Blackhawk sat down, his tail swishing lightly. His excitement of training his first apprentice inbearable. He gleamed with happiness.

Swiftpaw sniffed the air for any scents of wolf or any dangers. He trotted forward into a quick walk looking for any paw prints or any signs of predators. He looked around the area the was faint stale smell of dogs which must have passed this place before we had chased them away.

Blackhawk lifted his head. A faint but fresh scent lied over the old dogs scent. He backed up a bit to let Swiftpaw identify it himself. His skin crawled as if something was watching them.

Swiftpaw smelt a fresh scent of something he scanned the area he hadn't come across this scent before. "Blackhawk what is this smell." He wondered if the dark warrior would know what the scent was.
