Fourtrees #5

First topic message reminder :

Fourtrees is a group of four tall oak trees that the Clan wolves have held their Gatherings at since the early days of the Clans. Fourtrees is described as neutral territory, and is often used when wolves from different Clans want to meet outside a Gathering. There is a large rock in the middle of Fourtrees called the Great Rock.The Clan leaders use it to look down on the Clans and share their news during Gatherings

Rainstar watched them leave her ears droopping. She headed back to camp but stumbled on a new wolf !(WInd) . She wasn't in the mood for growling so she smiled and looked at him. "Do you need something?"

Snakepaw ran after Direblood. The wind ruffled his fur as he ran after his new clan, his new family. A small smile spread across the young wolf's face. His paws thudded as they headed to hightsones.

Wind looked over at the femail, Rainstar and smiled slightly, "I'm passing through, and need a place to stay. I was wondering if the wolves here would let me stay." then he smiled again warmly, "I promise I won't be any bother." then he lowered his head at her in a sign of respect, though is was was always a free spirit and never submit to any wolf. Though if he gave his loyalty, he would do so with his life. After saying this, he stood and waited for her reply.

Flicking her ears as she watched isenpup become isenpaw ripplepaw turned and glanced at stoatpaw a gentle glittering in her baby blue eyes. licking his nose with a gentle teasing in her eyes. the kind white apprentice began paddin gafter the others.

Wind watched the others go and said to rainstar, "Should we go with the others?" he said this without command in his voice, but simple curiosity. This, after all, is no wild land he was used to. This was a pack, and where there's a pack, there's at least one leader and rules to be followed. Wind was a peaceful wolf at hart and he had no intensions in stirring up trouble. He stood easily, his head up and his tail relaxed behind him and waited for Rainstar to reply.

Rainstar smiled kindly at Wind and shook her head, her gaze gentle and warm. "No, here we are four different packs as you may call them. You may find it strange that four rival packs would get togeyher but usually we have a meeting in peace." she looked around the clearing and smiled, maybe today wouldn't be so depressing after all. She looked at Wind, "We have camps, not dens. If you wish you could stay with my clan, Thunderclan. We're considered the most hospitable and I like to hold that up." she waited to see if Wind preferred something else or would like to follow her.

Featherpaw opened her eyes, her jaws parted in an enormous yawn. She peered up at the Great rock, only to find that the leaders were gone. Confused, she peered around the clearing, wondering what was going on until it finally hit her. Mousebrain! You slept through the entire Gathering! she thought, swiping her mussel with her paw, hard. "Ow!" she snarled under her breath, her black mussel turning scarlet with her own blood. "I really am a mousebrain if i can't even remember to sheathe my claws!" she spat, frustrated with herself. How am i going to explain this? she thought, her ears burning hot with embarrassment as she wondered if anyone saw her screw-ups. She got to her paws and quickly made her way to the edge of the clearing, watching to see what she should do in her confusing state.

Rainstar looked around and saw Featherpaw who seemed a bit dazed. she watched her, her ears turned towards Wind in case he said anything. The moment she turned her head and looked back Featherpaw was bleeding. She called her over, a bit confused.

Featherpaw glanced down at Rainstar, the source of the voice that named her. Reluctantly, she stood up and began to walk over. How am i gonna explain this?! she thought franticly as she approached her leader. She sat down beside the leader, turned at an angle so she could spy Rainstar and another wolf who appeared to be speaking to the leader. She sighed, kneading her paws anxiously into the ground, waiting for Rainstar to ask.

Rainstar opened her mouth to speak but noticed something else. Featherpaw was nervous. Rain's ears twitched with slight humor, deciding it probably hadn't been someone else. "Are you ok?" She asked instead and smiled weakly.

"Err, yea, f-fine," she stammered, her pelt burning with embarrassment. She swivled her head around quickly, appearing as if she were gazing at something across the clearing. But she was trying to clear her mussel of the sticky crimson that stained her black face. Drawing her paw across her face for a last time, careful not to nick herself again, she turned back to Rainstar, not making eye contact. She shuffled her paws in silence, knowing that she hadn't cleared all of the blood out of her fur as she willed her scratches to stop bleeding.

Rainstar's eyes shined with slight humor but she let it drop as it seemed Feather did not wish to speak of it. The female glanced at Wind and smiled, as snow slowly began to fill the clearing. The young female smiled and sighed, she loved the snow. she looked down at Featherpaw and back at Wind. she was menatally hoping almost willing him to come with them. Thunderclan now was the smallest clan. As Riverclan, Windclan and Shadowclan had combined. Luckily she had the support of Sunclan but it wouldn't make a big difference if all three clans decided to try and make them join. But she would never join, she would waste her nine lives before joining this so called stormclan.

Featherpaw glanced up at the thickening sky, a flake of snow landing on her nose. Happily licking it up, she noticed the ground being coated in the icy flecks. Letting out a joyful squeek of delight, the young apprentice began rolling around in the white blanket, not caring who saw her acting like a pup. She rolled a small ball of the white flecks together into a tight ball. She scooped it into the air with a paw, left up and bit into it, sending bloody snow everywhere. She tumbled to the ground, the white blending into her black fur, making her appear grayer than normal. She laughed, continuing to play while Rainstar chatted it up with the loner.

Moonwhisper dipped her head and began to follow Direblood. She glanced behind her one last time, her gaze lingering on the few wolves who remained. Her nose twitched, and her green eye grew bright. Even if three clans were against them, it would be no problem. They would get used to their territory, and fight like Lionclan.

Echosongs eyes flashed as she stood. Her cramped muscles protested, but she shook herself out. Dipping her head to Rainstar and Featherpaw, she headed to camp. "When your ready," she murmured as she passed them.

Featherpaw looked up at her mentor as she dissapeared over the rise to the camp. She stood up, shaking a little of the snow off her black pelt. The snow on her mussel was scarlet with blood, but at least it had stopped the wound from bleeding. Echosong will know what to apply, she thought, turning to dip her head to Rainstar and follow her mentor's tracks back into ThunderClan territory.

Icepup padded back to camp tired. She saw that Firepup had already left. This was bad, no, not bad, but she felt hurt they didn't wait for her. She nodded a nod of respect to Rainstar as she passed her, she went to camp.

Stoatpaw watched as Snowstorm had said goodbye to him, nodding in response. He remembered when he was a pup, playfighting with Snowstorm, Silverheart, and Fangpaw. He would miss his previous Clan; but he was still happy to be joining SunClan. It would be fun to be in a different Clan, and he would be loyal to his Clan. As the other SunClan members trotted off, Stoatpaw ran after them. He glanced at Ripplepaw as she'd licked his nose, waiting for her to leave before he went after Direblood and the other wolves in SunClan.

wheeling around ravenpaw turned and headed for the riverclan camp, she wanted to go and talk to fangpaw about this new merging of the clans. and well they were joint clans so she had every right to go and see the riverclan camp, besides it felt almost like home to her after spending time looking after the wolves there after the dog attack. flicking her blue black tail the apprentice vanished

Wind smiled slowly, glad that these wolves are friendly. He dipped his head at Rainstar. "I'd love to join thunder clan. Though," here he smiled sheepishly, "I have always been a free spirit, so I might not be good in following orders, but I will do my best." he smiled and walking over, licked her muzzle in acnoledgement. Then he turned to Feather, "You ok? Here, let me help some." Gently, he pressed a few paws of snow against the wound. "That would take away the pain, but we need herves for that." he looked over to Rainstar, "Thank you for letting me join."

Rainstar nodded kindly, "Don't worry I'm not to strict. And if I am, well..." She paused and smiled, "Lets go home." She led the way back to camp, her pelt lightly covered in snowflakes. She looked over her shoulder to see if Wind was following.

Nightfrost slitted her eyes against the lightly falling snow. Glancing around at the basically empty clearing, she followed the rest of Sunclan. Her blue eyes glimmered and she caught hope in the air. Maybe they would survive. Even if she died fighting, she would die fighting for Sunclan.

Graystar let out a yawn, watching what was happening. She was a bit tired, and wanted to get back to her camp to make sure everything was alright. The gray wolf understood why most of her Clan already went back, as this was a rather long Gathering. Looking at Shadestar, she said; "Is there anything else you'd like to mention about StormClan, Shadestar?" The wolf remembered how Shadestar said that he wanted the StormClan members to stay after the Gathering and wondered what he wanted to say to the StormClan wolves at the Fourtrees.

Edit: [I forgot about what Ravenpaw said when I was posting]

As Graystar heard the ShadowClan medicine wolf apprentice speak, perhaps trying for the leaders to hear, her golden eyes blinked. What would that mean? Of wolves sleek, would probably mean RiverClan; she listened more to that then the rest. Deciding she'd need to speak to her Clan about this, or at least the StormClan wolves in RiverClan's old camp, Graystar looked back at Shadestar to see if were going to say something to the StormClan wolves.
