Windover Moor

Jadefeather looked around. "Which plant are we gathering?" She asked and flicked her tail. She knew very little about herbs but that didn't mean she couldn't help collect them.

Barkstripe shrugged. "Not sure. But o think Borage." Barkstripe blinked and flicked his tail. He sat down,and curled his tail around him.

(I gotta go now. See you later )

Spottedheart nodded. "Yep, Borage are small purple flowers with star-shaped petals." She told them. "There's a patch over there." The She-wolf flicked her tail to a nearby patch of flowers on the moor. She trotted over towards the plants.

(I'M BACK!!)
Barkstripe nodded. He turned and made his way to the patch. He snorted again. But not from the blood. More like the bitter-sweet scent of the herb. He took some of its leaves. He brought them to Spottedheart. Through a bunch of leaves. He spoke. "How's this?"

Spottedheart trotted over and picked a mouth full of Borage leaves. "Yep." She replied to Barkstripe. "These are for Snowflower. But don't pick to many, or they'll never grow back!" Picking enough leaves, Spottedheart trotted back to pile of herbs they had so far. "Let's see, we have Poppy-seeds, Borage, and Sorrel." She thought. "Now I want to find some Marigold and cobwebs." The She-wolf thought gazing around.

Barkstripe nodded,and set the herbs down. He flicked his ears and glanced at Spottedheart. "Anything else you need?" He knew Raggedfur had destroyed most of the herbs.
Bark flicked his ears. But she might not want more help. He shrugged and yawned.

I gotta go back to camp. Bark, I think Heather wants to see you aswell)

Jadefeather nodded and collect a little pile of flowers too making sure she left a bunch left for next time. "I'll take some back to camp and come back. So we don't have as much to carry." She said before picking up a pile of borage and racing back to camp as fast as she could.

-WC Camp-

Looking around, Dawnpaw noticed everyone had gone. 'Oops,' she thought and headed back to camp. She carried the rabbit in her mouth, the scent heavy in her nostrils. She wished she could chomped down on the tasty meat, but the Clan came first.

Spottedheart watched as the others went back to camp. She shrugged. "Oh well, I guess it's just you and me again." She told Bluepaw. Leaning forward, Spottedheart licked him on the cheek. The She-wolf was starting to feel better after the incident this morning. "Come on!" She told him cheerfully. "We need some Marigold and cobwebs next."

Bluepaw blushed a bit, this time now concealing his emotions. He smiled, and followed. Sniffing the air, he began to look. "There's some marigold over there." he paused, thinking, I don't think you can sniff cobwebs that well... "You get the cobwebs, I'll get the marigold, alright?"

Spottedheart nodded. Gazing around, the She-wolf spotted something shiny in the distance. "That might be one." She thought. Spottedheart padded over and found that there were a couple of cobwebs, stuck onto an old log. The Medicine Wolf bent down and carefully picked them up with her mouth. "These will do us good." She thought, trotting back to Bluepaw.

Bluepaw smiled and picked up some of the margold then placed it in a pile. He took some more then turned to Spottedheart. "This is good." He said, with a mouthful of Marigold. He picked up the ones he placed down, and said, "Now, should we take them to camp?"

"Sure." Spottedheart replied. "I think we have enough herbs to last a while." The She-wolf picked up as much of the herbs as she could carry and headed back to camp.

Barkstripe glanced at the medicine wolves. He dipped his head,and went after Jadefeather. His tail swishing in the breeze. And breathing a sigh of relief.
-camp-

Bluepaw nodded, clutching the herbs tightly in his mouth. He smiled. Looked at spottedheart. Then padded off.

The black male ran into the moors. He looked around quickly for a small white flower. "Where is it." The male growled as he scanned the area finding the flower in the near by bush, the male picked as many as he could and headed back to camp.

-WC camp-

Brokenglare padded in. She sat down and waited for Jadefeather to arrive. Would they solve it and save the clan? Or would it fail? Her mind was filled with thoughts now.

Jadefeather padded onto the moors, her head spinning with worry. Coming to sit down facing Brokenglare, Jadefeather gave a faint smile and flicked her grey ear. "So, you say we should try bring the clan back together by reminding them of their duties and loyalties?" Jadefeather asked, trying to remind herself of the plan. It was a good suggestion Brokenglare had made. Jade believed it had a high chance of working.

"Yeah, all warriors know their loyality to the clan, and have an instinct to save it.", Brokenglare answered. "If we can make them remember who they are and what they gotta protect, they might snap out of it. , she continued. "But still, I don't know what to say to remind them about it...", she said in a lower tone. She hoped that Jade knew something to say to remind them, bo way they could let their clan stay like this!

Jadefeather smiled and nodded. "How about... We could ask to take out two hunting patrols and see who can catch the most amount of prey for the clan? But that would involve Heatherstar agreeing...." Jadefetaher trailed off and frowned, annoyed. They couldn't do anything without Heather. "Do you ever think the effects of Direstar's death on Heatherstar's will eventually wear off?" the female asked, concerned.

"Might, might not, but I really hope so, she's scary when insane...", Brokenglare said in a worried tone. She pushed a pebble with her paw around while thinking. "Would playing along while decently trying to ger her back work?", she asked, thinking about what was good and what was bad about her plan. It might take time, but it might draw Heather's attention, and she might understand us better..., she thought. She looked at the pebble, which now was almost covered in dirt. Might, might not...

Jadefeather shrugged. "It's worth a try... Why is StarClan letting this happen?!" she growled angrily as she leapt to her feet and lashed her tail. Her claws were unsheathed and she vented her anger out by ripping up the grass up around her. This is a bad dream, a bad dream...., Jade kept telling herself and closed her eyes taking in a deep breath. "Back to camp? Maybe Heatherstar would've calmed down by now...." Jadefeather remarked and waited for Brokenglare to reply.

Brokenglare looked oddly at Jadefeather as she attacked the grass. "Well, I guess we should check the camp then, she might have calmed.", she said. She turned her head towards camp. How long would Starclan keep this going?, she thought and started walking towards camp in a kind of awkward half-in-mind mode.

~Camp~

Jadefeather was about to follow Brokenglare when she hesitated. "I'll be right there." She called before turning around, her ears perked and muzzle high in the air as she cast around for the scent of prey. Spotting a rabbit nibbling at some grass beside a ridge, Jadefeather gave a faint smile before crouching down into a hunting position. Keeping close to the heather as to try to hide her sillohette from the rabbit, Jadefeather crept silently and swiftly closer to the animal. Coming about two wolf lengths away from the creature, she waggled her haunches and leapt at the rabbit with outstretched paws. Jade felt fur meet her claws and she bit hard down on the rabbit's neck before it had any chance to escape. Picking the dead animal up in her jaws, she gave a swift, satisfied nod and began to make her way back to camp.

-Camp-

Sky blinked out of his revere and stared along the moor with his almond eyes, he swished his sail like black tail and sighed. it was very different here to the loudness of the twolegplace. he wondered if he would ever really be accepted by windclan. he sighed and plonked down his haunches staring at the stars that seemed to watch like minature fires.
