"The Dream"

It seemed like only moments, but it could have been hours since he had passed out. Waking up, Shadestar's head felt sore, perhaps where he hit it? He felt groggy as well. Wondering what even happened, he stood up shakily, putting one foot on the rock one by one and standing up. What met his eyes scared him to his core.

The wolves were all collapsed as if they were dead. Every single wolf. What could have even caused this? But that wasn't what alarmed him the most. All the trees, all the foliage, everything.... Was burnt to ash. Gone, like that. He couldn't have been out that long could he? Stepping down from the rock, he trotted to the edge of the clearing. Something didn't feel right here, as though it was a dream, though it felt real enough certainly. It was just something didn't fit right in his mind. Perhaps he was just attempting to cope with what happened. All of his home, everyones home, gone in the course of a second. What the heck was going on? Confused, he ran back to the rock and stood there, his golden gaze protectively watching the rest of the collapsed wolves, especially the ShadowClan ones. They would have to come together, whether they wanted to or not.

Skypup perked her ears up at Apachepaw's words. It made sense, not really, nothing did right now, but at the same time it did. It did all seem like a dream. Maybe even another world. Like, an alternate universe of some sort. The forest seemed to have been burnt down, but there was no traces that a fire had come through. Everything else was fine, no wolf was harmed, "It has to be unreal," she growled to herself.

Magmapup glimpsed the Dark Shape of Shadestar by the gorge, and called out to him, asking him to come back.

The male leader saw a pup shouting out to him, to return. Why would he want to? Shadestar shook his head left and right and remained right where he was.

Silverpup looked at Lilystar wondering what the commotion was. She looked around at the wolves confused.

Magmapup glared at Shadestar in frustration before returning his attention to the rest of the wolves.

The female woke quietly up from her nap. There was not alot of activity for her. She stood shook off the dust on her and raced up to a hill behind the Riverclan tree. She howled and raced down the hill, heading to the RiverClan territory.

Magmapup wondered why Shadestar didn't want to come back. Didn't he have a clan to lead?

Magmapup gathered by Lilystar with the rest of the riverclan wolves, waiting for a solution to this odd situation to be formed.

Lilystar sighed once again. "RiverClan, we must not worry about their loss, but learn from it." Her voice echoed throughout this whole gorge. "So we shall go back to the Fourtrees when everyone is gathered." She added on.

Magmapup nodded and waited for Lilystar to lead them to fourtrees. He then called out to Shadestar one last time, to see if he would change his mind and return.

Jaystreak walked toward the crowd of wolves near the Gorge. She looked and noticed one of the leaders had jumped in. She was very confused.

"Wait. Before we head over, I want to see if he's still there." She said, not bothering explaining who 'he' was, as they all should know who she was talking about. Lilystar looked over the ledge with her paws placed cautiously over the ledge, hoping that she wouldn't fall. Leaning her weight towards the front of her body so she can see the beyond, the leader called- "Shadestar!!" As she got no reply, the female sighed and began to walk back; until the ledge her front paws were on and where the most of her weight distributed was starting to crack and lose it's durability.

Several heartbeats later, the female found the front of her boy slowly sinking, until the rocks finally gave out, and sent Lilystar tumbling over to ledge, falling into the unknown. As she fell, the female gave out a shriek, but soon, all was silent from the RiverClan leader.

Did Lilystar just fall over the ledge. 'Oh my..' Blackpup thouht, suddenly worried. The tense air sparkled with the silence of outrageous and unenlightened shock. The pup sat down, taking that moment to study the faces of the other canids, for the interest to see just how surprised they were.

Magmapup stared in disbelief as Lilystar fell over the ledge into the gorge. "No!!!" He yelled. All common sense became absent from him as he ran around the gorge, heading to the far shore where Shadestar had come out. He had to save Lilystar.

Tallpup watched blankly as the horrific events played out in rapid sucession. First the Shadowclan leader vanished over the edge of the gorge -- then Lilystar plunged after him. Eyes wide and confused, Tallpup took a step back, staring at Rosepaw in horror. He found himself instinctively searching the clearing for Stonestar -- would he be so mad to sacrifice his life as well? Confused and shaken to his core, Tallpup pressed his belly to the ground and waited.

Silktuft had walked to the river to drink some water. She bent her neck down and drank some of the water but heard other wolves. Most of them was from the RiverClan. She raced to them and stood shakely beside a unknown wolf to her. (Sliverpup) She was too late. Lilystar was pulled down over the edge. The alpha shriek as she fell unto the unknown area below. It had been a couple minutes since the alpha spoke.

"Alpha," she said quietly to herself. Tears swelled up in her eyes but she tried to hold them back. If the wolves started to go down there, she would follow. But even if they didn't she would go. Slowly, she padded her long legs down the edge of the cliff her alphaess had fallen down from, making sure that she was watching her step.
