Jadefeather watched as Bluepaw ran off and frowned. I hope he's not going to attack StormClan by himself, she thought a little worried. Heatherstar was taking a while. "What's going on in there?" She mumbled allowed and wondered if something had gone wrong. She wanted to go in but loyalty to her leader made her stay outside of the camp. Heather would tell them to come in when she was ready but Jade's tail twitched impatiently.

Raggedfur trailed into camp long after the rest of his clanmates, having taken his time as he picked his way across the Sunclan territory. He instantly tensed and bristled at the prospect of being around so many unfamliar wolves, and Raggedfur forced his fur to lie flat. Impatient, Raggedfur found a solitary spot near the entrance of camp, uninterested in all thd chatter sweeping around him. He was ready to fight.

Scarletpup watched with big eyes as a group of wolves she didn't know (WindClan) sauntered towards SunClan's camp. Turning to Tigerpaw, she yipped, "What are those wolves doing here? They smell of grass - it's weird." Turning back to look at the group, she noticed a couple go in and she flattened her ears warily. "Hey! What are you doing here? Who ARE you?" She asked and padded over to the group of grass smelling wolves (Raggedfur, Brokenglare and Jadefeather).

Duskfang arrived after the others, padding over to the group but not joining them in their flouncy conversations. Sitting down a little apart from his Clan mates he hunched his shoulders and rapped his tail around himself, as if trying to make himself as small as possible so that others would not notice him and this not try to engage him in conversation. Spying a pup wandering over he snorted and looked away, hoping that she would ignore him. She was a bit too inquisitive for her own good in his eyes.

Soon many wolves smelling of WindClan filed into SunClan camp. Thistlepaw was, at first, alarmed, before he realized their true intentions. An attack on StormClan was slightly unexpected, for he was not expecting the two Clans to attack another when he wasn't really sure what they did wrong. Many wolves milled about now, to and fro, as they waited for Direstar to give the word to move out.

Spottedheart arrived at the Sunclan camp, carrying some herbs in her jaws. She looked around, all the many smells confusing her. "Wow, Sunclan is a lot different then Windclan." She thought, gazing around the camp. The She-wolf felt cramped in the cave, even if it was a fairly big area. "I miss the sky." Spottedheart set down her herbs and looked for someone to talk too. Unfortunately, she couldn't recognize anyone. "Wait, I think that's Thistlepaw over there." The She-wolf thought she recognized him from when those rogues attacked a while back. Padding over to him, she dipped her head in greeting. "Hello...It's Thistlepaw, right?" She asked in a friendly manner.

As Thistlepaw was watching the camp he noticed a Medicine Wolf walking through the entrance and into the cave. He watched as she put down her plants and they made eye contact. The apprentice was surprised when the medicine wolf came towards him and spoke to him. He figured she would have better things to do in preparation of the battle. "Hello. Yes I'm Thistlepaw, and you're.. Spottedheart?" he responded, mimicking her nod. Thistlepaw recalled her at the battle that WindClan had when Isenfire died, though knew he had never spoken to her before. "Is there any way I could help you prepare?" he asked.

Gentleheart was a little alarmed at all of the wolves by the camp entrance. But seeing that a lot of people knew them and they seemed friendly. She turned to Ebonyfur " i have come to this camp to join, do you mind if i leave to speak with Direstar. she wasnt really a part of the clan yet so she thought it was best to ask so that it didnt make it seem like she thought she could go anywhere she pleased.

The She-wolf smiled. "Actually, it's Spottedheart." She replied. She gazed at him thoughtfully as he asked if she needed any help. "Yes, do you know where Brackenspirit's den is?" She inquired. "I don't want these herbs to get damaged before the battle!" Spottedheart gestured to the herbs at her paws.

Direstar looked up from his coversation with bullet, mulling over his thoughts his ears perked and he called "Fernshade, Stoatblaze, Shadowstorm, Tigerpaw, Pinedusk mosseybreeze thistlepaw and gentleheart. you will come with us on this battle," heallowd himself a wink at gentleheart. He hadnoticed that fawnpaw had shown some skill with herbs and said "fawnpaw, go find Brackenspirit, tell him thatyou are his apprentice now and prepare for battle". he flicked his tail then announced "ripplestone, you will stay in campw ith the others and keep a close eye out. Stormclan might send a patrol around to try and take ove rour camp" he was merely taking precautions but he had a hunch that stormclan was more wily than they seemed.

"Oh, I apologize. And sure, follow me." Thistlepaw stood and flicked his tail, signifying that she should follow. Padding deeper into the cave system, the apprentice let the Medicine wolf to the den of Brackenspirit, his brother. Sitting down at the entrance he turned to look at her with his pale yellow eyes. "Do you need anything else?" he asked her. "Are you bringing all of these herbs to the battle?" he asked, his eyes widening as he looked at the wide array of plants laid down in the den. Hearing his name called for the battle he tensed slightly. Never before had he fought against another Clan, only with them. "Do you know why we're attacking StormClan?" he asked the Medicine Wolf softly, looking at her.

Tigerpaw grinned at scarletpup and nuzzled her saying "no only every nwo and then its dangerous at a gathering" she looked up seeing a influx of windclanners and felt her pelt bristle. she stood and gave a low prickly growl. she was alot like her father oakthorn and was the spitting image of him. her yellow eyes glittred before she realised their intentions. she gave a little bounce of joy as she heard that she was going to join in on the battle.

Gentleheart was a little surprise when she heard Direstar announce that she would be joining the battle. she had just came to this clan but she would protect it until her last breath. these wolves were kind to her even when they didnt know her that well, Yep, she thought, this is definitely her home. she would always in her heart like Thunderclan but this was her home and she would fight to protect it.

Fernshade glanced up at the sight of many wolves. She swallowed the lump in her throat. "So,were allied with Windclan." Fernshade flicked her tail. She watched the crowd. And flicked her tail. She glanced at her brother,Thistlepaw. "Good luck." She nudged her brother. But was sad he was still an apprentice. Fern blinked and sat down.

Barkstripe waited at the entrance. Wanting the battle to end soon. He sighed and flicked his tail. He stared at the ground. Bored,Barkstriped flicked his ears.

Swiftstreak got up stepping froward as he heard a growl from one of the sunclan wolves. The male ignored it as he waited for them to assemble he's cold blue battle stare swayed back and forth the clearing as he waited for Dire and he's clan. He ear twitched Windclan was a lot stronger and he agreed with what. Raggedfur said earlier Windclan could hold their own anytime of day at the pittyful stormclan.

The tiny white pup mewled as she paddled her paws against her mother belly determined to get every last drop of milk. her white pelt mingled in well with her brother ghostpup.s fur. she guzzled down the milk hungrily, her white fur all over the placeand ver fluffly.

Fernshade then turned towards the nursery. She crawled in. And blinked at Ebonyfur. "Are you ok? You look a little stressed. Want some fresh-kill?"

Ghostpup yawned happily. He leaned against his sister and tried to push her out of the way to get his share of the milk. Their pelts blended to gether in a fluff of white.

Aurorapup squealed in indignation as herbrother shoved her out of the way. she turned her head and with a strong push of her small domed head pushedhim back. more in a Im here too! way. she was kind and shy as well as gracefulfor a pup.

Spottedheart entered the den after Thistlepaw, carrying the herbs. Setting them down, she glanced at the apprentice. "Yea, I'm bringing these herbs. I wish I had an Ivy leaf to carry them all, but...I'm kinda low on other supplies." The She-wolf didn't want to mention that Raggedfur, in his rage, had destroyed her other supplies. She huffed in amusement, as Thistlepaw asked her why they were having the battle. "Because Warriors are always battle hungry!" She snorted, still in disgust. "I'm glad I won't be fighting."

Hearing Direstar's commanding voice sound out behind her, Heatherstar scrambled around to face the other leader, a friendly smile on her muzzle. "Direstar! I apologise, I did not see you there." She explained warmly, trying to 'lighten the mood' as it were. Listening to the names of the chosen SunClan wolves, she noticed a few familiar names pop up. "I am sorry for not fore warning you of our arrival, but as you know, I thought that the matter at hand should be sorted out as quickly as physically possible. I hope we were not disturbing anything?"

Fawnpaw's ears shot up as Direstar told her that she was Brackenspirit's new apprentice. She felt hot under her pelt before she nodded and turned back into the Medicine Den. She noticed that Thistlepaw and the WindClan Medicine Wolf, Spottedheart, were all ready in there. She nodded her head to them and eyed the herbs that Spottedheart had brought in. "Hi, you must be Spottedheart," she said with a small grin, nosing the plants softly. She gingerly stepped around them to get into their own storage and started gathering up cobwebs, comfrey root, dock leaves, and other supplies they would need.

Thistlepaw nodded, moving his gaze to the entrance of the SunClan den. He wondered if all the Medicine Wolves were as against war as Spottedheart seemed to be. Maybe the gruesome wounds she had to take care of made her be against it, or perhaps it was her nature since she was a pup. The apprentice didn't like war between Clans as much as many of his brethren did, but he knew that it was a requirement if he would be protecting his family. Hearing the news of his brother had prevented him from doing much the past few days. He wondered why Sunstrike had made the decisions he did, and recalled Direstar's anger poignantly.

As he became lost in thought, the sound of pawsteps approaching made him pick his head and gaze up from looking at the cave floor. Fawnpaw was coming towards them. Thistlepaw recalled Direstar's announcement that he had heard only a few moments before. "Congratulations, Fawnpaw," he said to her warmly, looking at her with pale yellow eyes. The girl was kind and caring, and Thistlepaw knew she would make an excellent Medicine Wolf and would probably work well alongside Brackenspirit.

Fawnpaw returned from the storage until with her marrow full and slightly uncomfortable and a hobbling on three paws, her fourth covered in silky cobwebs. She set the leaves and roots next to Spottedheart's supplies and attempted to get the cobwebs off of her foot. It was difficult as the threads were sticky to everything but a spider. With a frustrated huff, the fae smiled at Thistlepaw's word. "Thanks," she said just as warmly.

Ghostpup let his sister drink and stopped pushing her over. He leaned into her and gave another big yawn. He tried to stay awake but couldn't make it and fell sound asleep with his head buried in his sister's fluffy fur.
