Fourtrees #5

Fourtrees is a group of four tall oak trees that the Clan wolves have held their Gatherings at since the early days of the Clans. Fourtrees is described as neutral territory, and is often used when wolves from different Clans want to meet outside a Gathering. There is a large rock in the middle of Fourtrees called the Great Rock.The Clan leaders use it to look down on the Clans and share their news during Gatherings

Swiftstreak turned to see firepup he sighed, he hoped that the rest of the thunderclan pups behaved. He then saw a wolf collapse infront of all of the wolves at the gathering. He was shocked what on earth happened to this wolf, he thought to himself.

Glancing at graystar he said,"i found her in the bushes. I really do wonder who did this to her. But she needs help." He flicked his tail impatiently. Then gazed back to the brush,the trail of blood running down to the clearing.

Firepup gasped as she saw the state of Silktuft. She looked badly wounded. Firepup rose to her feet.

Her vision was blurred and twirled as she heard the voice of two wolves. A young pup had asked if she could stand. Before he grabbed her neck, she shook her head weakly in reply, as he pulled her to another location. Then she heard the voice of the leader. Grayheart. She looked to her, hazel eyes blurred, as she asked if she was okay. She coughed and closed her eyes tightly open and closed. The pain. "N-No. I feel broken and hurt." A single tear slid down her cheek as the pain hurt. She heard the pup yell to the others about needing help. She waited to see....see if she would fight another day, or die that day.

Lightning padded into the four trees clearing. She had stayed behind the others on her way to the gathering place. The female spotted some wolves she didn't recognize and some she did, taking in every detail. She spotted Shade star and then decided to pad out into the open. She stretched before sitting, ignoring those around her. Or so most would think. Her eyes, nose, and ears were busily sorting through all of the different wolves in the area. She was sitting with a view to the injured wolf and simply sat and watched, curious to see what would go on this gathering.

Glancing at the young wolf,he watched as a tear fell from her face. He then sighed,and said,"you'll be fine don't worry." He said it gently,and licked her cheek. He grinned.then flicked her tail. And gave his chest a few embarrassed licks.

Lightdawn growled in frustration as one thing after another occurred. Running forward to the injured wolf, she said, "I need cobwebs, poppy seeds, comfrey root, dock, or even goldenrod. Either of those last three can work for healing the wound and preventing infection, but the cobwebs and poppy seeds cannot be replaced. Quickly, could someone find those in the woods and return? Preferably someone who knows what they are looking for.." She said these words in a rush, her head currently elsewhere as she attempted to help this poor wolf. "Leave her be." Lightdawn demanded. "Don't make her move or have her speak, it will just make her more tired and things will get worse."

Firepup approached them slowly, not wishing to alarm the injured wolf. "How is she? Is she going to be okay, do you think?" Firepup asked the big pup standing next to Swiftfur. The firey pup looked down at the injured wolf and gave her a friendly smile.

Glancing around,he saw in the wind,a cobweb stuck to a tree. He quickly grabbed some,and brought it back. Placing next to lightdawn,he kept a solum look on his face. He then glanced around for more medicine

Shadewhisper rushed over. "Let me through!" He heard Lightdawn. "I'll be back as soon as I can with them Lightdawn." He howled running to the forest. Cobwebs weren't hard to find, he got a bundle of them, his eyes concentrating on his work. He found a small bit of poppy seeds near the WindClan border with ShadowClan, some comfrey root near there. He ran back as fast as he could, they herbs in his mouth he placed them before Lightdawn. "It think I got it all."

Flicking his tail back and forth,he backed away to let the medicine wolves do what they do best. "Healing." He whispered silently. He glanced back,then continued back to under high rock. He watched through the shadows as they gathered round her.

Russetstar arrived, with the air of someone who was late, but, currently in the mood he was in, would have killed anyone who spoke of it. He swept in quickly, and, with a short run up, leapt onto the rock. It seemed Direblood was going to go through with the Clan of Rogues - much to Russetstar's disgust - and he couldn't wait to get started and to see Shadestar's reaction. If he wants to form an alliance to get rid of them, he vowed, I'll gladly join him.

"Thank you very much." she said as Graystar, Bluepup, and Shadewhisper quickly complied and brought her the things she needed. First she offered the poppy seeds to Silktuft. "Eat this, the pain will go away." she said smiling. Then she began work on the poor wolf. Chewing the comfrey root to a pulp, she placed it on all the open wounds she could find. The female wolf had become dirty and the last thing she would want was a bad infection- especially because it looked like she had been bitten by something else. Then cobwebs were put on top to help slow the blood down. It looked like the wolf was just bitten and scratched badly with no broken bones or the like. Once finished, she paused for a second. "There, you should be fine. Just rest." Then she turned to Shadewhisper. "Can you think of anything else?" she asked him quietly, ignoring all the commotion around.

Watching russet appear through the brush,he gave him a slight nod. He then glanced back at the injured warror. Hope shes alright. He then gazed through the clearing. "Hmm no sigh of hawkpool. Wonder what happened to her."

Firepup's ears twitched and smiled to see the medicine wolf at work. "Get well, Switfur", she whispered and went to sit under the Highrock's shadow. The firey pup looked around but couldn't see her sister anywhere. She then heard the same pup wondering where Hawkpool was. Firepup got up and walked up to the big pup. "Hawkpool's taking care of the other pups back at camp."

Gazing at the younger pup he said,"well,thats good to know. You a friend of hers. I met her last gathering. She seemed...." He paused. "She acted quite like my mother that died when i was a pup." He looked at the young pup carefully. His solum gaze,searching her soul for secrets.

The apprentice padded into the clearing, each time mesmerized by this place. It was a holy and sacred ground, and every time it makes him happy. But this time, he was even happier when the apprentice spotted the too familiar orange pelted apprentice that he grew up with. "STOATPAW!" He shouted as loud as he could, and ran up to him. But sadly, he forgot to stop and crashed right into him.

Fliching his ears at whoever was shouting,he groaned. He turned and saw stoatpaw and some other wolf. He turned his head curiously. He then Padded over and said,"well stoat,looksmlike you are having trouble." He then helped the two apprentices up. He was no bigger then they. About the same size. He then flicked his tail in greeting. "Hi,whom might you be." He studied the apprsntice carefully.

Rainstar padded into the clearing. She ddin't walk with her normal gait she just stomped up. With a respectful nod to the other leaders she jumped onto the greatrock. With a rep The black female sighed and simply looked around, she wasn't in a talking mood so she kept quiet. She noticed Direpaw on the rock and made a confused look, she had not heard his announcement. "May I know what is happening?"

Snake padded into the clearing and sat down on the far side. He didn't really care what was being said so he sat in silence looking at all the wolves as they conversed. He sighed a bit sadly but shook it off, and looked up. The small wolf's head buzzed a bit there was so much confusion...

The apprentice's ear flicked at this pup who had helped them up. "Thank you. I'm Fangpaw. Riverclan." He introduced himself formally. "Its just I haven't seen my friend in days, and I have missed him." Once things became more formal than playful, Fangpaw was up for the challenge. This pup seemed to be just as tall as him. Maybe one day soon he's going to become an apprentice. "And you?" He was trying to be as polite as he could.

DireBlood turned his head and dipped his head to rainstar "i am Direblood now Rainstar of thunderclan, and i just announced that there are no longer four clans in the forest, there are now five" hisi blood red eyes twinkled gently as he said "i hope that our clans may be friendly towards each other and that battles will not take any of our members" he turned his head and smiled seeing snakepaw. he dipped his head to snakepup and winked a little at him showing him that he hadnt forgotten him. he returned his attention to the other leaders. making sure to stay respectful.

Rainstar nodded, she didn't really mind. Some wolves just didn't feel comfortable and they would find it hard to live alone and a clan for those who felt left out seemed ok to her. She questioned something though, would wolves from different clans be able to live together? They were so different yet she was kind. "Good luck, and as it seems Starclan has done nothig about it, they must approve."
