StormClan Camp

The StormClan camp is surrounded by prickly bushes and is well protected against outsiders. It is in the middle of a forest, a cross between ShadowClan and RiverClan camps. The nature of this causes the camp to become misty on particularly humid days. The leader's den are two big rocks that balance each other, creating a tunnel which is relatively large in nature. Plant matter hangs over the entrance and shields the inside from view. The elder's den is a large thorn bush, hollowed in the inside for comfort. It is well protected. The warriors den is an abandoned fox den which lost the scent of its previous owners long ago. The den has been expanded further by its new warrior inhabitants and is large enough for all of the warriors of the Clan. Beside this den is the apprentices den, which is a tree trunk which had fallen over long ago in a storm and over time was hollowed out by the elements. The nursery is similar to the Elder's den, as it is well protected by thorns and has a secure wall.

Owlscreech shook himself and gave darkpup a good hard stare warning him to be quiet. he then regarded skyfeather for a few moments before saying "Slypaw, go fetch some moss and wet it then bring it here, Skyfeather needs a drink". he fluffed up his fur then stood turning he noted his sister glancing around for someone and rolled his eyes irritably. he lashed his tail and stomped over toward shadestar he sat down and said in an iron voice "all of Skyfeathers pups are small, very small and not a single one came out nose first the way starclan intended pups to do. I have a feeling that these are illegitimate pups. the question is what are you going to do about it". his amber eyes watched shadestar, he personally would go back to shadowclan when the two clans split up again.

Goldenpaw returned the normla look and backed away in a submissive tone. "Shadestar, someone told me that Direstar said, 'if you cross that border something bad will happen.' or something like that, when Sunstrike crossed the border? What if it's true? What if they're planning to attack right now. What if..."

Foxpaw smiled up at slyshadow then perked her ears hearing Goldenpaw. her brown eyes sharpened and she wandered over sitting down she said "if they do we will be ready, sunclan is nothing but a pack of cowards not even a clan. Direstar has no right to sit on the great rock during gatherings". the fox looking apprentice flicked her large ears and watched Goldenpaw. she tiltedher head wondering if Goldenpaw would be intrested in being one of her few friends.

Shadestar nodded to Goldenpaw absentmindedly. "We should send a patrol over, just in case. You can assemble one, Goldenpaw." His gaze moved to Graystar as she walked into camp. "Could you take the body to SunClan and explain to them what occurred? They'll believe you more than me, and I don't want StormClan to be blamed for the death. Take any other level-headed warrior with you that won't cause trouble, perhaps?"

The white male followed Graystar into camp before stopping and sat down. As he watched the older grey female enter shadestar den the male sighed a little as he looked around the busy camp.

Eaglepaw walked into camp and hurried over to Goldenpaw. He quickly got caught up with the situation and didn't like it. He looked up at Shadestar and said, "I can go. My father has been training me. I can fight if need be." Sunclan was becoming a problem and Eaglepaw wanted to help.

WhiteStone said there a little bored he had nothing to do for the rest of the day. As he sat in the middle of the clearing he's licked he's paws. WhiteStone royal blue gaze turned to shadestar den, he wondered what was going on.

The white male yawned, and decided to go back into the warriors den. The snow white male sat down deep inside the warrior den watching the entrance. He closed he's left eye. As the line scare could be shown completed.

Shadestar nodded, looking at Eaglepaw. "Watch yourselves, though. If Direstar made threats like that when he saw his son leaving, imagine what he'll do when he returns dead. If anything happens return to the camp and we can prepare for anything that may occur. The SunClan leader is unpredictable- and so, just in case, I'd like to be ready. Someone find Owlscreech and return him to camp, we'll need him to make sure Lunalight is okay and move her to the nursery. I'd like a patrol of at least 3 wolves to patrol the SunClan StormClan border, but the rest should remain in camp until further orders."

Eaglepaw nodded his head to Shadestar and Goldenpaw before walking up to help Graystar. He hoped they didn't get attacked but he knew it was a possibility. He was nervous about heading into another clan but knew it had to be done and he was happy to help.

Slyshadow listened to the conversation and got angered. If Graystar or Eaglepaw was attacked there would be a fight and Sunclan need to be put in line. Staying where he was Slyshadow spoke out. " Shadestar, I'll help with the patrol on the border. We don't want to leave Graystar or Eaglepaw defenceless if they get attacked. I don't trust them." The only wolf he trusted from Sunclan was Foxpaw and she was part of his clan now and he liked it that way.

The white male opened he's left scared eye as he got up. He walked up to the entrance of the den as he's royal blue eyes adjusted to the sunlight the male watched slyshadow insist he should go with them incase of an attack, he looked to shadestar wondering what he's repsonse would be.

"Very well, Slyshadow. If anything happens that you notice I want to know about it immediately." He knew the warrior and apprentice would be able to manage, but he couldn't help but worry. If he was sending them into a death trap he would never be able to forgive himself. Catching sight of Whitestone he said, "Why don't you go with Slyshadow? Try and find Owlscreech and ask him to return to camp, please, while you are there if you can find him." Then he saw Goldenpaw. "Goldenpaw, could you and anyone else you can find reinforce the camp's walls and entrance? We may not have an attack, but every little thing can always help."

Sly followed Graystar's direction but in reality had no idea where he was going. He moved the dead wolfs pelt in his mouth so he could easily drop it and block and attack if he needed too. THe chance of getting attacked was high but he hoped it didn't come to that.

Sunclan camp-

Slyshadow lowered his head to Shadestar and nodded his head to Whitestone to leave. " If I see Owlscreech I'll be sure he hurries back." Slyshadow headed toward camp entrance hoping to go fast before something happened. He took a quick look behind him to see if Whitestone was following but continued at a fast speed. He hoped Foxpaw stayed safe but knew she could handle herself.

Sunclan border-

WhiteStone looked to Shadestar and just gave him a nod as he and slyshadow headed out. The white male left the camp as he heard what slyshadow said he wondered what was going on. Maybe this unfortunate situation could cause a war.

Goldenpaw smiled and dipped her head in respect to Shadestar, then smiled at him. She trotted towards the camp walls, adding sticks and thorns. After she rand out of stuff, however, she decided it was time to go get some more. To the marshes! she thought with a grin.

Of course, Magmafeather thought. Direstar wasn't completely stupid, at least he knew that if Sunstrike had joined Stormclan, trouble would have followed. He had hoped that Sunstrike would simply have been chased away rather than died, but perhaps it was for the better. He only hoped that Direstar wasn't stupid enough to launch his own attack on Sunclan, an attack that Thunderclan might join to ensure that Stormclan would never try to take sunningrocks from Thunderclan. Magmafeather went near the camp entrance, waiting to see if an attack would come.

"I think we have plenty of wolves outside of camp. I would prefer it if you stayed here just in case, Twistedpaw. Be prepared for any fighting or attacking and get your herbs ready. They will avoid you, but you must be quick and heal our Clanmates when they need it." It would be her first battle and Shadestar didn't want her to be overwhelmed if she was the only Medicine Wolf in camp at the time of the attack. Graystar and Slyshadow had not yet returned and the StormClan leader was becoming suspicious and anxious.

Slyshadow ran into camp and didn't stop until he was in front of Shadestar. He was panting and out of breathe from running there and back. " They are planning an attack! They're coming. Windclan and Sunclan! " he stopped hoping he hadn't talked to fast.

Goldenpaw growled as she placed the sticks and brambles on the walls. Eaglepaw wasn't back yet. She needed to make sure her beloved was safe. With the slight stench of fear, she sprinted to SunClan camp, just to get Graystar maybe?
