Old RiverClan Camp

Graystar looked as Fangclaw, Silverheart, and Stormstorm had agreed to come find a new camp, out of the previous RiverClan wolves; her golden eyes looking at Foxheart as she noticed the medicine wolf. "Hi Foxheart, and I think it would be alright if you mentored Ravenpaw." Graystar said, glancing at Shadestar; for some reason his expression looked pained, though soon he looked emotionless like he usually did. Perhaps it had something to do with Lightdawn? The gray wolf looked back at Fangpaw as she heard the apprentice. "I think we should go now; is everyone who wants to come ready to head out on our adventure of some sort?" She asked, looking around the camp.

Graystar looked at Fangpaw and nodded as the apprentice stated he was ready to go out to locate a new camp. She watched as most of the others left, glancing back at her old apprentice Snowstorm before trotting to the edge of the camp. Graystar remembered that as an apprentice and warrior she liked exploring RiverClan's territory; she didn't remember finding any suitable camps though. "There could be more near the ShadowClan border." The gray wolf murmured to herself; she hadn't explored near there quite as often. The wolf walked after the others, not knowing how the new camp would look.

Graystar walked up to the camp entrance, glancing inside. RiverClan's camp, though covered in snow, looked much the same as it had before StormClan was formed. The co-leader had been out in the territory to go hunting, though she wanted to see if there were any rats here first. Her golden eyes glanced up as she noticed Fangclaw and Sparrowpaw, and she nodded to the two, her gray pelt bristling as she caught the scent of another canid. It wasn't another wolf, and didn't smell like a coyote, so she wondered if it were one of the Twolegpets that had perhaps gotten lost; she wouldn't have expected one to come in Leafbare. The wolf padded forward, following the dog's scent into one of the dens. "Hello?" She said, looking into the den to see if the house dog was in there.

Graystar looked as the dog had first moved further into the den, before she had then come over to where the wolf was. The dog introduced herself as Clover, saying that she didn't like it on the 'streets'. Graystar wondered if a street was a Thunderpath. She nodded as Clover said how she liked it out in the forest better. "Hello Clover. This is StormClan," The she-wolf nodded in the direction of the camp to show what she meant by StormClan, her golden eyes glancing back at the dog. "Is there anything that brings you to StormClan territory?" Though it was true that Clover had intruded into Clan territory, the dog was rather small and might not have known that this was a Clan.

Graystar glanced at the dog and nodded as she described the Twolegplace where she came from. "I'm sorry to hear about what it's like at the Twolegplace." The gray-furred wolf responded. She wondered if she should offer this dog a place in the Clan; surely Shadestar wouldn't like that, however? Graystar supposed that while Shadestar would probably not allow this dog into StormClan, there was a little bit of a possibility he might. "If you would like, you could come back to StormClan's camp. However, most wolves are larger than you, and may not be welcoming. If you want to join StormClan it will not be easy. You may, if you'd want, visit, to see if living in the forest is truly what you'd want."

Graystar nodded as Clover said she was willing to work hard; the story of Scourge, however, surprised her. She didn't expect one not of a Clan to have heard of that story, perhaps Clover did know some things about being in a Clan. The dog had also said how she was alright at hunting, though she probably would need to be trained in some other ways. "Alright, Clover, I can show you where the camp is." Graystar said, stepping towards the direction of the camp entrance. "My name is Graystar, I'm the co-leader of StormClan; Shadestar is the name of the other leader. To join, he will need to agree also." The gray-furred wolf said. "We can go now if you would like." She added to Clover; she wondered what Fangclaw and Sparrowpaw must be thinking of the dog, as the two were also in this camp.
