Old RiverClan Camp

A camp is a site where a Clan makes its permanent home. It is where the wolves sleep, meet, bring fresh-kill,get treated for injuries or illness, receive orders, and make reports to the Clan leader or deputy. Some wolves, such as queens, kits and elders stay in the camp, while the warriors, deputy and leader patrol the territory and hunt. Each Clan has one camp.

Despite the fact that RiverClan and ShadowClan had combined, both camps are still used frequently by each Clan.

Fangpaw chuckled then shrugged. "Well, its not as easy as you would think." He replied before shifting positions careful not to place any weight on his shoulder. But that failed badly. Cursing mentally, the apprentice then stumbled and was left with his belly facing up. "Well that failed." Chuckling, Fangpaw then tried to roll back but failed once again.

Ravenpaw giggled then stood pulling him up gently by the paw she sat down and laughed silently, her midnight blue eyes sparkling with laughter and merriment. she lay down and licked a paw wrinkling her nose at the herby texture she continued on before glancing at him "go on, whats it like? i cant fight at all" she smiled a little embarrasedly.

Fangpaw said a thanks before shaking his pelt lightly and then laying back down underneath the stars. Stealing a glance to the ShadowClan apprentice, the male chuckled seeing her embarrassed smile. "Fighting? Well its just the adrenaline that pumps through your veins when I fight. But I bet its different for each wolf." Fangpaw explained. The apprentice himself then looked upon the stars. "How about being a Med wolf apprentice?" He inquired.

she shrugged "there are so many different herbs i have to remember, and i also have to learn fighting but all i end up doing is flailing" she licked her black nose iwth her pink tongue and smiled. her own scent was slightly herby but slightly earthy as well. twitching her tail she said "and when you have been to the mooonstone you have a special connection with starclan..." her eyes glittered with longing.

The apprentice listened intently, before sighing once at the end. "You'll learn how to fight. If I wasn't injured then I would have taught you." He explained calmly to the ShadowClan apprentice. Fangpaw then watched her expression fade from a sad to a longing look, which made him roll his eyes. "Why don't you go then?" Of course, Fangpaw didn't know how it worked seeing as both their worlds were so much different from each other.

"i cant i have to wait for lightdawn to take me" she smiled a little and said "i bet you would have taught me well fangpaw" her midnight blue eyes glittered with slight amusement. she turned her head and licked her shoulder, eyeing up his wound on his face she leaned over and licked it gently. cleaning out all of the dirt in it.

Fangpaw nodded once again, then winced as the medicine wolf apprentice licked his gash. It stung, so he reluctantly pulled away. "Sorry. It stings." He apologized, seeing if Ravenpaw got a wrong message then he would be all alone again. And he appreciated the company. A lot. "Maybe at the next gathering. And who knows, maybe by then you would have been to the MoonStone." Fangpaw reassured her. The RiverClan apprentice himself couldn't imagine the anxiety that she was going through now.

Ravenpaw smiled at Fangpaw and said "if you are gonna be awarrior you are going to have to get used to pain arent ya" she nodded "i am a little nervous but i really cant wait" she smiled at her new friend "yeah" her eyes sparkled. yawning a little she rested her head down and began to close her eyes. "i bet you were really brave in the dog fight, i wouldnt have been able to fend of a single dog"

Fangpaw watched Ravenpaw closely, to see that she might be tired. "You tired? If you want you can go sleep in the Apprentices den. I'm the only one in there that can move." He explained. Ripplepaw was all limp and couldn;t move, and her lover, Stoatpaw was watching over her. Which left him all alone in the dens. Plus, the medicine den was crowded as is, so maybe it might be good for the apprentice to get some sleep.

She lifted her head and smiled standing up she said "yes please, i have treked over from shadowclan to windclan camp to riverclan camp im quite tired" she gave a yawn then said "however your company is rather pleasurable" she chuckled then paused "um what one is the apprentice den" she gave a nervous glance at magmafeather. her midnight blue eyes glittered a little worriedly.

Getting up with a yawn, the apprentice lead the way, limping and not trying to put weight on the shoulder. Entering the now familiar den, the apprentice laid down on his little bed then pointed out the other two with his muzzle. "The one on the left is Ripplepaw's and the one beside me is Stoatpaw's. I don't think the both of them mind if you take one of theirs for the night. You know, since you helped them." Not going into detail on how she helped since it was obvious, Fangpaw got himself all comfy though his eyes were open; waiting for Ravenpaw to choose a bedding.

Ravenpaw padded in and nodded, her ears flicking listening. she chose the one beside fangpaw and curled up in it. her earthy herby scent wafting around her. she yawned and said "oh well, hopefully tomorrow silverheart will be better so i can go back home" she flicked her ears "hopefully they wont worry about me" she rested her head down and flicked her tail.

A cold breeze past the den, which left Fangpaw shivering. This wasn't fun. He was cold and in pain. So realizing that Ravenpaw took the bed beside him, the apprentice shuffled over so that their pelts were practically brushing against each other. "Its a bit chilly in here and I think the dogs tear out my winter layer of fur." He explained. Taking a deep breath and inhaling, all he could scent was the earthy scent of her pelt, and the herbs. Somehow it calmed him. Fangpaw hadn't been this calm since when he was a pup. It felt nice.

Ravenpaw turned and blinked a little shocked at fangpaw. shugging she shuffled over towards him as well. like a little warm heater she yawned and closed her eyes. they were just friends it wasnt like this was going to do anything to anyone. she ended up fallin asleep with a smile on her face.

Concentrating on the Shadowclan's apprentice's breathing, Fangpaw realized that it had become more and more even, and deeper too. So, letting the aroma of earth and herbs surround him, Fangpaw fell asleep to all of that. Once again, it felt nice to sleep with someone beside you in the den, as it had been a while since it had last happened.

Silentpaw got up to his paws. "Well i'll leave if one of you promise to escort her back." Silentpaw said calmly. He turned around and padded towards the entrance. Before he left he smelt like somthing was wrong...

Ripplepaw opened her eyes in the morning and yawned. she noticed the prey near her mouth and gobbled it up hungrily. flicking her tail she hauled herself up into a lying upright position. her head held fast by the reeds that ravenpaw had bound around her neck. she watched stoatpaw sleep with a intense gaze in ehr eyes.

Ravenpaw blinked her midnight blue eyes glittering, she turned her head and watched fangpaw with a gentle look in her caring eyes. standing she nosed through his fur inspecting his wounds. her tail flicked before she turned and padded into the medicine den, she checked ripplepaws wounds and applied some more marigold and goldenrod poultices to ripplepaws wounds. padding over to silverheart she began lapping the old poultice off inspecting the wounds with a practised eye. she nodded and reapplied the poultice saying "no infection has set in you will be fine" ravenpaw then padded over to snowstorm inspecting his wounds and adding a little goldenrod to the worst one on his side. stoatpaws wounds were still fine, ravenpaw turned and regarded magmafeather, she still hadnt checked his wounds. Flicking her ears back she gulped before padding over to Graystar saying "thank you for having me, i have done the best i can for your wolves, may starclan guide you" she paused then said "may i please have an escort back to shadowclan land?" she dipped her head respectfully.

Fangpaw heard a shuffle beside him, and flicked his ears. No point in sleeping now. Getting up just as Ravenpaw was making her way out, the apprentice stretched and careful not to hurt his wound. Shaking his fur, Fangpaw padded out to realize that Ravenpaw was leaving. Somewhere in his heart, it sank. Though shrugging out of it, the male padded over towards them. "I guess I can do it, seeing as Magmafeather is well, giving death glares." He spoke up towards the clan leader and at Ravenpaw.

Ravenpaw dipped her head at fangpaw and said "thank you for your hospitality Graystar" she smiled gently then turned and began padding out of camp. her herb bag secured around her neck, she waved her tail for fangpaw to hurry up before she vanished out of the entrance to the camp and headed towards the borders

The apprentice dipped his head at Graystar before trotting slowly after the ShadowClan wolf. Of course, he had to take his time seeing as his wound could reopen any minute now, though at all times he had kept the fleeing tail of Ravenpaw in his sight.

-Border That I just knew about-

Fangpaw was back, and walked over to the medicine den seeing Graystar. Sighing once, the apprentice then looked to see if anyone had even touched the food he brought in earlier, and realized that no one did. Letting out a small scowl, Fangpaw exited out and then went over to the fresh kill pile to get himself another fish, and started to eat it.

Creekpup bounced out of the nursery for the first time, deep amber eyes glowing with excitement. He glanced around the clearing, his head cocked to the side in curiosity. This wasn't at all what he was expecting- it was better! He trotted out confidently to the center of the camp's clearing, his dark gray pelt still light and fluffy. He sat down, his ears pricked, looking around for something to do.
