Windover Farm

Windover farm is a farm near the north-west border of the territory. Wolves do not come here very often, due to the large amount of twolegs which live and work at the farm. Cows, horses, dogs and sheep live here among the twolegs.

A barn is in the middle of the farm, which is a safe place to sleep if a member can't get back to Camp. It has an upstairs loft, and has warm hay to sleep on. For an added bonus, there is also mice and rats that live here, which can provide a food source.

You can access Windover Farm through the tunnels.

Direpaw trotted onto the two leg land, his blood red eyes keen and alert. he turned his head to see moonpaw and smiled slightly with relief. he glanced over towards the barn that from what he could tell chickens had been in there. flicking his tail he began sneaking towards it.

Moonpaw followed him quietly, her paws treading lightly. Catching up to him she whispered excitedly. "What if we get caught?" Her voice quivered, and her ears stayed foreward. "Will they hurt us?"

Direpaw replied "i wouldnt let them moonpaw!" he touched his nose to her cheek before sneaking into the barn and scented around for the scent of chicken. following his nose he found a chickens nest in they hay "hey moonpaw, i found some!" he whispered.

"Quick, grab some!" she whispered, suppressing the happiness in her voice. "Before were found." She shifted her paws, hardly standing the suspense. Her nose tingled with unfamiliar smells.

he nodded and grabbed as many as he could. turning he bolted out the door mumbling through his mouthfull of feathers "quick house dogs coming!" he knew that it was bigger than him and moonpaw and he really didnt want moonpaw to be hurt, he dashed out of the barn heading for the opening to the tunnels.

Moonpaw followed him swiftly. Her heart pounding in her mouth as the foul smell of house dogs flooded her nose, she put on a burst of speed to reach Direpaw. "Where to," she panted, loosing her breath.

"t-the tunnels" he gasped "the dogs wont be able to fit down there" he ran ahead and dived down into the familiar tunnels

Moonpaw followed him swiftly, her paws finding the familiar ground of the tunnels. She felt at home down here, and wished she could stay forever in the tunnels.

The white and red apprentice slowly limped up tears falling from her black eyes. it all hurt so much, and she was so so tired. she scented once more the weird scents of Direpaw and Moonpaw. she wrinkled her black nose and limpedslowly into the barn. here perhaps her wound could heal. the one where she had seen tallfeather with skyfeather and her dream had been crushed into dust. the one where the knife had been pulled out and her heart was bleedingonto the earth around her. she limped up into the upper loft and collapsed into the soft forgiving hay

Amberpup arrived, her eyes filled with fear as she ran and collapsed near Okamipaw. "Okamipaw, talk to me, please, why did you run away?" She begged, tears leaked from her eyes. Her friend was upset she could tell. She wasn't sure why, but she had the feeling that it was because of that StormClan wolf or Tallfeather. If it was because of that warrior and the StormClan queen, then she would personally make sure Heatherstar did something to deal with Tallfeather.

Okamipaw said softly in a croaking voice "i love him.... but he loves the stormclan female". her black eyes were dull and depressed. she gently nosed amberpup then closed her eyes. everyone else had mates, Heatherstar had Swiftstreak.... Tall had Sky. she was utterly alone in this world. forever and ever alone.

Amberpaw gently flicked her tail, she was angry about this now. "Tall and that..... demon are both going to the place on no stars!" She snarled to herself, she gently nudged her friend. "You have me, I'm not going anywhere Okamipaw."

Jadepaw ran into the area and followed the two wolves into the barn. "Amberpup? Okamipaw?" Jade called trying to find her friends. Finally finding them, Jade padded slowly over to Okami and licked her friend comfortingly on the head. "You alright? Why'd you run away?" she asked, worry glazed in her eyes. Okamipaw was her best friend and she hated to see her in so much pain. "Is there anythingI can do?" she asked with a sweep of her tail.

Okamipaw closed her eyes and said in a tired voice "i give up, its too hard to go on now". her tail gently wrapped around amberpup. jadepaw and Amberpup were her only friends. her frame shivered a little, the large wound on her shoulder torn and bleeding.

Amberpup snuggled next to her friend, she was her best friend. Jadepaw was with her as well, this comforted her. "Don't give up, it only gets better Okamipaw." Amberpup was upset, Tallfeather was no diamond. No, he was a spade to her.

Jadepaw rested her tail on Okamipaw's un-hurt shoulder with a concerned look in her eyes. "I'll be RIGHT back." she stated and ran out of the barn and into the fields. Scanning around, Jade scanned the grass and heather for as many cobwebs as she could find and wrapped them around her front right paw. Hobbling back to where Amberpup and Okamipaw were, Jadepaw scooted over to where they lay and started to gently pat the cobwebs onto Okami's bleeding should. "The cobwebs should help.... Sorry if this hurts." she apologised as she pressed the cobwebs down as carefully as she could.

Okamipaw smiled faintly and murmured "what did i do to deserve you guys..." her black eyes opened a little and focused on amberpup. her heart squeezed and she gave a short gasp of pain. she snuggled Amberpup a little and smiled thinly.

Amberpup shook her head, that was not the right towards Okamipaw. "Okamipaw, it's not what you did to deserve us, it's what we did to deserve you." She said, she was truly sincere about it. She was nervous, Okamipaw could not give up.

She smiled a little and curled up around amberpup "you two are my best friends" she said tiredly. her black eyes opened and glittered she said "amberpup heatherstar should be alerted that there is an intruder in our territory. ill come with you if you want'

Amberpup nodded, she knew exactly where Heatherstar was too. "She went to the moor with a new wolf, he left ThunderClan to join WindClan." She said, her voice soft and full of compassion. She was going to give Heatherstar her story and request that some form of disciplinary action take place! He allowed this wolf to stay on WindClan territory. He was in a forbidden relationship with her.

Jadepaw nodded agreeing with Amberpup and she plonked herself down on her rump. Okamipaw seemed a little cheerier which made Jade smile. "Intruder? Do you mean Skyfeather?" Jadepaw asked with a tilt of her head. She'd met the StormClan wolf before so that's how she knew who the female was. Jade sighed sadly as Amberpup ran off again and she hauled herself grudgingly to her feet. "Can you make it to the moor without that wound opening again?" Jade asked Okami.

Okami nodded, hauling herself up onto her four paws. she bared her teeth in pain but she worked through it. she shook out her white pelt. her left shoulder where the bullet wound was had stained her pelt crimson witb blood. with a flick of her ears she slowly hobbled towards the moor.

Jadepaw flicked her ears and spun around in the direction they were heading. The thought that maybe Heatherstar might not want to be disturbed popped in her head but Jadepaw shrugged it off and followed her friends. Rather probably already knew about Skyfeather but it was best to tell their leader anyway. Jade lashed her tail and raced off towards the moors.

Barkstripe raced through the moors. His tail flicking behind him. He slowed down by the white-washed fence. He glanced into its boundaries. He saw horses,cows,and other animals gazing on the new sprouting grass. He massaged his feet in the grass. Sinking his claws into the ground. He took a deep breath. He closed his eyes and felt the wind flow beep side him. He turned and tried to hear something.
He heard some scuttling in some brush. He kept his eyes closed. He dropped into a hunter's crouch. He slowly crawled forward. His ears wiggled every time he took a step. Bark stopped when it waa close. Or what sounded like it. He then leapt forward. He felt flesh sink into his claws. He scrunched up his muzzle and bit onto it. He felt warm blood flow into his mouth. He opened his eyes and saw a plump white rabbit in his jaws. He tasted the metallic taste of blood. He glanced around once,then speeded off again.
