Fangpaw training with Silverheart<3

Hunting Large Animals : 14 for hit, 8 for miss (14/60)

Hunting Medium-Sized Animals : 9 for hit, 5 for miss (9/60)

Hunting Small Animals : 4 for hit, 2 for miss (10/60)

Fishing : 4 for hit, 2 for miss (10/40)

Finding Prey : 4 for large, 8 for medium, 4 for small, 6 for fish (20/60)

Finding Herbs : 5 per successful find (0/60)

Scouting for Predators : 8 for successful scouting w/out injury, 5 for successful w/ minor injury, 2 for successful w/ major injury (16/60)

Offensive Fighting : 5 for Successful hit, 2 for unsuccessful hit. (15/60)

Defensive Fighting : 7 for Successful block, 3 for unsuccessful block. (28/60)

The wind billowed sending a chill down her spine as she waited for Fangpaw. Willows creaked and grass swayed she kneaded her paws against the earth. Her nostril filled with the scent of nearby prey. Muscles relaxed and ready to see how the first day of training was going to go. Lifting her muzzle into the air she smiled at the thought of actually being a mentor. But she wasn't to go head over heals and rush this whole thing at once. She will learn along side Fangpaw and pass on what Magmafeather had taught her. The rustle of prey hid in the underbrush in the skirts of the forest. Light poured onto her silvery gray and white making the warmth pour into her body. Grooming her pelt one last time before she would begin the training.

(For the fishing points, isn't it supposed to be 6? Seeing as Fang missed once and then hit once thus making 6?)

Fangpaw nodded. Swimming? But he knew how to swim already. Shrugging, the apprentice hurriedly and hopped into the water, feeling the current going against him, feeling the force wanting to drag him under. Unlike his old pup times, Fangpaw stood there, and stayed afloat. "How do you even properly swim?" He inquired his mentor before growling and a fish passing by. Isn't swimming just swimming? The whole point was to stay afloat. Maybe there was some tricks that his mentor will be teaching him....

"There are many ways to swim for different reasons" she smirked before ducking under water and knotting herself around her apprentice. She kept afloat while paddling them deeper into the bubbling current. "Especially in battle or rescue" she hinted before slowly realesding her grip. Hopefully she didn't have ti rush after him in this rushing river. Then they would practice fighting on steady ground.

Ohhh. So this is where the training was going. Rather than fighting on a flat and steady surface, Silverheart wanted to teach him how to fight in the water. Fair enough. "I see. So the trick is to fight but not get carried away by the current?" He asked. Now wading around trying to get used to the water, Fangpaw kept his senses alert on his mentor just in case she sprang and caught him guard while trying to get used to the water. And if she did, well that can be either life damaging or life saving.

As she lunged at him growling playfully she held him under. Ready to let him up if he struggled but she knee he had a chance. Propelling her back legs she grinned "Sure is!" She barked over the gurgling rush of the churning water. She had never really seen this done before, and she hoped it would turn out alright. Her ears throbbed as the current played with her fur weighing her down. But she kept herself steady and remained pinning Fangpaw underwater.

The apprentice was soon emerged under the current, with the pressure on his shoulder as Silverheart had pinned him under. Well his senses weren't that alert or else he would have dodged. 'Um how do I do this...' He thought frantically. Maybe playing limp would have a good scare on his mentor while it would let her release him. And that was exactly what he did. Falling limp under her grasp, Fangpaw also closed his eyes to make the illusion even better. Who knows, it might work. And if it does, one spring would get them both to switch around leaving him on top.

She held for only a few seconds before she could no longer feel the muscles under his soaking pelt tended. Franticly pulling him up and paddling towards the shore rapidly. Hopefully he had gone with the classic play dead and was only tricking her. But his sides slowly rose and fell in the usual pattern. Nudging his side she pawed at him trying to wake him.

Fangpaw smirked inside his head as his mentor frantically tried to wake him up somehow. When he felt that the time was right, the apprentice used his epic speed and well, pounced and pinned Silverheart under the water as well. Maybe fighting in the water was easier than he had ever thought. "Do I win anything?" He inquired while his pelt was just soaking with water and dripping back into the river.

Whipping backwards her breath caught in the current as she was pinned. Yelping in surprise she jolted upwards "Wow, that was good speed and force!" She barked shaking her pelt. "One step closer to being a warrior" she said with a smirk wiped across her lips. He was bound to be done soon with training. Then she waded up to the shore her breath quick and still frantic. He had given her quite the scare there.

Fangpaw smiled with his head held high and his tail swinging at an even pace. The apprentice was really proud of himself, seeing as he had fooled Silverheart into thinking that he was unconscious. "Do you seriously think I can be a good warrior?" He asked once he saw his mentor calm down. At times he had his doubts, so it was good to get reassurance from someone like a warrior themselves.

"Absolutely!" She barked and realeased a small chuckle. Giving her pelt one last shake she stared at Fangpaw wondering what he wanted to do now. Swiping out with a paw she cupped his ear and tussled over him unexpectedly. Careful not to squish her apprentice with her weight although she was quite light.

Fangpaw was soon pinned under the weight of Silverheart, leaving him catching his breath as it was an unexpected 'attack'. Smirking, the apprentice used his front paws to swipe his mentor's muzzle, then rolling under the warrior which left his belly now facing the ground, and not the air. Though Fangpaw didn't want to get up just yet, which might leave him caught off guard once again.

She smirked whipping backwards to face Fangpaw. Sliding through the dust it spewed upwards engulfing them in a dark cloud. Knocking him from the side and biting his scruff lightly fateful not to puncture skin. Then launching into the clear air tossing him a few feet away and growling playfully. Lowering her head and gesturing him toward with her tail.

Fangpaw once again was caught off guard. Though before he could make a move, he was thrown to the other side of the dirt cloud, and landed with a gentle thump. Growling playfully, Fangpaw got back up onto all fours and sprang into the air, doing a small twist so he would land beneath his mentor, and 'swipe' her belly soon after.

Swirling dust now confused her only the small outline of her apprentice appeared. Growling softly she churned her paws in the dust uneasily. Awaiting her surprise attack at any moment now, but all was quiet. Looking up the dust began to drift off in the careful breeze.

Right then, the apprentice landed on his back not so swiftly, though still managed to slide under Silverheart and pawed her tummy before rolling out underneath his mentor and then playbowing. This was more fun than fishing, and the fact that the river was nearby could give them both an advantage and a disadvantage. "So? How did I do?"

She gasped in surprise and leaped upwards slightly. Stumbling back a few paw steps, but managed to find her footing. "That was very suprisibg and well timed!" She yelped brightly dipping her head. He deemed quite fond of training now, and she felt more relaxed. This was going to be a fun training session together. Smirking she leaped to Fangpaw's left and swung her hind legs around. Catching his legs and side sweeping him neatly and quickly.

The apprentice smiled proudly, before he was soon sidestepped and left him regaining balance. Once he did, Fangpaw then charged full speed at the warrior, and pouncing when he was close enough. Now with them both rolling around until they fell into the water, the apprentice let go of Silverheart before swimming higher up the river where the water was more shallow, and less rapid. Now all he had to do was wait.

Bounding after him her pelt shimmering in the dawn light. Panting softly water sprayed in the air her forepaws outstretched. Until she halted several feet infront her apprentice. Water spewing up into the air creating a rainfall of water droplets. Then lunged diving under him and bucking upwards softly.

The apprentice watched her moves, and soon she dove under then rose under him, sending him losing balance. Going under the water, Fangpaw then swam underneath the rapids before standing up and then hopping onshore. Running up to where Silverheart was, the apprentice let out a small battle cry then hopped onto her back, pinning her down.

Stuttering slightly ad she was pinned by her apprentice. Then a grin played with her lips and she rolled over. Snapping upwards shaking free of his grip and growling, revealing glinting white canines. She twisted to her side and burst full speed into the underbrush and dove through limbs. Silently gulping for air as she Hud from Fangpaw quietly.

The apprentice was knocked from his position, and when the dust cleared, he couldn't see his mentor. 'Hidden.' He thought mostly to himself while looking around. Keeping all senses alert, Fangpaw looked around for Silverheart's white pelt.

Stifling a giggle as she watched her apprentice search for her. Clawing up the tree making it to a low branch she crouched silently. Swatting at flies and birds that twittered around her ears. Looking back up finding that she still hadn't been noticed. Smirking she watched intently observing how he tracked her down.

Fangpaw heard the distant claws upon wood, but when he snapped his head back, the apprentice saw nothing. Nothing. Sighing, Fangpaw looked around once more, hoping that Silverheart would show herself sooner or later. Cause like, he was getting bored, and anxiety was just building up by each heartbeat.

Scrunching up her muscle with a soft growl she pounced. Tussling him to the ground delicatley flailing her slim legs trying to confuse him. Scrambling from his tangled limbs she leaped back and smirked. Waiting his next move, and hopefully he had something good in store for her. Her pelt prickled as she stared down her opponent and twitching her tail.

Hearing a soft growl, the apprentice was about to react back to only realize that his mentor had already leaped, and was now just trying to confuse him. It worked; seeing as he was batting at air each time he swapped what seemed to be her legs. Though soon, Silverheart had gotten off of him, and then she was now at the other side of the field waiting for his next move.

Grunting and his nostrils flaring, Fangpaw charged and literally headbutted his mentor at the flank, possibly with enough strength to knock her down, splaying on the floor.
