Direstar returned adn placed down snowpup saying "go snuggle up with your mother, she needs you, your apprentice ceremony is closer than you think". with that he swished his tail and sighed, feeling old and tired he raised his voice saying in a strong voice "Sunstrike has left Sunclan, if you see him again make sure you personally teach him not to come back. Otterpups loss was a blow to us all but there is yet hope! we will guard our camp against eagles, by watching out on the top of our cave! I will announce his loss at the next gathering and hope that someone might have found him". his blood red eyes drifted over his clan.. his beloveclan. his voice broke as he said "Together we are strong, for the strength of the pack is the wolf and the strength of the wolf is the pack! we must trust and love each other if Sunclan is to stay strong". he dipped his head and began walkin toward his den.

He lifted his head and looked at her, hurt and anger in his boiling blood eyes "no." he said flatly. he sighed and said in a gentler tone "No, Sunstrike... he betrayed everything about sunclan... i had named him for this clan he has no idea how much moonwhisper and i gave up to make this new place". his ears pinned back, "I wish he had challanged me for leadership so that way i could have taught him his place". he sat down in his large spacious den and rested his head on his paws.

He nodded and stuck his black nose in her ear "it will be ok, even if i have to loose all of my nine lives i will make it ok and safe as i can for my wolves" he smiled wearily then sighed. he wondered what shadowstorm had to say. He stood adn walked out nosing shadowstorm "what exactly happened?" his eye was caught by fernshade and he flicked an ear at her wanting to speak to her afterward

He grunted and said "im allowed to love again... my pups are grown, surely i have the right to love". his tail lashed and he growled "Firestar the male was able to have pups and a mate. so Sunstrike can shove it right up that puckered butthole of his" he swore rather jucily. he flattened his ears. his blood red eyes boiling with rage. none of the wolves of his clan had seen him this agitated before. they boiled as they had boiled at shadestar the night he had first leapt up on the rock and announced sunclan.

She looked to Direstar. "of course you do."said EbonyFur. The fae looked to Shadowstorm and Fernshade. Surely they had something to say.

Direstar huffed glad that his new mate thought so, he watched his daughter and his friend with his boiling eyes. they were furious at Sunstrike he understood exactly how fernshade felt, he wanted to rip and tear till all of his anger was gone. he shook his feet agitatedly, he needed to run to hunt to get the itch out of his paws.

His ear flicked as he felt warm breath in his ear, he listened intently to what ebonyfur said then stopped a little. she was expecting? joy and sadness flamed through him. happiness that he was going to be a father again and sadness that his current offspring might think they were being replaced. he glanced at Fernshade and shadowstorm, a slight smile on his muzzle from the news. he flicked an ear saying "shadowstorm could you go and find Keaflight once you have breifed me. i want you and her to patrol the borders and take a leaf out of owlscreeches sharp words books"

EbonyFur tilted her head. She saw sadness and happiness in her mates eyes. She smiled at her beloved. The fae nuzzled his cheek and sat down.

He nodded and said "Sure thing Amberwing" making sure that snowpup didnt hear he whispered in her ear "you are going to be snowpups mentor" he smiled at her then stepped back. snowpup wouldnt be an apprentice for some time but he thought she should know.

EbonyFur smiled and looked to Amberwing as she padded over. The fae greeted her once more and giggled. She saw Dire whisper something into Amber's and chuckled. The warrior stuck close to her mate.

Direstar winked and said "best keep it a secret for now, i was thinking of Letting ebonyfur mentor rainpup" he glanced at his mate "how would that be for you ebonyfur?". he aske dhis blood red eyes twinkling with good natured humor again. he flicked his red tail and smiled, they had lost sunstrike but gained a lovely warrior with Amberwing joining the clan. hopefully the dogs would join as well.

"sure."smiled the fae. Ebony nuzzled her mate and turned to spot Rainpup. She saw her and grinned. The fae turned back to her mate.

Direstar cast his glance over, his gaze fell on Pinedusk, he flicked his ears at his son wanting to talk to him. he decided then that Pinedusk would mentor Obsidianpup. his heart fell a little as he realised he wanted to make otterpup an apprentice but couldnt. he wondered who he might have given him to. his thoughts turned to Stoatblaze, he was a strong and capable warrior who might have been able to temper his sons tempermant with wisdom.

Obsidianpup ran out of the den. She looked for some one. "Where is Aunt Mosseybreeze? Where is she!"

EbonyFur tilted her head as the pup approached. "Dunno."said the Fae. She looked to the pup. Her mind on the pups.

Snowpup was put down on the ground. Hearing Direstar's words,she nodded and dashed away. She landed into her mother's fur. Curling up in it. Inviting its warm and comfortable heat. She whimpered. But it slowed to nothing as she slept.

Seeing her dad flick,e deer ears at her,Fenrshade growled and snorted. Then stalked over as Amberwing and Shadowstorm with Keaflight were sent for a patrol. She laid down beside her father. She put one paw over the other. And sank her claws into the ground. She grumbled. "Do you wish right now you could have slashed his nose and taught him a lesson?" She snorted,but didn't turn to her father.

"Where is aunt Mossey! She could be dead! Dosen't any one care! If no one finds mossey what will I do!" The pup was scared where was her aunt.
