StormClan Camp

The StormClan camp is surrounded by prickly bushes and is well protected against outsiders. It is in the middle of a forest, a cross between ShadowClan and RiverClan camps. The nature of this causes the camp to become misty on particularly humid days. The leader's den are two big rocks that balance each other, creating a tunnel which is relatively large in nature. Plant matter hangs over the entrance and shields the inside from view. The elder's den is a large thorn bush, hollowed in the inside for comfort. It is well protected. The warriors den is an abandoned fox den which lost the scent of its previous owners long ago. The den has been expanded further by its new warrior inhabitants and is large enough for all of the warriors of the Clan. Beside this den is the apprentices den, which is a tree trunk which had fallen over long ago in a storm and over time was hollowed out by the elements. The nursery is similar to the Elder's den, as it is well protected by thorns and has a secure wall.

Owlscreech shook himself and gave darkpup a good hard stare warning him to be quiet. he then regarded skyfeather for a few moments before saying "Slypaw, go fetch some moss and wet it then bring it here, Skyfeather needs a drink". he fluffed up his fur then stood turning he noted his sister glancing around for someone and rolled his eyes irritably. he lashed his tail and stomped over toward shadestar he sat down and said in an iron voice "all of Skyfeathers pups are small, very small and not a single one came out nose first the way starclan intended pups to do. I have a feeling that these are illegitimate pups. the question is what are you going to do about it". his amber eyes watched shadestar, he personally would go back to shadowclan when the two clans split up again.

Owlscreech glared back at her and snapped "stop your moping and hiding away from the world woman! eat these herbs then go out and get something to eat from the fresh kill pile. your pups wont die while you are gone. and your muscles need excersise." with that he left her too it and stomped out of the den to sit in the new leaf sun. he shook out his pelt and glared up at the sun enjoying its warmth. his eye was caught by twisted pup and he flicked his ears at her. wanting her to come over to him.

Skyfeather glared after Owlscreech but saw reason in his words. With a sigh, Skyfeather slowly extracted herself from her four pups, nosing them softly and licking the grey one's head. She knew she had to name them soon but it felt wrong without Tallfeather having any consent. Even though she didn't want him knowing they were still his pups. With another sigh, Skyfeather padded out of the nursery, her unused muscles sore and tight as she made her way over to the fresh kill pile and chose a rabbit to eat.

Owlscreech grunted then began licking his shoulder fur. a solitary figure in this clan of mates and pups. his golden eyes glittered with pride as he continued grooming himself. his grey shaggy fur keeping out the worst of the breeze. he watched Skyfeather with a disapproving eye. he stood and walked over to her and said "i know the father of your pups is Tallfeather, are you still going to see him or have you realised the truth of your folly?"

Skyfeather narrowed her eyes at the grey wolf, rabbit forgotten, at his words of her relationship with Tallfeather. She felt bile rise up in her throat as she released a deep growl, baring her canines at the male. "You have no place to talk about him," she snarled at him, hackles rising as she took a step closer to the brute. "And you have no place to mention my pups." With a final growl and snap of warning, Skyfeather picked up her rabbit and stalked back to the nursery, her tail lashing with her ears pinned down in anger.

His eyes glowed and he determindly followed her "i do so i am the medicine wolf, i have reported you to shadestar. you are lucky that he accepted your pups. stay away from tallfeather Skyfeather that is advice. And be prepared to awnser their questions of who is their father". he turned and walked out of camp heading for the river. females

The small pup mewled loudly, awoken by the sudden coldness that gripped her small body. Three other pups (two? I don't remember) were at her side, but there was not enough heat for everyone. The small scrap began whining for milk from her mother that was no longer there. Every couple of seconds she would make another noise, steadily getting louder. Squirming around in the nursery she could feel other warm bodies. Finding another litter that gave up more heat, she squirmed into the middle of the group and then rested there.

With a snort around her meal, Skyfeather reentered then den and immediately laid down behind the quad of pups. She set the meal down gently a little ways away from the young wolves and nosed them softly. She sighed realizing that she would have to name them without her mate's consent. She felt like she was wronging the pups by not having them named already. Skyfeather nosed the oldest one, a small light grey she-pup with a darker grey covering her back, paws, and some of her tail. With a tentative lick to the pup's forehead, Skyfeather murmured to herself, "Riverpup," as her fur reminded her of the rivers in winter, when the litter was born.

The fae then went on to the next pup, the eldest male of the group. His fur was pitch black and it made Skyfeather wonder who he ever got the colouring from her and Tallfeather. He would stand out in their family but she had this feeling that he would fit in just fine. "Nightpup," was all she said as she moved on to the second male. He too had black patterned into his fur: his underbelly, right hind leg, and a spot around his left eye. A small smile tugged at the white wolf's lips at the making. "Spotpup."

Finally, Skyfeather eyed the last and smallest of her pups. The young fae was a pale peachy colour, like a faded out rose in dust. There were dark grey furs at the tips of her ears, covering her snout, her underbelly, and all but her front right paw. The name came easily to Skyfeather as she licked the pup. "Rosepup."

Snowstorm hadn't noticed that Goldenpup had left, he was too focused on the higher part of the camp entrance to notice such a small creature going through. But then Mammothpup followed the other pup, calling out to her, as well as catching the deputy's attention. He was about to spring after them, but Purefeather noticed and got after them first. He leaned down and spoke to Slypaw, "Go and help Purefeather get the pups back. We don't even want a warrior alone with all these rats and wolves from other clans running around in our territory."

Then he caught notice of Owlscreech and Skyfeather's quarrel. It ended with Skyfeather going back to the nursery and Owlscreech leaving camp. Snowstorm shook his head and let out a sigh. They both had tempers on them, that was for sure.

Her eyes snapped open as the nausea swept over her. Sweat seemed to dampen her silver fur that glinted in the faint light. Silverheart shifted, and let out a deep breath. Possibly she was just hot or hungry. Shaking her head she felt her stomach tighten and twist. Running her tongue over her muzzle she whined slightly. The nursery spun in circles as she sat up slowly. Her teeth gritted as a cramp shot through her body.

Purefeather finally found Goldenpup walking near the entrance of the camp. "Goldenpup! Don't do that again! It's not safe out there, you could've been hurt." she said relieved that there was no injuries in this wolf pup. Purefeather carried Goldenpup in her jaws softly as she walked back inside the nursery. She slowly dropped the pup down, and laid down next to her. Purefeather flicked her tail next to Goldenpup, chuckleing a little. She then moved her eyes to Snowstorm, and nodded, showing that everything is ok.

(I hope this isn't ruined, but I think Goldenpup went a bit too quick before Mammothpup could follow her, also Eaglepup...)

Skyfeather tensed and looked over from where she was licking newly named Rosepup at the sound of another body moving. She saw that it was only Silverheart and relaxed slightly before noticing that the queen was wavering back and forth a little bit. "Silverheart?" she questioned, her voice going uncharacteristically softer and kinder, "Are you alright? Do you need something?"

Goldenpup walked away a few steps. She wanted to be back by Eaglepup. But considering what she had done, she thought walking away would be rude. She turned, looking back at Purefeather.

Blue nodded to Foxpaw.then heard about him having a twisted paw. He snorted and lapped down again. He watched Sky and Owl screech quarrel,and he rolled his eyes. He saw two other pups dash off as well. He frowned and just curled up.

Ealglepup had fallen asleep and woke up to Goldenpup gone. He got worried and started to look around. He found her over by the entrence by someone he hadn't met before. He walked over to Goldenpup and sat down. "Where did you go? You smell wierd." Slypaw turned to her and started licking her head affectionatly.

Goldenpup bent forward, burying her nose in Eaglepup's fur. "I went out exploring. ThunderClan mutts were on our territory!" she growled only so he could hear. Goldenpup sat next to Eaglepup, leaning on him slightly.

"I should have been with you. We could have taken them." He said proudly. Eaglepup was feeling better. The scraches on his stomach were almost healed and he almost couldn't feel it anymore. He turned back and stared at the new wolf. "who are you?" he asked.

Luna padded in the camp slowly. Everything seemed normal and quiet. Did they heard it? she thought. The young warrior walked to the medicine den. She made a few steps in as she noticed Bluestorm. It was really hard for her to hide her worry but she tried. She got near him as she sat down and smiled to her love. "How are you?" she asked as she nuzzled him gently. She slowly placed her tail next to his and with a lovely smile she waited for his answer.

Goldenpup looked at Purefeather. Yeah, who are you? she thought, not wanting to speak at the moment. Goldenpup curled her tail around Eaglepup's leg, holding it to make sure he stayed. She looked at Purefeather.

Shadestar walked back into StormClan camp. By now the light of dawn was beginning to reach the dens. Yawning, he walked over to his den and sat in front of it, in his usual spot. Nothing much had happened at the Gathering this time around. No one from StormClan had gotten hurt. He knew that StormClan and ThunderClan agreed on one thing, though, and that was on the topic of Mosseybreeze. Pondering, he sat in silence and watched the camp as wolves went about their business.

Goldenpup looked in Shadestar's direction. I'm not afraid of you! she thought, running over to Shadestar's back, prodding him with her paw. She scratched him softly with her claws. It might've been able to break skin.

Hearing about Thunderclan wolves on Stormclan territory,he turned and faced the pups. Blue growled. "Where were they?" He flicked his tail. He ignored Luna,wanting to take out his anger in someone or something.

Goldenpup diddn't want to speak, but she did, "They left back to their own territory. They were at the stinky marsh." She then shut up and began prodding Shadestar with a stick. She wanted to see how he reacted.

Bluestorm growled. He flicked his tail. "Thunderclan knows no boundaries." He growled and stalked outside.he laid in the Warrior's den. Not caring about his twisted foot any more.
