StormClan Camp

The StormClan camp is surrounded by prickly bushes and is well protected against outsiders. It is in the middle of a forest, a cross between ShadowClan and RiverClan camps. The nature of this causes the camp to become misty on particularly humid days. The leader's den are two big rocks that balance each other, creating a tunnel which is relatively large in nature. Plant matter hangs over the entrance and shields the inside from view. The elder's den is a large thorn bush, hollowed in the inside for comfort. It is well protected. The warriors den is an abandoned fox den which lost the scent of its previous owners long ago. The den has been expanded further by its new warrior inhabitants and is large enough for all of the warriors of the Clan. Beside this den is the apprentices den, which is a tree trunk which had fallen over long ago in a storm and over time was hollowed out by the elements. The nursery is similar to the Elder's den, as it is well protected by thorns and has a secure wall.

Owlscreech shook himself and gave darkpup a good hard stare warning him to be quiet. he then regarded skyfeather for a few moments before saying "Slypaw, go fetch some moss and wet it then bring it here, Skyfeather needs a drink". he fluffed up his fur then stood turning he noted his sister glancing around for someone and rolled his eyes irritably. he lashed his tail and stomped over toward shadestar he sat down and said in an iron voice "all of Skyfeathers pups are small, very small and not a single one came out nose first the way starclan intended pups to do. I have a feeling that these are illegitimate pups. the question is what are you going to do about it". his amber eyes watched shadestar, he personally would go back to shadowclan when the two clans split up again.

Magmafeather entered the camp. He quickly began keeping one eye on Darkpaw. Who knew when the apprentice might try to leave again? He only could hope that none of the other apprentices would take a leaf from Darkpaw's book.

Owlscreech finished preparing bluestorm and shifted him around so he looked like he was sleeping. he said to twistedpaw "right twistedpaw, i suspect that lunalight will want to bury him so we will leave that to her. come with me im going to introduce you to the oldest warrior in the clan" he turned and walked over to magmafeather, his fellow grumpy old wolf. he sat down and said "hows things going along magmafeather?"

Owlscreech looked at his apprentice guessing why she snorted he said "aye t'was a cruel trick of your parents to name you that. i would have named you Aurorapup". he gave her a rough lick to the head. the most amount of affection he had ever given anyone. he grunted a little to himself and watched her with affection before he shot a cold glare at Sparrowheart.

Snowstorm stopped licking Silverheart and spoke. "You had me so worried... I don't know what I would have done... I thought for sure..." he moved his dark blue eyes so that they were staring right into hers. "Well... you know." The white wolf sat down and wrapped his tail around his mate's before giving her one final lick on the cheek. But then, he caught the scent of blood and death.

Snowstorm looked out the entrance of the nursery and saw what the smell was coming from. Laying there on the ground, was the lifeless body of Bluestorm. He looked back at Silverheart and said, "I'll be right back." Before standing up and padding out of the nursery. He went over to the body of Bluestorm. "What happened?" He asked Owlscreech, sniffing the dead warrior. He caught a strange scent, and his mind immediately jumped to the twolegs with the Thundersticks. "Curse those twolegs." He whispered to himself.

Sparrowheart gently slept, her pups apprentices now, she felt her duty as a queen complete. She hated herself for what she had done, calling Twistedpaw as she did. Now that she thought about it, it was a terrible name. It was obvious to her that Twistedpaw hated the name. Her breathing slowed as she was called. StarClan called her, and she stopped breathing all together. Her body was limp, she didn't want to die yet, but she did. Forgive me Creekfire, forgive me my pups. Her last thoughts before she faded off.

When Bluestorm was ready the fae just nodded to the medicine wolf and his apprentice. She carefully carried his body somewhere not that far from the camp. The place she had chosen was under one young tree. She placed his body and began digging. When the hole was read she got near her lover's body and licked his muzzle gently. "This is not the end my love. We will meet again. Just wait for me in Starclan." she said as she nuzzled him for the last time. She then carefully placed his body and buried him.
She sat down next to his grave and placed a paw over it. She looked at the sky for one last time as her tears ran down. She then got up and returned to the camp. She made few steps in when she suddenly collabsed on the ground. She did not feel well. The shock of Blue's death made her head and chest hurt so much. Her look got cloudy and she was not even able to ask for help.

Snowstorm watched as Lunalight dragged Bluestorm's body out of camp to bury it, before returning after a while. "I am so sorry for your loss, Luna." He said, nudging her comfortingly. He turned back toward the nursery and began padding to it. But before he got very far, he heard a thump, and whipped around to see that Lunalight had collapsed.

The deputy rushed over to the wolf who had once been his apprentice and checked her over. "Lunalight... are you okay?" he asked, but it seemed as though she couldn't answer him. "Oh no." He grabbed her by the scruff and dragged her into the medicine den before rushing back out and calling to Owlscreech, whom was talking with Magmafeather. "Owlscreech! Something is wrong with Lunalight. I've brought her into the medicine den!" He returned to his old apprentice and whispered, "Come on, Luna. Hold on."

Darkpaw glanced outside the apprentices' den and saw Magmafeather watching him. He bared his teeth at the warrior and turned around in his nest, so that he wouldn't have to look at that heartless wolf. He might have Graystar as a new wolf that would be kind to him. But it was still the same old story with Magmafeather. Darkpaw knew that he never would, and never wanted to be, friends with that annoying warrior.

Her eyes flooded with worry as wolves barked to one another. What could've happened, was someone hurt or is possibly dead? Questions clawed at her fur and her mind paced. She hated being locked away from this, she hated not knowing. Grumbling to herself she held her tongue with her teeth. Sitting patiently her heart beat finally reaching its normal pace. It had been rather hectic since Stormclan had been formed. Shrugging she groomed her fur which was covered in dust and moss. Waiting until she was updated on the occurrences outside of the nursery.

Seeing that Graystar was offering a safe activity to Darkpaw, Magmafeather assumed the apprentice would not run off again. At least for now. As he walked past the nursery, he noticed out of the corner of his eye that Silverheart looked unusually stressed. He had little else to do, so he went into the nursery. Resting a paw on his former apprentice carefully, he sat down next to her. "Is something wrong?" he said calmly. "Do you need the medicine wolf?" He waited for a response.

Darkpaw lifted his head and stared at Graystar as she spoke to him. He nodded. "Okay." He stood up, shook himself vigorously and padded out of the apprentices' den. He went over to the entrance of camp and sat down to wait for Graystar, just like last time. He hoped that this time, though, no wolf would come in, dragging the lifeless, bloody body of another. He highly doubted that it would happen again. But it was still possible.

Luna saw her old mentor but on his question she couldn't answer. She was dragged to the medicine den. She could only watch and hear the things happening around her but nothing more. Her efforts to get up were hopeless. She saw Snowstorm returning in the den and telling her to hold on. Her ears twitched in sign that she understood but nothing more. Her breathing became faster and she felt her body getting warmer. What is happening with me? she thought.

Snowstorm watched Lunalight's breathing grow faster. He wondered what was happening. Maybe it was the pain from losing the one she loved with all her heart. Or maybe... maybe there was more pups on the way. He went back over to the entrance of the medicine den and called, "Owlscreech, I have a hunch on what it is. You might want to get in here quickly!" He then returned back to the nest his old apprentice was laying in.

Owlscreech snapped at snowstorm "of course i realise that there is more pups on the way you complete noob! i am a medicine wolf after all! what is it with wolves doubting my medicine capabilities? is it because i used to be a warrior for starclans sake?". he snarled at other wolves seeming in a pretty bad mood. however he gently flicked his tial for twistedpaw to follow him. he stalked into the nursery and nipped at snowstorm "out out out! give me breathing room!" he walked to his stores and grabbed several mouthfuls of rasberry leaves, borage and for good measure a stick. He knew that he couldnt give her pain killers because she would need to know when to push. he said through a mouthfull of herbs "twistedpaw go and fetch some moss and wet it. then put it infront of Lunalights mouth so she can lick it as required" with that he walked down to where lunalight was and placed a paw on her belly. "now now now relax you poor old thing. breath in and out, huffing and puffing like that wont help anyone especially you because you will faint from too much oxygen!" He began showing her how to breathe. in then out in a slower rhythm than she was breathing but still fast enough so she could find the strength to push. "now you will begin feeling ripples of pain, you have to push with them when they get to their strongest point. dont you dare push till i tell you so young lady"

The young fae looked at her old mentor. Her ears twitched when he called Owlscreech again. Could it be..? she thought.
Lunalight glanced at the medicine wolf and blinked few times. She could finally see though her breathing was still fast. He explained her what to do and even shown her how to slow her breathing rhythm. Luna did as Owlscreech said. He explained her that she will feel ripples of pain and she have to push when they are in their strongest point, yet he added that she should do it when he says so. Luna nodded slowly understanding every of his word. She breathed in and then out. She did it multiple times before she began feeling that pain which the medicine wolf was talking about.

He let his paw rest there as he waited, he seemed to be doing nothing but what he was doing was counting the minutes between contractions. he flicked his ears and bared his teeth a little, noticing a bit of an odd bulge. hmmm somethings not right, however there was nothing he could do as the time was right for Lunalight to begin to push the first pup out "push!" he barked.

Lunalight tried as much as she can to keep her breathing the way Owlscreech shown her. Suddenly she felt a sharp pain and the medicine wolf barked to push. The fae pushed as much as she could. Her claws came out a little as she digged one of them in the ground. Her breathing began growing faster again but she normalized it quickly.

Shaking her head she looked up at her former mentor. "No I'm fine just stressed that's all, but thanks" she said while forcing a grin. She listened to her mate in the distance carefully. It seemed that Owlscreech was needed. Sighing she shifted in her spot uneasily for the hundredth time. Letting her eyes rest on Magmafeather she scanned him over. "How have you been?" She questioned.
