StormClan Camp

The StormClan camp is surrounded by prickly bushes and is well protected against outsiders. It is in the middle of a forest, a cross between ShadowClan and RiverClan camps. The nature of this causes the camp to become misty on particularly humid days. The leader's den are two big rocks that balance each other, creating a tunnel which is relatively large in nature. Plant matter hangs over the entrance and shields the inside from view. The elder's den is a large thorn bush, hollowed in the inside for comfort. It is well protected. The warriors den is an abandoned fox den which lost the scent of its previous owners long ago. The den has been expanded further by its new warrior inhabitants and is large enough for all of the warriors of the Clan. Beside this den is the apprentices den, which is a tree trunk which had fallen over long ago in a storm and over time was hollowed out by the elements. The nursery is similar to the Elder's den, as it is well protected by thorns and has a secure wall.

Owlscreech shook himself and gave darkpup a good hard stare warning him to be quiet. he then regarded skyfeather for a few moments before saying "Slypaw, go fetch some moss and wet it then bring it here, Skyfeather needs a drink". he fluffed up his fur then stood turning he noted his sister glancing around for someone and rolled his eyes irritably. he lashed his tail and stomped over toward shadestar he sat down and said in an iron voice "all of Skyfeathers pups are small, very small and not a single one came out nose first the way starclan intended pups to do. I have a feeling that these are illegitimate pups. the question is what are you going to do about it". his amber eyes watched shadestar, he personally would go back to shadowclan when the two clans split up again.

Nightpup blinked his eyes open and down at her and lowered his head slightly before nuzzling the top of her head as she pushed up against him. Her breathing evening out caused him to relax, his body becoming heavier. He tucked his head on top of hers and let out a sigh. With one last yawn, Nightpup closed his eyes again and let himself follow his sister's example of sleep.

Purefeather narrowed her blue eyes to Shadestar as he made his announcement. And with that, he left, as Graystar would obviously follow. As Purefeather watched other wolves follow tempted her to do the same thing, but she did not. There are enough wolves following them, and I don't think they'll need another. Besides, the two leaders are strong enough to face the Two legs she thought. Since there was nothing to do, she just laid down with her head lieing onto her paws and watched the pups.

Luna listed carefully to Shadestar's orders and as soon he told her to follow she got up and padded after him. It was sad that Bluestorm had to stay in camp because of his injured paw. Many other wolves followed even apprentices. Lunalight tried to get there as fast as she could.

Goldenpup smiled, and nodded to Eaglepup. Then she turned to Twistedpup, thinking, Yeah... Did you decide? She tilted her head. If she chose Medicine wolf, she could enter dreams!

Ashfeather got up from his den, stretching out his small limbs and waking up his powerful body. He growled so no-one could hear him, "Just because I'm small, that doesn't mean I can't help you! So, I'll still go anyway..." He was small, but he was fast and strong. He went to follow, jumping over Goldenpup as he left the camp.

Blue flicked his tail. He yawned and watched the den carefully. He fell asleep. Not aware of what was happening in camp.

The last words came from Skyfeather, but she was unable to reply. Shrinking down slowly her eyes glazed over and she collapsed to the ground. A small cloud of dust rising into the air. Her body went limp, and only her side raised up and down slowly. Every couple of minutes her paw or tail would twitch. The pups whined a few whisker lengths away nudging at Silverheart. Her breathing shallow and quiet. She couldn't understand or comprehend what was even going on. Laying on the ground until darkness swept over her and she laid there still, but she wasn't dead just yet....

Hearing something collasp,Blue stood up,he turned and tried to find the where the sound came from. He raced over to the nursery. He heard only shallow breathing,and he nudged her. He blinked. Ok,come on Silver. Don't die just yet. You have pups. And Snow will miss you. Blue blinked and watched her carefully.

Sparrowheart watched as Silverheart fell unconscious. It was met with gasps from her, she took a few of Skyfeather's pups because they looked hungry. She had no idea where the queen was so she would nurse them until the queen returned later. Her pups were out playing.

Glancing at the Sparrowheart,Blue shook his head. "What do you think happened?" Blue blinked,the flicked is tail. He sat down and watched Silverheart closely.

Owlscreech stomped into camp and inspected her he grunted "the pups must have broken something in her when she gave birth it happens sometimes... there is nothing i can do" he sat down and glared noticing that Skyfeather was gone. he gave a low growl "where is Skyfeather..." even as he asked he knew. he stomped out of the nursery and sat at the entance to camp a stormy llook on his grizzled features.

Snowstorm listened to what Shadestar had to say and watched as the wolves he told to come with him, along with Graystar and some other wolves that Shadestar did not tell to come, left camp. He sighed and turned towards the nursery before padding over to it. He peeked his head inside the nursery and let out a gasp as he saw the scene inside. "Silverheart!" He barked, running into the nursery and standing next to his mate. The white wolf tried not to panic, but didn't succeed. "Silverheart...are you okay? Wha-what do you need?" He snapped his head toward Bluestorm. "What happened?" He didn't wait for a reply. "Where's Owlscreech!?" Snowstorm turned his attention to Owlscreech and stepped aside as the medicine wolf came into the nursery and said what must have happened, and that there was nothing he could do. What! The wolf thought, fury rising inside him. He followed Owlscreech out of the nursery and barked, pure fury, as well as worry in his voice, "What do you mean there's nothing you can do!? There's got to be something you can do!"

Glaring at Snowstorm,he scrunched up his muzzle. Blue growled. "I don't know. I heard her collasp,and I rushed over." He snorted as he looked for Owlscreech. That cranky wolf couldn't help her. It was up to Starclan. He sighed and went back to the den. H laid down,but watched as everything unfolded.

(Snowstorm didn't say that to you angrily Blue. Just panicked...and loudly)

Darkpup awoke to the sound of a wolf collapsing. He turned his head to see a Silver colored wolf collapse and her breathing grew shallow. He wondered what had happened. He jumped as two wolves ran into the nursery. One of them started freaking out and Darkpup thought that must be the wolves mate. The pup crept further into the shadows so that nobody could see any part of of him but his eyes.

He snapped at the deputy "there is nothing i can do you fool! give me the powers of starclan and i could wake her up! its her time! the thing you can do for her now is to look after her pups! and be with her. Unless you want me to tear her open to try and find out what is wrong" he growled lowly. his golden eyes glittered, the wolf was inches away from attacking someone.

Snowstorm was about to leap onto the cranky medicine wolf and attack him, but before he did, a bit of reason shot through him. What would that help? There was obviously nothing he could do to help Silverheart. Owlscreech might be cranky, but Snowstorm knew he would never just leave a wolf to die. He gave the medicine wolf a glare before slipping into the nursery and going to over to Silverheart. All feelings except for sadness left the deputy's body as he collapsed next to his mate. "Oh Silverheart...." He said in very quiet voice. "Why....why must you leave me....why now?" He gave her a gentle lick on the head before laying his own head next to her's. "I love you....so much..." At this moment, nothing else mattered. Only Silverheart. Snowstorm did not care about anything else right now, and everything else seemed very far away....

Darkpup watched everything happen. Eventually he decided to leave the nursery, so he stood up and quickly padded out of the nursery and over to the fresh-kill pile. He picked out a fish and brought it little ways away before chewing away. As he sat there eating, he couldn't stop thinking about the queen in the nursery whom had collapsed. Though his eyes were dark and emotionless.

Honeysplash returned to camp, she looked around and noticed the most adorable in her opinion pup. she walked over and sat beside the pup with the twisted paw and said in her soft gentle voice "im Honeysplash who are you little one". she tilted her head, her brown fur settling down on her shoulders from her joyus run here from fourtrees. she smiled down at the pup, her brown eyesglittering with kindness. her chocolate brown fur looked pretty tasty.

Sparrowheart's eyes were still widened, she was sad. Silverheart had been her inspiration and she looked at the deputy. She let the pups wander as she stood up. Her eyes were full of compassion as she padded over to Snowstorm. She tried to comfort the male as much as she could, for the deputy was important, and he was sad. "StarClan saw it as her time. Think about it as you'll know she's always with you and she's watching over you. She would have wanted you to stay strong." She whispered before standing up and heading back to the nursery.

Snowstorm barely heard Sparrowheart speak to him. He lifted his head and looked at Silverheart's side. The rise and fall was very shallow now, and Snowstorm wondered how much longer his mate would be with him. He looked at Sparrowheart solemnly and nodded to her in thanks, before resting his head next to Silverheart's again.

He remembered their first adventure together. It was at the gathering that the clans had gone to the strange twoleg place, and Silverheart, Silverpup at the time, and him had found a tunnel. They had been trapped, but eventually dug their way out. The tunnel collapsed, but he had pushed Silverheart out of the way, so it collapsed on him, badly injuring his leg. That injury had taken a long time to heal. But it finally had. He would give his leg away if it could save Silverheart though.

Honeysplash flicked her ears and said "do you want to hear a story about a warrior who became a medicine wolf?" her brown eyes watched the pup. she gave a slight smile knowing the entire story. she was probbaly one of the few wolves who knew the entirety of this story.
