It was like about moon and a half when she was an apprentice and she was training with Snowstorm. She managed to complete so many tasks before she reach her first year. It was some kind a strange to have an apprentice which is only 3 moon younger than you. Even though she was really happy and she couldn't wait to convey knowledge to the next generation.

Darkpup had finished his fish, and was lying in the sun for just a bit, when he heard Shadestar call for a meeting. He didn't move at first, because he thought for sure that he wouldn't be having a ceremony yet, especially since he had attacked Eaglepup. But to his surprise, at the very end of the list of wolves that Shadestar called forward, came his name. He stood up, still surprised, and padded over to the rock. The pup was also surprised to hear that his mentor would be Graystar, a leader of StormClan. A bit of pride hit him as he heard his new name, Darkpaw. And also of his new mentor. He went over to Graystar and touched noses with her as all apprentices should with their mentors. He then looked up at the sky. It was getting dark. Darkpaw allowed a large yawn to escape from his mouth, before padding over to the apprentices den. When he got inside, he made a den out of moss in one of the corners at the back of the den before laying down and quickly falling asleep.

Honeysplash said gently to twistedpup "go talk to him, if you can get under his shell hes a real sweetie" she gently nosed the pup toward her older brother. her brown fur looking almost silvery in the moonlight. she walked over to the fresh kill pile and after much thought chose a rat. lying down rather comfortably she began gnawing on it. her jaws carefully working off the meat and goodness within the fresh kill. her brown eyes wondered where Apachewind could be. she wanted to have more philosphical discussios with him. not to mention the fact that him being near her caused a pleasant change in her body. her heart would beat fast and her ears would grow hot. she smiled secretly as she thought of him.

Skyfeather's ears twitched as she heard her name mentioned from outside the nursery, her body tensing before relaxing again. It was only Bluestorm talking to Shadestar about her leaving the camp. If the leader wanted to talk to her about it she wouldn't run away from him. With a small snort of air, the fae began to groom Spotpup, licking his fur in the opposite direction to warm him and then continued to do the same to the others.
