Fourtrees #5

Fourtrees is a group of four tall oak trees that the Clan wolves have held their Gatherings at since the early days of the Clans. Fourtrees is described as neutral territory, and is often used when wolves from different Clans want to meet outside a Gathering. There is a large rock in the middle of Fourtrees called the Great Rock.The Clan leaders use it to look down on the Clans and share their news during Gatherings

Echosong padded into the clearing, the trees as making her as awestruck as usual. She glanced around, and remarked she was the first one here. Maybe I'm a bit to early... She thought sheepishly. Turning, she waited for her apprentice to appear from the bushes. Her eyes glimmered with excitement. She would be able to congradulate Shadepaw on becoming a full medicine wolf.

Featherpaw strode confidently into the clearing, her fluffy black tail streaming out behind her proudly like a flag. She sat down in the center of the clearing, pressing close into Echosong's fur as a chilly wind blasted past. She glanced aroumd the deserted clearing, icy wing rattling the branched of the four ancient Oaks that guarded the hollow. We're the first ones here! she thought excitedly, turning her eager gaze to see who else would emerge from the depths of the Forest.

Moonwhisper skidded into the clearing, her eyes wide. Her bright green eye took in the huge trees circling the clearing, and the giant boulder in the middle. She ran around the clearing five times before coming to a panting halt. Only then did she notice two wolves sitting in the center. She recognised them as the medicine wolves from Thunderclan. Bounding over to them she smiled brightly. "Hello!" Her green eye drank in the surrounding. They starry sky, the trees, the dirt, the stones. She felt as if she had been born again.

Shadewhisper padded into the clearing, the crispy night air full of a bit of tension to come no doubt. His eyes full of worry for the gathering. Moonwhisper would no longer be his clan mate. Nor Direblood either. His friends were leaving him. He went ti Featherpaw and Echosong. "Hello, an interesting gathering this will be." He said, thinking they already knew about the clan being formed. But one success from tonight. He'd made a blind wolf see. His friend had been cured.

"Oh, Hi Shade! You came afterall!" The excited warrior didnt feeling any of the tension in the air. Actually, she had forgotten all about what Direblood would do ever since her right eye regained sight. She smiled widely. "Yup, the best gathering ever!"

Echosongs brows shot up as the Windclan warrior ran around the clearing. Must be the one who was blind, she thought to herself. No, is blind. She swished her tail when Shadepaw appeared, and dipped her head as she spoke. "Yes, it will be very interesting. Congratulations on becoming a full medicine wolf though."

Shadewhisper looked at her. "I don't think the leaders will like this plan you and Direblood have concocted. IT can't say that the presence of a sixth clan will tickle they're fancy. So be a bit wary Moonwhisper. If you need me, just give me a howl on the borders and I'll be there." he said, he was worried about it. He looked to Echosong. "StarClan has blessed WindClan, with an herb concoction, I have healed one of Moonwhisper's eyes from blindness." He said.

Echosongs eyes widened. "Cures blindness? Really? So Moonwhisper isnt blind anymore? Would you mind sharing it?" She smiled hopefully. "Although I understand if you would like to keep it for your own clan only." Her eyes followed the hyper warrior around the clearing. "I hope the leaders are not to harsh on them. It would break their hearts. I'm glad to see your there for Moonwhisper. A true friend, even though you are seperating."

Moonwhisper skidded to a halt at Shadewhispers words. It all came flooding back to her, and an uneasy feeling began in her stomach. What would happen? She smiled slightly when he mentioned he would be there for her, but it just reminded her more of the loyalty to Windclan she was lacking.

Shadowpup bound into the clearing. his fur had the slightest ShadowClan scent, but was over powered by WindClan scent. He sat down by himself. His eyes filled with pride.

Moonwhisper watched as Shadowpup entered the clearing and padded wearily over to him. "Hello," she greeted, her green eye troubled. "I guess its tonight we decide where our loyaltys lie."

Swiftstreak arrived to for the fourtrees early he twitched he's ear a little. As he walked out of he bushes he notice some wolves had already arrive the dark warrior walked over and sat down, dipping he's head in greeting.

Moonwhisper glanced over as a Thunderclan brute entered the clearing. She dipped her head in return, then focused her attention back on Shadowpup. Her nose twitched as the scents of the wolves already here began to mingle with her air. Flicking her tail nervously, she tried to calm the butterflies in her stomach.

Applesplinter's eyes were like drops of blood. Full of hatred for the warriors being nice to each other. This was to disgusting for her to stay and watch. Her blood red claws turned and padded away. She disappeared into thin air.

Shadestar strode down the hill, his black tail held high in a dominant gesture. No one had really yet arrived, but Shadestar was making up for his late arrival last Fourtrees meeting. Some of the Medicine Wolves and WindClan wolves had already arrived. One, of which, he recognized as Shadowpup. Instead of going the usual way straight up to the rock, he walked over to them. "Greetings, fellow wolves. Good to see you again, Shadowpup." he said with a slight smile and even an implied challenge.

Featherpaws ears perked as she heard Shadewhisper speak "Insteresting? How?" she said, mostly to herself. But when he spoke of a sixth Clan, her eyes widened. A fith Clan! she was astonished. There had always been six Clans in the Forest, aside from StarClan, hadn't there? The question loomed over her until she heard something about a cure for blindness. "Really?" she piped up, but her voice was drowned out as more wolves had arrived. The gathering would start soon.

Swiftstreak notice shadowpup with moonwhisper he did not know him but he knew he was a shadowclan pup, was he leaving to join the new clan. Swiftstreak looked around. He wondered if oakpup had left shadowclan, swiftstreak looked cool carm as he looked around with he's icy blue gaze.

Lightdawn had followed the ThunderClan wolves from the Moonstone, though arrived a little later than they. Walking quickly down the hill, she saw in surprise that Shadestar was already there, talking to the wolves that were sitting down nearby. It confused her a bit because Shadestar was never really the social type. Tearing her gaze from her brother, he instead settled herself besides the two ThunderClan wolves. She heard talk of a fifth Clan- something she had definitely heard of before. Looking curiously at one of the WindClan wolves, she noticed that one of her eyes was blind while the other one was not. How curious.

Nightfrost appeared from the shadows, her bright blue eyes cold. Glacing around, she noted with satisfaction that Shadestar was early this gethering. Spotting Swiftstreak, she edged around the clearing until she was far away. Shouldent temp fate. Glancine around again, her eyes fell first on a group of medicine wolves, then onto A windclan warrior and Shadowpup, the pup from Shadoeclan who would join the new clan. She wondered breifly if the Windclan warrior was one of the new clan joiners, but released the thought and sat down, running her tongue along her shoulder.

Shadowpup looked at Shadestar with challenge. Wish I could say the same. He thought, he just wanted to be freed of the torment. "I really can't say the same Shadestar. But what would I know? I'm just a pup who you would never believe. But hey, we were all once pups weren't we." He said walking away.

Swiftstreak saw shadestar he looked happy, he wondered why the massive grumpy leader smiled and even greeted a traitor from he led. Swiftstreak yawned and waited for the rest of the wolves to arrive.

Shadestar chuckled as the pup walked away. "Indeed." And since when did he say he wouldn't believe them? "You know, Shadowpup." he observed, "I never did say I didn't believe you. I only said I relied more on my own senses than on a pup's witness account of which I wasn't present for. I think it is only common sense. But you and your comrades enjoy creating drama and jumping to conclusions, I've noticed."

Moonwhisper looked up as Shadestar approached Shadowpup and herself. "You look nice today!" she exclaimed at him before following Shadowpup. Looked, not smelled, she thought to herself happily. I saw him! Not smelled him. Catching up to Shadowpup, she fell in silently beside him.
