The River

Where it marks the border of Riverclan, and where most of our clanmates to come and hunt fishes during the spring. The stepping stones are only reachable in the Late Spring and Early Summer.

Thunderpaw sniffed the air a few times. Strange, he thought, I smell Mistheart. Just yawning he began to sniff out a rabbit and he began stalking it. Mistheart had jumped out of the bushes and he wasn't in the least bit scared, but the rabbit was. Snorting he growled, "You scares away my kill. Or at least would've been... Its almost leaf-fall isn't it? All the rabbits are pretty scrawny."

Thunder grumbled as Mistheart had ignored his question. Rolling his eyes get got to his paws and turned, his fur bristling. He would be first there this time whether Mistheart liked it or not. Growling to himself he padded to the Burnt Sycamore.

The Two-leg had tracked the wolf ever since he had laid eyes on it. The white wolf was an adolescent, female, white. She appeared to be on a mission; going directly from her origin and to the river. The Two-leg watched with interest as the female sniffed around the edge of the water until finding a specific plant, picking it before releasing it into the current. He was about to tranquilize her when the wolf's head shot upward in his direction. Ducking behind the tree, the man breathed heavily, closing his eyes. Wolves were powerful, even when they were young, so if his missed this shot he would be in trouble. Waiting a couple moments, he peeked his head out from the other side of the tree, aimed, and fired. The horsetail remained, floating downstream, as the female wolf's body was slung over his shoulder and as he walked away to an unknown direction.

Lunalight appeared quite quickly on the place. "Bluepaw? Reddust?" she shouted but there was unanswered. The brown fae stopped. She lifted her muzzle and carefully sniffed the air. Luna's eyes opened wide as her heart began pounding fast. "Two-legs..." she thought. "No, No. No.." The warrior got near the coast and sniffed around. She caught the scent of Swiftpaw the blind apprentice and ofcourse the strong scent of humans. The scent was strong so whatever happened it was not far ago. The she-wolf decided to check the bridge, before meeting Whitestorm again.

~Twolegs Bridge~

As she rested in the shade her senses were tickled and she lifted her head. Rotating her head and swiveling her ears. There was nothing there, so she settled back down. Just as she was about to doze off once again a sharp pain stung her thigh. Jumping up she frantically tried running. Though her body became numb and her vision became dull. All she remembered was hitting the ground and her eyes shutting slowly.

Angelfeather curled into a ball the moment she got to the river. She lay near the riverbed further upstream. Her thoughts wandered off to her memories. The memories of who's blood stained her paws each moon. Who's cries she heard those days. "Come on Angie, your turning waaaay too soft to hurt someone now. You gotta harden up."she growled to herself.

She gave him a look that told him that he had better sit still or she would nip him on the ear, she lowered her head and began by licking his chest, neatly organising the fur it was soon neat and straight, she moved around to his shoulder and after moistening her nose she continued her intense grooming. Her project turn scruffy into a hottie was working, she enjoyed giving interesting names to her private projects. She worked around him soon a soft humming coming out of her throat as she worked merrily. The sun had significantly moved in the sky when she was finished "done! take a look" she gestured with a tilt of her muzzle toward the river

She smiled happily "thank goodness that someone appreciates my fashion sense!" she flicked her thick tail enjoying the warm sun on her white features. Her brown eyes glittered and she froze, slipping into the water with nary a ripple she waited and as a large fat fish swam by she gracefully flicked it up onto the river bank leaping out she killed it with a bite to the head. She sat down and delicately began eating.

Silentwhisper watched Opalwing's every movement as she caught the fish. "I am absolutely useless at fishing." He admitted. He looked down at the fat fish that was now most definitely dead. "Has anyone ever told you that you are an incredibly pretty looking fae?" He asked, setting his gaze back on Opalwing. He wasn't much of a flirter but he felt he had to admit it.

At the sound of his voice she lifted her head and licked her chops, her white trangular ears twitched and she smiled "thank you for the compliment, Not many do but one must try to upkeep their pelt so not all of stormclan is considered to be made of ruffians". She looked quite flattered and she ran her eyes over his pelt "you look scrawny, here put some meat on your bones, noone likes a scrawny brute even if he is well groomed" the light caught her eyes changing the dark brown to a pale brown.
