Keaflight and Thunderpaw training lets go!!

Welcome Thunderpaw to your new training! Since Keaflight is picky about training you are gonna start right from the beginning, beware she has plenty of ideas on how to get you just as fit and fighting as anyonne else! Below training sheet credited to the wonderful Magmafeather! anyone may join in, though if you are from another clan prepare for a tail whoopin!

Keaflight walked up to the bottom of the waterfall and sat down, her yellow eyes gazed around as she waited for her apprentice. hope fluttered in her chest, she remembered catching a deer here with him and shadowstorm. she thought she might start with him climbing trees to get stronger in the limbs he had.

Thunderpaw padded in much later, panting from the "run". He hadn't exactly run but to him it was tiring. He looked up at her and resisted the urge to flop down and rest. For some reason he didn't think that would be such a good idea around Keaflight. He did however sit and wait.

She allowed him to rest for a few moments before she said "sunclan wolves have strong legs because of the slopes they run up and down, we also have tough pads, think about these in battle, change the terrain to one that suits you and use your stronger paws against them" she stretched popping out her spine a little then said "now the best way to get better is to actually do it. come attack me"

Thunderpaw watched the dark female stand and stretch as she explained a few things he knew about Sunclan. He nodded slowly, understanding this. He already knew but reviews were good. He held in a slight yawn, not wanting to be rude when she told him to attack her. Thunderpaw looked around as if not believing, it wasn't as if he could cause much damage. The young male nodded and looked at how the female was standing. In less then a few seconds he took in her stance and her expression. He noticed how tense her muscles were and if anything was slightly off balance. After months of looking around quietly and observing other wolves he had learned quite a bit. Thunderpaw sighed inwardly and nodded, his dark eyes narrowing slightly. He noticed the river behind her, and took that into note, before giving a quick smirk.

Thunderpaw didn't exactly race forward he dashed forward using his moment of being off balance in his aide. He fell to his right side and slipped, through the rather soft ground, slipping between her paws. He smiled and flipped onto his other side, stretching his front paw out to hook onto her back leg as he slipped slightly into the river.

she slipped onto her side and rolled standing she attacked with a quick slap to his shoulder then ducked shoving her head at his single font leg. "always assume they will go for your weakness most will. Use that against them" she knew of his affection for tigerpaw. She could also be used against him.

Thunderpaw made it out, but Keaflight turned quickly standing and sending a slap to his shoulder with a head butt to his front leg. Thunderpaw fell forward slightly, his rear still up, as he his paw had slipped under him. He looked up at her as he stood up again and nodded. He processed this and stood at a slightly strange angle, putting his balance on his hind legs. He nodded and panted slightly wondering if he should try again.

She nodded as she noted him change. she was going to focus more on fighting. she flicked her ears and said "come at me again, harder this time. im about to kill tigerpaw! what are you going to do?". her eyes glittered.

Thunderpaw nodded, agreeing to come faster and harder. Oh he would. He was concentrating on what to do next, when Keaflight uttered the words. At that moment, Thunder glared at the dark female wolf and menacing and deep growl coming from the usually bored looking apprentice. Without thinking or giving a thought he rushed at Keaflight, in such a fluid motion it was as if he was never missing his front leg. Less than a foot away from the fae he jumped forward sailing over her head and aiming for her back, his eyes an angry glare and something rather frightening.

She grunted as she felt his body on her back, she reared and slammed her back with him on it into a tree. her ears pinned back as she grinned. this was what he could do, he needed to be able to do this with every battle. act as if he was protecting the one who was dear to hsi heart. she began shaking vicciously.

Thunderpaw knew what he was doing, but truly imagining something happening to Tigerpaw fueled the anger that was pumping throughout him. He growled and saw her crashing into the tree coming, he only grabbed on tighter and incredible amount of energy taken as he attempted to balance. Thunderpaw couldn't help but let a small tiny smile escape as she began to shake viciously, he rolled off landing in a roll so as not to fall. He was to excited to stop now, he rolled beneath her and pushed up on the bottom of the dark females belly. He was still an apprentice, but his back legs were very strong and he was a large apprentice already. He pushed up attempting to send her flying just a bit.

She grunted as he sent her flying into a tree, turning that into her advantage she leapt easily from the tree aiming to land with her paws on his head. her own eyes were hard and cold yet glittering with enjoyment. the female warrior loved battle she lived for the excitement.

Thunderpaw smiled as he was able to lift her and sent her against the tree. He rolled over and saw her easily bounce back. With only a seconds moment to react he rushed forward but he still felt her body crash into his own as he fell over. Thunderpaw 'oomphed' slightly as he was sent sprawling onto the moist ground.

She pushed him down with her strength and said "in battle think of tigerpaw being hurt and nothing will be able to stop you. when i threatened Tigerpaw you acted as if you had all four legs. FIghting is mental and physical work. again"

Thunderpaw felt her push him down and lied there untiol she was off. He stood up, his tongue flopping out as he panted and listened. He nodded and watched her carefully, his body tensed and still ready for more. His eyes brightened up slightly as she said 'again. He smiled and looked at their surroundings. A few trees, the river... He narrowed his eyes and nodded. The ground was moist at their paws, easy for slipping and sliding. He rushed forward one way, only to turn readily the other way, faking to hit one side as he rushed to the other and barrled into her, with an incredible amount of force.

She moved to attack his feint then fell down into the sodden earth as he slammed into her. her shoulder now aching, she found him on her, she snaked her head up to bite where his missing leg was and kick out with her back feet at his belly at the same time. she aimed to rake her sharp black claws down his belly to his hips.

Thunderpaw smiled as his feint worked upon the older warrior. Her muzzel came up to where his missing leg would have been and for a moment to avoid her bite which would close around nothing he jumped back, her legs as they attempted to rake his belly sending toppling to the side as he remembered, there was no leg there. He scowled at his foolishness and rolled to the side. His belly was slightly sore, but he wasn't going to let slight slow him down. He rushed forward again, hoping she'd take a while to get up and skim around her as she did so, to get her other side .

Keaflight scrambled up onto her paws and leapt at him. aiming to slide under him and take out his back legs. she was training him in a radical new way, she barked "remember, fight like tigerpaws going to die if you dont".

Thunderpaw's eyes hardened, as she leapt at him. He leapt over her, aiming for her side rather than behind her, rolling over as he did. It was the one way he knew he could land, though dirty it was effective. He panted not rejoicing in the move but rather thinking of what to do next. She was trianing him hard, and his breath was short, but he refused to give up first. Thunderpaw turned bowing , his chest upon the floor to keep his balance as he kicked out at her with his back legs.
